We start our day in the morning with a nice sniff, play, or zoomie time on the property. After breakfast we'll do a walk on the beach, a hike (depending on your pet) or playtime on the property. My dog is getting older so he's usually good for about 3 miles and can't really do strenuous hikes. He loves the beach so we also take a late morning beach walk. Aromas also has a lovely dog park now, so if your pup is social that's a fun place to go. For more athletic dogs, there are some incredible hiking trails in this area. Afternoon chores start normally around 5, when I walk the property and feed and check on my goats and emus. This is more play time for your fur baby, as we watch the sunset and settle in for the night. Where does your pet sleep? They are welcome on the furniture or my bed. I also have extra dog beds for those pets who like their space. I have a completely fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. With the exception of a couple of 2-3 hour windows 2 to 3 days per week, your pet is never alone. I do have stairs so if your pet needs help going up and down, I will block the stairs so there are no accidents.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had two or three at a time—from Huskies, Malamutes, and wolf dogs to French Bulldogs, Border Collies, and Pit Bulls—so I learned early that every breed brings its own personality, challenges, and way of learning. Over the years, I’ve worked on the fundamentals with a wide variety of dogs and later had the opportunity to learn from an experienced trainer with a background in search and rescue, protection work, and advanced behavior training. That experience helped me expand my skills, understand dogs on a deeper level, and appreciate how much the right approach can change both a dog’s behavior and their future. Now I’m building something of my own. My goal is to keep learning, keep improving, and use the skills I’ve developed to help dogs become more confident, manageable, and successful in their homes. Most importantly, I hope to help give dogs with behavioral challenges a second chance—and keep as many as possible from being euthanized simply because they were misunderstood or never given the right training. I tend to favor weekends and over nights with my work schedule. However, flexibility is possible. Scheduling your pups appointments ahead will always be recommended! I work with both dogs and handlers/owners to facilitate better communication. Once a dog can communicate effectively with their human, a bond deeper than “the hand that feeds me” can develop.

I'd prefer to use your crate to make your dog feel more at home, but I have a small and large crate available for dogs that don't have one. Small Animals (birds and rabbits) are kept in a separate room the entire stay. They will not have any interaction with any dog in the house.

I’m currently working from home, part-time, and teaching yoga at a nearby gym a couple of days a week, so your sweet pet would rarely be home on their own. My single-story home has a large, fenced yard where your dog can roam freely to play, take a sunbath, or chase butterflies. My 32 lb dog, Prema, will keep your dog company on daily walks and at home. The home has a doggie door, so your dog is free to roam in the house and outside. The doggie door is locked at night. Ideally, you would supply you dog’s favorite bed (although we have extras) a collar and leash, and preferred food with instructions on feeding timing, amount, etc. I want your pet to feel happy, safe, and have fun while here. 🦮

About: I’ve owned seniors dogs, puppies and everything in between. Jack Russell Terrier to English Mastiff. I’ve also owned cats with diabetes that required insulin daily, neurotic quirky animals we’ve had to adapt to, chickens, goats, sheep, bearded dragons and other reptiles. We are an active family. Hilo and Koa go most places with us. However, there are times he must stay home in his covered kennel, fenced yard or inside depending on weather. I’m very comfortable helping dogs through the initial awkwardness of being away from their people and home, and I’m happy to give them the patience, reassurance, attention, and affection they need to feel comfortable. I also keep a close eye on the dogs in my care and am very attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, or anything else that might indicate they aren’t feeling quite themselves. My goal is for every dog staying with me to feel safe, loved, included, and like they’re having their own little vacation while their family is away. My house is definitely a dog-friendly home! My dogs are welcome on the couches and beds, and I have plenty of cozy dog beds and pillows scattered throughout the house for everyone to find their favorite spot. If your dog enjoys being around other dogs and can be trusted to have some time alone in the house, they’ll fit right in and have a fantastic time here. I don’t mind giving medications, following special instructions, or providing extra attention and care when a dog needs it. About: For walks: I'm very experienced at dog waking. I can handle big and small dogs. I can move at any pace on walks including running. I like to let the dog set the pace. I will typically ask owners what commands they use with their dogs so I can help keep them trained and have them heel on walks. I always avoid other dogs just in case. And on hot days I plan my walks in advance and leave water out for the dog on the route before I start the walk. For drop ins and sitting: I will comfort your dog while you are away as well as feeding them, walking them, and playing with them. I can also give medications orally, but I can't inject any medications. I'm currently a student and since all my classes are online, I will have plenty of time for your pets. My dog is getting older so he's usually good for about 3 miles and can't really do strenuous hikes. He loves the beach so we also take a late morning beach walk. Aromas also has a lovely dog park now, so if your pup is social that's a fun place to go. For more athletic dogs, there are some incredible hiking trails in this area. Afternoon chores start normally around 5, when I walk the property and feed and check on my goats and emus. This is more play time for your fur baby, as we watch the sunset and settle in for the night. Where does your pet sleep? They are welcome on the furniture or my bed. I also have extra dog beds for those pets who like their space. I have a completely fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. With the exception of a couple of 2-3 hour windows 2 to 3 days per week, your pet is never alone. I do have stairs so if your pet needs help going up and down, I will block the stairs so there are no accidents.

I share my home with a wonderfully chatty, smaller-sized Siberian Husky named Fuschia. She loves to "talk," but she is trained, incredibly friendly, gentle, and absolutely adores playing with new furry friends. Other than being a chatty Cathy, Fuschia is the anti-husky- preferring to sleep and chill than having high energy. Whether your dog wants a playmate or just a buddy to lounge near, my husky is an excellent, welcoming host. I've owned tiny dogs (chihuhuas and terrier mixes), a large wild dog that needed extensive training (a wolf-husky hybrid), birds, a rabbit, and have helped friends take care of their exotic animals (snakes and lizards). I’ve been dog sitting for approximately ten (10) years. I have enjoyed sitting small dogs to giant doodles (who believe they are small lap dogs) as well as elderly and special needs dogs. I’m a true animal lover and offer comprehensive care tailored to your pet's specific life stage and health requirements: * From Puppies to Seniors: I understand the patience and frequent training breaks required for tiny puppies, as well as the gentle pacing, orthopedic comfort, and slow walks needed for elderly dogs. * Medical & Sick Dog Care: If your dog requires special medical attention, you can rest easy. I am highly experienced in administering oral and topical medications, managing strict dosing schedules, feeding according to strict dietary needs, and providing a calm, stress-free environment for dogs. * Small Animal Expertise (Birds & Rabbits): I don’t just care for dogs! As a prior bird and rabbit owner, I am fully experienced in handling, feeding, cage or pen cleaning, and understanding the unique requirements of rabbits and birds. ------------------------------ 🏡 My Home & Safety Setup Your pet’s safety and peace of mind are my absolute top priorities. * Dog Play Areas: Dogs have plenty of room to stretch their legs, curl up on a couch, and run around and play inside the house and in my secure fenced in yard. When they play with my husky they will be always be supervised. *Sleeping: When it’s time to sleep your dog will sleep in a crate inside the house to ensure they are safe and secure while they are resting. * Sanitation & Routines: I’ll adhere to your feeding schedules. I’ll take your dog for a walk and can bathe them if requested. ** Separate, Stress-Free Zone for small animal friends: To ensure a calm and secure environment, all guest birds and rabbits are kept in a completely separate room away from any dogs in the house. They will enjoy a quiet, predator-free space where they can feel safe and be nurtured. During the week, I work from home and have a flexible shift that ends in the early afternoons. On weekends, I'm home, and your fur baby will get plenty of walks and playtime. I live in a gated community in Morgan Hill and have a securely fenced yard for your dog to run and play. I keep the dogs in the house when I'm working, and there are plenty of couches for the dogs to curl up on and nap. At night, the dogs sleep in a crate inside the house. I'd prefer to use your crate to make your dog feel more at home, but I have a small and large crate available for dogs that don't have one. Small Animals (birds and rabbits) are kept in a separate room the entire stay. They will not have any interaction with any dog in the house.
