“Wonderful experience for us and for Gus The Wonder Dog. We indicated at booking we would drop him off between 9 and 9:30 am and pick him up between 4 and 4:30 pm. We discovered before we dropped him off the first morning that our group would be eating dinner about 3 miles from the sitter's home. To pick him up at 4:30, return him to the B&B, and then drive back to dinner venue would have added about 15 - 18 miles of driving in somewhat heavy traffic. I asked if we could pick him up after dinner”

About: We are a family of pet lovers. We have three cats and a dog. I've been responsible for caring for pets since I was little and have always really enjoyed the company of animals and getting to know each individual personality. During my teens and early 20's I did a lot of house and pet sitting for friends and family who have described me as very responsible, caring, reliable and trustworthy. I am a photographer and work from home. Over weekends and in the evening my wife is also available to assists with taking care of your fur baby/babies. My latest available pick-up/drop-off time is between 7-8PM. I have a small fenced yard and a large home. Our home has three cats and one dog. We also have a sun room where "private dining" is an option for your pet, if needed.

About: I have cared for my family's pets for over 30 years, I love meeting new animals and getting to know their personality! I have experience at every stage of a pet's life, from puppies and kittens to elder pets. I have experience administering mediation, caring to your pet's specific needs, assisting disabled pets, training puppies and crate training. I am dedicated to being a caring and thoughtful pet-sitter. I love animals and can't wait to meet your special friend! I currently have 1 dog and 2 cats. My dog, Zoey, is a 2-year-old puppy that I got at 12 weeks old, so my puppy training skills are fresh! I also have 2 cats, Archie and Theo, who are brother cats from the same litter. I've had them since they were kittens. Zoey grew up with the cats, so she is well trained with cats and she is very well behaved. Zoey and the cats get along with other animals very well. They are sweet, loving pets that play together and nap side-by-side. I work from home full time, so I am always at the house. I am very flexible to whatever your pet's routine is. Whatever they need, I can incorporate it into my day. At booking, I will provide a questionnaire and you can advise me of any needs or requests for your pet's routine, and I will make their routine a part of mine! In my home, I provide pets with several comfortable areas for them to lounge and sleep in, with bedding and blankets. I also provide several toys and chew toys that are usually left out for them to play with (unless requested not to). Meals are kept on schedule and any mediation or vitamins are administered on-time. Water is always filtered and clean, changed daily (or use a continuous running system). Safety is my top priority. I want to ensure that your pet has a safe and relaxing time during their stay, I will provide a separate room for your animal if needed or requested, with their own bedding and play-area. I have several rooms in the house that are not used, so I keep this space reserved for your pets. I will collect your vet information at booking and take your pet to their vet if necessary; I also am a member of the local Dauphin County Animal Hospital, which I can use if needed for emergencies. I will maintain communication with you and check-in daily with photos; I am also open to take any inquiries, if you would like to check-in on your pets.

Weekly Routine: • Grooming & Maintenance: Bathing, brushing, and nail trimming. • Deep Cleaning: Washing bedding, sanitizing play areas, and refreshing supplies. • Client Management: Updating bookings, sending reports or photos to pet parents, and restocking essentials like treats and poop bags. The top three things I provide are : safety, trust, and a comfortable environment. These are top priorities when caring for pets, in my home. Here’s how I ensure every dog feels secure, loved, and well-cared for: 1. Safety First • Secure Spaces: My home is dog-proofed with fenced play areas and crate options for safe rest. • Supervised Play: I monitor all interactions to prevent rough play or stress. 2. Building Trust • Consistent Routine: Dogs thrive on routine, so I maintain set feeding, potty, and exercise schedules. • Positive Reinforcement: I use rewards, praise, and patience to make each dog feel comfortable. • Regular Updates: I send owners pictures and updates to keep them reassured. 3. A Comfortable, Enriching Environment • Cozy & Clean Spaces: Whether at my home or a client’s, I ensure dogs have clean, comfy resting areas. • Mental & Physical Stimulation: I incorporate training, interactive toys, and daily exercise to keep dogs happy. Dogs MUST be leash trained and crate trained as I use crates as a precautionary measure and/or bedtime purposes .No Exceptions!!!!
