About: I have had the pleasure of caring for dogs of various breeds and sizes, providing attentive and loving care while their owners were away. My responsibilities have included feeding, administering medications (if required), walking, playing, and ensuring the dogs' overall well-being. I have a strong understanding of canine behavior, ensuring that each dog feels comfortable and safe in my care. I also make it a priority to follow any specific instructions from the owner, such as dietary needs or special routines. Through my dog sitting experience, I have developed excellent communication skills with both pets and owners, ensuring a positive experience for all involved. I’m currently working full time Monday-Thursday/Friday. My work hours are typically from 6AM until 3:30/4 PM. I can easily care for dogs after work, as well as before if an overnight is requested. I have 2 Golden retrievers myself, so I am used to playing fetch for hours as long as nice walks at the end of the day.

About: I have several pets of my own. Over the years I have volunteered with shelters as well as taking care of my own animals. I have dealt with bigger dogs, small dogs, and lots of cats! I love animals and will do whatever I can to ensure a happy and healthy environment! I currently work part time over the summers in Pennsylvania and go to school in Ohio over the rest of the year. I can work in both places, it just depends on what time of year. My account will have my area provided for which one for whichever time of year. Normally I have a 8 hour shift, I do have a couple days off a week and still have plenty of time before and after work to take care of animals. I also have my lunch break. I will follow whatever instructions are provided by the client. I will stick to any dietary needs, exercise needs, and any attention needs the animal has. I am willing to clean litter boxes if it is a cat and obviously I will pick up after a dog on a walk. I keep a very close eye on the animal(s) and make it my primary focus when taking care of them.

I have experience at every stage of a pet's life, from puppies and kittens to elder pets. My dog, Zoey, is a 2-year-old puppy that I got at 12 weeks old, so my puppy training skills are fresh! I also have 2 cats, Archie and Theo, who are brother cats from the same litter. I've had them since they were kittens. Zoey grew up with the cats, so she is well trained with cats and she is very well behaved. Zoey and the cats get along with other animals very well. They are sweet, loving pets that play together and nap side-by-side. I work from home full time, so I am always at the house. I am very flexible to whatever your pet's routine is. Whatever they need, I can incorporate it into my day. At booking, I will provide a questionnaire and you can advise me of any needs or requests for your pet's routine, and I will make their routine a part of mine! In my home, I provide pets with several comfortable areas for them to lounge and sleep in, with bedding and blankets. I also provide several toys and chew toys that are usually left out for them to play with (unless requested not to). Meals are kept on schedule and any mediation or vitamins are administered on-time. Water is always filtered and clean, changed daily (or use a continuous running system). Safety is my top priority. I want to ensure that your pet has a safe and relaxing time during their stay, I will provide a separate room for your animal if needed or requested, with their own bedding and play-area. I have several rooms in the house that are not used, so I keep this space reserved for your pets. I will collect your vet information at booking and take your pet to their vet if necessary; I also am a member of the local Dauphin County Animal Hospital, which I can use if needed for emergencies. I will maintain communication with you and check-in daily with photos; I am also open to take any inquiries, if you would like to check-in on your pets.

I’m comfortable giving shy pets the time they need to warm up. I don’t have much experience with special needs care, but I’m happy to handle meds or anxiety with a steady, reassuring approach. If a dog barks, I’ll soothe them with a calm voice; if they pull on the leash, I’ll pause until they settle; if a pet’s shy, I’ll let them come to me. My schedule is flexible and I can work around your dates, including weekends and holidays. People often tell me they appreciate my calm, thoughtful approach — it helps my pets feel safe and at ease. About: I've had many dogs my whole life. I love playing with them and watching their personalities come out. I've also taken care of my neighbor's dog when she was on vacation. I am working in a reptile building at a zoo, and I also attend college for animal studies, where I work with many different animals. When I'm at the client's house, I will have the dogs on a leash when going outside unless they have a fenced-in yard and they say I can have them off of it. I can also crate the dogs if need be.

About: I have always loved dogs. In 2021, I adopted a German shepherd and joined a training group. Practicing and training with my own dog every day led to me developing a passion for walking and working with dogs. Since then, I have walked many dogs, including structured walks where we practice heel, sit, place, and other basic commands. I also have experience assisting my trainer with client lessons and dog sat overnight for a home with multiple dogs. I have experience with large dogs, and could also help them to practice walking nicely on a leash. I have worked with and walked small, medium, and large dogs, and even a very large dog. I truly care that dogs get enough mental and physical stimulation so that they can live their happiest lives. Even in rainy weather, I enjoy taking out my dog. I’d love to help more dogs get more walks and sniffs in! I have also dropped in to care for friends’ cats and am comfortable providing cat care drop ins as well. I have a fresh water aquarium at home and could feed fish too! I am a freelance writer with a flexible schedule. Currently, I prefer to walk dogs during the day or in the afternoon, but I could work with other times. I would be available to walk dogs or drop in Mondays through Fridays and some Saturdays. I’m willing to work with you! I am very respectful of others’ homes and their rules for their pets. When pet sitting in the past, I have used a lock box to access a key and returned the key to the box upon leaving the home. I am also familiar with crate training and can follow instructions for how you’d like your dog to be greeted and let out. I am able to drop in to let your dog out to the bathroom, either in your fenced in yard or on a leash. I am also available for walks, taking dogs to the park, playing, or practicing training.

About: Hello! I am home for the summer and looking to spend my time with adorable pets and show them some love! I have been taking care of my two dogs since the 5th grade and I just graduated college. I love going for walks and playing fetch. I’m also content chilling on the couch and watching doggies nap. Most days I don’t have any obligations throughout the whole day and can work my daily tasks and errands around walking or checking on dogs. I always make sure my pets have water available all the time, especially in the summer. My dogs usually go on a leash when they are outside, and I feel most comfortable walking dogs with a leash. My dogs eat at the same time every day and get lots of attention when inside.
