About: Hi! I’m Shawna — Unlike a regular dog walker, I provide structured runs to safely burn excess energy and reinforce calm leash behavior — ideal for high-drive dogs. I specialize in structured walks (working with dogs that pull the leash) and 2+ mile runs to help dogs burn energy and feel calm. I’ve trained everything from mellow labs to my current reactive cattle dog, so I’m comfortable with strong-willed or high-energy pups. Whether your dog needs a peaceful walk, consistent leash guidance, or a good run, I bring calm, confident energy and real experience. Let me help your dog stay happy, tired, and well-exercised. About: I have taken care of many different types of pets such as cats, dogs, horses, snakes, hamsters, fish, and birds for family members, friends, and neighbors since I was 10 years old. I also have experience working at animal shelters around my city. I am currently working part time, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I will be available during most hours of the day. I will follow any instructions on how you would like your pet to be taken care of and make sure your pet gets plenty of attention and exercise

About: I’ve had my fair share of dogs since birth & found caring for dogs is a win/win, I get the therapy and they get the royalty! It’s in my nature to care for them and give them all the lovin they deserve. My friends come to me when needing a few day sitter or even just to come check on their pup when gone for a long day. If you see photos, I’ve cared for all of those dogs, all shapes and sizes! I’ve connected with my friends and community around time enough for them to trust me with their beloved pet and I’m excited to make this official. I live alone/have no other animals. I work part time in Gilroy during the week in the afternoon for a few hours, but I have free lots of time between to find those needing dog care locally! Currently I’m free mornings till about 2:30. Evenings after 7. Weekends depends. Sundays free! I live in a travel trailer and have some inside space for roaming, but am usually on property with lots of free land & a 10ft outdoor lead for when hanging at home, with door open of course unless I’m outside with. It’s a good life in nature. Minimal outside distractions. Lots of space & room for playing catch :)

About: I am attending school at UCSC for legal studies and have a robust knowledge of dog parks, dog-friendly beaches and trails from Santa Cruz to the City! If you’d like to socialise your dog, you’re in luck because I have a 10-month-old baby 🐾 of my own. We have tons of doggo friends for your pooch to meet if you choose, and no matter what, your dog is getting top-tier handling and care when you trust working with me! If there are behaviours you’d like to work on or would like me to be aware of, please do not hesitate to reach out, and we can discuss them further. I am available for full time pet care and when school resumes come the New Year, I will be available part time + still available to board if needed. There has not been an hour where I have not been in the company of 1 or more dogs since June 2024 I have a fenced yard for the dogs to go potty and run uninhibited. I have a small scale toy operation which means the dogs will have plenty to keep them occupied and if he/she would like to go home with their favourites, we can arrange for that too. I am capable of pickup and drop off as well as supervised visits to the park, creeks, the beach, trails, etc.

About: I used to be a part of “Guide Dogs for the Blind.” You were pre screened, trained, and I had dogs overnight. It was very rewarding! I have 2 medium sized dogs as well. I have time for pet care as I am working a part time job that only takes up 4-6 hours of the day. I LOVE getting my steps in along West Cliff and having a companion for the walk is always a plus! I am free on weekends too and am willing to set scheduled times for walking or house check ups. I’ve had dogs since I was young and am very familiar with this care. I have also lived with 2 cats and loved learning the care techniques for cats as well! I love animals and always want the best for the animals and owners requests!

About: I am currently studying to be a veterinarian. I care for 3 small dogs and other various animals such as chickens and fish. I am also able to care for other pets such as rodents, some farms animals, cats, birds, etc. I am able to give any size dog a bath without much problem. I was able to teach my youngest dog 5 tricks at 1 month old, and he now knows up to 20, including hand gestures. I have extensive knowledge on many dog breeds and can care for the dog or train it based on its historical or genetic traits and needs. I am able to administer oral medication for dogs as well. I also manage 6 fish tanks of various size in my home: cleaning, feeding, purchasing food etc.

About: I’ve been around dogs all my life and been pet sitting for a few years now, I also have 2 dogs of my own. I’ve also watched a few cats and kittens. As of right now I am in school but it is only online I’m free Monday through Friday and most of weekends in the morning.
