About: I have cared for dogs my whole life and will provide a safe place for them! I am a SAHM so I am able to give them lots of attention and care. I stay at home so I am able to provide excellent care for your pets. They will be given a safe space and be well cared for. I have a fenced yard and two small dogs that play well with others. I also have a separate area if you have a pet that prefers to not socialize with other animals

“Sarah is a fantastic pet sitter with a great home and amazing dog named Cinder to keep your dog company while you are away! I never worry when I leave my dog with her for the day and he always comes home happy and spent. Would recommend to anyone who needs a quality sitter.”
About: When I moved to Oklahoma from abroad, I brought with me my family of 2 cats and 2 dogs and in the 10 years I have been here, I also fostered an elderly golden retriever mix for 18 months until her passing. I absolutely adore animals and have been enormously lucky to have had animals in my life, all of my life. I currently work from home with a very flexible schedule. When out running errands and the like, I am never away for more than 2 hours or so at a time, so your pets have almost constant care and companionship. I live in a fenced yard and no longer have animals of my own. I also have decided to only take on a single client at any given time, which some pets and pet parents may find preferable. It also allows for families with both cats and dogs not to have to find separate accommodations for each.

“We unexpectedly had to make a last minute trip to Broken Arrow and we needed to find a sitter to watch our dog for a several hours. Upon researching sitters in the area we decided to use Paula. We were extremely pleased with how well she took care of our dog, and will not hesitate to use her again in the future. If you are looking for someone to watch your dog you will be very pleased with Paula.”

About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my entire life, with over 25 years of experience caring for dogs and cats, including strays and rehomed pets. I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities and always make sure each pet feels safe, cared for, and loved. I’m currently training for a marathon, so staying active is a big part of my life—perfect for dogs who enjoy long walks and extra playtime! I’m also happy to match the pace of more relaxed pets. I offer walks, drop-in visits, and weekend overnight stays, and I treat every pet like my own with reliable, attentive care and lots of love. When caring for pets in your home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications, while also giving plenty of attention and companionship. I respect your home, keep things clean and tidy, and provide updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.
“John and Eli were amazing, and I am so glad my boy was able to have four wonderful days at their home. He made a new friend and came home exhausted every day, which was so helpful for my husband since I was out of town. I really appreciate how responsive and caring John was to my messages and that he sent both photos and videos of Cinder every day he was there. Since it was the very first time we've had someone care for Cinder while I've been out of town, it made me feel much more at ease to know he was having the best time at John's house! We will absolutely use John and Eli again for future needs!”

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently have a 2 year old husky named Moose (Daphne), whose story started with me taking in her stray mom and unexpectedly becoming responsible for four surprise puppies basically overnight. Navigating puppy life x4 taught me a lot about patience, structure, training, and reading dog personalities quickly. Moose and her siblings still get regular play dates since they went to close friends, which has been really special. I’ve also had pets my whole life, including multiple family dogs and a cat who lived to 17 years old. I genuinely enjoy animals of all personalities, energy levels, and quirks. Whether that means adventure walks, play time, routines, or just making them feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I'm currently working part-time in photography so I have a lot of free time and energy to take care of anything your animals may need I have a fenced in yard and one friendly pup who loves other dogs. Your dog would be well taken care of, and since I do have a Husky, who are smart and prone to escaping, I'm always close by when she goes outside. She also does not like to be in the heat so I'm always conscious of keeping a cool home with lots of water

“Amy and her husband were absolutely fabulous. My two dogs are wonderful except for the fact that my big dog has climbed fences in the past… one over ten feet tall. So I naturally get very nervous when I leave my dogs anywhere. They have such knowledge of dogs and dog behaviors… they weren’t nervous, had a set up to combat the issue, and were just overall wonderful with both of my dogs. They also were very careful and loving to my old dog with hip dysplasia. The second day I went to drop the girls off, both of them went running right into the house and looked back like they were saying, see you later. If that’s not a sign, I don’t know what is. Wonderful wonderful wonderful experience.”

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Inola commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
