About: I have had dogs and pets my whole life and have pet watched for friends and family. I also volunteered at multiple places, one was an SPCA shelter working with dogs. Where I completed the dog handling training course required to volunteer. I have also worked at a shelter farm, with birds, caged animals and farm animals! I currently work part time so my longest shift is 3 hours. So I will have tons of time to feed, walk and play with your pet!! For boarding: I live in an apartment with a fenced in dog play yard, to play with the dogs! There is also a nature trail at the complex to walk them! I have a good amount of room for them to move around the apartment as well.

While I currently do not have any dogs, I have grown up with them throughout my life and have experience with several different breeds or all different ages. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate last minute requests and ensure that every pet receives consistent and loving care. I have a very spacious apartment with room for a large dog crate. My apartment complex is very dog friendly, there is a fenced in dog park as well as several walking paths that make dog walking very easy. We went and toured a Doggie Day Care place....There were so many dogs barking it gave me anxiety much less the dogs! I came across Rover.com and reached out to a few Doggie Lovers. Our first in-house interview was not great, BUT then we had a second interview with Hermun, and we were so excited that we had found the perfect place to leave our babies. She was kind, clean, loving, communicative, and super accommodating. We received pictures, and daily updates, and the boys were SUPER happy when we picked them up. We felt as though they were receiving the same love and care with Hermun as we would have supplied in our own home. Would ABSOLUTELY use Hermun again!”

Emily was so kind! Before confirming the booking she asked if there was anything that she should know about my dog (I describe her as leash reactive on my profile) to see if that was something that she could accommodate. After some back and forth, we did a meet and greet before I left for 9 nights. 😭 I received daily updates with photos and prompt responses to any inquiries that I had when I was on my vacation. My flight home was delayed by about 2 hours and Emily was completely understanding when I went past my original pickup window estimate. She had already picked Pepper up and even offered to drop her off just to make my life easier. 10/10!
She was very kind during the meet and greet and was responsive since we had to have another dog sitter drop our dog to her home. I appreciated her flexibility and understanding. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Nicole! From the start, she was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and communicative. She sent us regular updates and photos of Opie, which made us feel completely at ease. It was clear that she didn’t just care for our doodle—she truly cared about how we were feeling too. Her compassion, attentiveness, and genuine love for animals shine through in everything she does. Opie was happy, loved, and so well taken care of. Tara is the sweetest! This was my dog’s first time with her, and I will 100% book again. She is very communicative and sent pics from their stay together. And my dog seemed like a very happy camper- lots of pics looking cozy or playing with her toys. We found a gem in Tara!
Nick was amazing with our dogs! One of our dogs has anxiety and the other is a senior, but he was able to manage their special needs with care. He sent daily updates and photos/videos, and really made us feel a sense of calm while we were away. He was also super flexible with our drop off and pick up times which we appreciated since we were flying and experienced some delays. Would definitely recommend and book again!
