About: I've taken care of animals since I was a kid. I was a vet assistant for 5 years, then was an animal control officer for 20 years. I recently worked at a local equine veterinary practice. About: Since I was 12 I’ve been helping my mom in her dog grooming business including walking, feeding, watering, and bathing. I’ve also had a handful of babies that needed special care so I have no problem handling any sort of medication if needed. I helped my dog when she had puppies. We have 3 dog, & 7 cats 4 of which are mine the rest have been dumped here, in the middle of nowhere sadly that why people just drop them off out here. I used to take care of the neighbor's animals when they were out of town or on vacation. Recently I did this for the first time In long awhile. Now im watching a friend's dog too. I realized not only do I enjoy doing this, it could possibly help my grandpa (who's doing this with me ) pay for his diabetes medication because he feels better earning the money the asking for it. The only scheduling conflicts wouldbe with the Doctor's appointment. But there are only a handful of those a month I'm also a photographer so unless I have a shoot schedule. It should fit nicely into our routine. In my clients home, I would do my utmost to try & care for there pets to the standards that they are Accustomed to or what is being asked of me. If they need medicine then I would prefer to have detailed instructions and to watch the owner do it once. I am a quick learner. Along with a hard worker.
