About: I have always been careful when taking my dogs out on a walk. Never crossing the street on a green light, even if there are no vehicles in sight. I tend to keep a tight leash with the dogs. Keeping them in my sight and always cleaning up after them. I would also enjoy sprinting down the block with my dogs to get them tired as they are a highly energetic breed. When it comes to caring for a pet in a client's home I would always make sure the dogs feels safe and have fun with me I would really just take them out on long walks around the city or just let them have fun in a park with plenty of open space. I will maintain the feeding schedule given to me by the clients and if they allow treats I will bring treats

About: I have had and taken care of mine and other's pets for over 20 years. I have experience with all different ages, breeds and personalities. I have a very flexible schedule so my schedule is pretty much open and I can change to whatever I needs it to change to. I take care of animals the way I parent my own child. I agree with a gentle approach and an understandable approach. I do not agree with hitting dogs or rubbing their faces in accidents. I'm also very patient.

About: I have a B.S. in Animal Science from Delaware Valley University and have lots of experience working with and owning all types of animals, from huge horses to tiny fish. No animal is a challenge, and I hope to meet them all! I know Rover does not offer “exotic” animal (rabbits, reptiles, fish, etc) or livestock (horses, cattle, chickens, etc) pet-sitting, but I understand that lots of people have more than one pet, so feel free to ask about my exotic animal pet sitting as well and we can figure it out! My weekly schedule changes all the time, but I always have weekends and a few days here and there to do whatever you need for your precious pet! I will always, no matter how difficult or unique, do whatever is needed to make sure your precious pets are cared for in the most loving and safest way. Nothing is too much for me, and I will always communicate with you!

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, caring for them daily and treating them like family. I’ve been with Rover for 4 years now and absolutely love every pet I get to meet. I also worked at a pet care facility in North Carolina, where I cared for many dogs and cats at once, ensuring they all received the proper care, attention, and love they needed. Now, I have my own animals that I do everything with, and I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for yours. I can’t wait to meet your furry family and give them the same love and attention I give my own! I’m currently in the Army National Guard, and I work a typical mon-fri 8-4 schedule. But I can assist with evening and weekends needs for your pets! I will do my absolute best to devote my time to your fur baby if you book me. With my schedule I will try to work with what you want, if something doesn’t work out exactly as planned I will contact you and attempt to work something out. I love giving the babies all my attention and I will make sure they’re properly fed, let out, and walked etc.

Knows basic commands and uses American Sign Language to communicate with dogs I am currently working part time so I have openings in between to take care of your pets. About: My aunt would bring her dog over when she would go on vacation and I'd take care of her. I would watch my grandma's dog for her on vacation. My partner has a dog thats now ours and I'm trusted with them. I just love animals. I'm off every single Tuesday so I'll be free from 8:00 until 3:00 pm and then 5:00-10:00 pm to come play with your babies. I'm usually off on Wednesday as well but sometimes it's a Monday, depends on my work schedule for the week. But I'll have it 3 weeks in advance to fit your babies into my routine to make sure they're well taken care of. I'll make sure your baby is fed, watered, walked and played with. I can crate them if needed. If they're good with other animals, I'd be more than willing to take them and my little one on a walk in a park together, I love taking mine to wildwood.

About: I've been taking care of dogs nearly my whole life. I grew up with a HUGE Rottweiler named Thor who weighed 120 lbs! I know, what a genetic freak of a puppy! When it comes to my personal experience taking care of pets it started roughly 8 years ago when I was trusted to watch my families' pets, neighbors, close friends, and people who just needed a sitter. As of 3 years ago, I finally became a cat dad. I now have 3 little rascals, all rescues, and love them to death. Always had a sweet spot for kitties for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately my mom and sister are allergic so took a while until I could have some cats in my life. My overall experience is in dog walking, pet-sitting, and of course playing with pets and staying the nights with them so they wouldn't feel lonely. If it is specifically cats, I always do the full shebang with feeding, playing ,and cleaning the litter upfront. I'm not just here to simply go through the motions, I know what some pet owners are looking for and things that they are worried about when needing a sitter. I do my best to keep clear communication, take TONS of photos and give plenty of updates so you can relax. The goal is to ensure your precious family members are kept safe and happy. I have a full-time career that spans from Wednesday-Saturday overnight. ALL of my services have 2 variants to availabilities. If you need me during my workdays, I am ONLY available from a time range of 5:30AM-10:30AM OR 2PM-4PM, this is on a case by case. On my days off which would be Sunday-Tuesday, I am available from 6AM-12PM & 6PM-4AM. Of course please message ahead if you need me during any other time on my days off and I can see what I can do. Unfortunately, I do not care for pets in my own home, I do however do House Sitting and Drop-In Visits. I understand a lot of what goes into what people are looking for when wanting their pets watched at home. I provide my own garbage bags, can offer cleaning services if necessary or wanted, and do my best to give updates on both your pets and your home if requested. When looking after your pets, I make sure to follow all procedures and rules listed. I wish to make sure your pet(s) feels comforted and calm so that they do not feel stressed, lonely, or unsafe. I ALWAYS know the greatest fear is making sure they are fed and have water so rest assured I will always make sure that is a priority along with playing with them and cleaning up after. Additionally, in my summers off from teaching, I have worked at a dog daycare the past 5 years. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 14; I’ve trained and cared for my golden as well as the four cats in my household. I’ve also started taking on strays! I work full time over the week and I am more than capable making any stops from work or even filling up my weekends taking care of your pet. I am very flexible with instructions if need be. I’ll take care of your dogs or cats with care and diligence. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I have a wonderful neighborhood that I can walk your pet in.

About: I have always loved animals growing up. We’ve always had a dog to play with. It sure made things a little more rambunctious but it added to the fun. I have helped take care of my first dog who passed away from colon cancer. It was not an easy thing but it was worth it to make sure she was comfortable her last days. I have watched friends and families pets when they have gone on vacations. I also work part time with a small pet sitting business. I’m so looking forward to getting to know your fur babies! I also work from home Monday, Wednesday, Friday and work in the office Tuesday and ThursdayI do work in office two days and work at a restaurant Friday evening and on Saturdays. If you ask for Saturdays I will make sure to only work half a day at the restaurant so your animal won’t go more than 7 hours without being let out that day. I’m not allowed to have animals in my apartment so this lets me love on yours because i don’t get to have one 🥰 I do my best to follow directions for specific needs of the owners as I watch and take care of their animals. For dogs, I like to make sure they’re getting plenty of exercise because that is usually what they crave throughout the day. I make sure that each animal gets the pets and love that they miss from their owner when they aren’t there. I love to give treats but usually take the cue from the owner on how many they are allowed to have. I like to let the animal to get to know me and my scent before showering them with all of the love because of skittish and animals that may have been abused prior. I do my best to take my cues from the animal. I will make sure that they are fed on the schedule that is provided by the owner and ensure that they have all the water they need. For medication I will need a rundown of times and ways to administer it. When it comes to certain medicines I may need a demonstration but after I will have no problem administrating medicine or other care for sick or older animals if that is your need

About: I have had many pets/animals over the years. Cats, dogs, hamsters, hedgehogs, etc. Many of the cats I grew up with had medical issues so I'm able to help them as needed. I am working part time. And dont have a set schedule, So hours will vary, but I'll do my best to accommodate the times needed. Currently I have 2 cats, so it's not too hard. Water, food and litter. But I can take care of anything, and will accommodate your animals needs.

About: Hello! Justin and I have both had all types of pets our entire lives. Dogs, cats, birds, fish and even a few reptiles! Justin is the son of a veterinarian and has had experience with many types of animals. Our daughters have never not shared a home with a furry best friend and are both nurturing animal lovers. We currently share our home with a very lovable hound mix pup (Finn) that we adopted from a local rescue at 4 months old. We also adopted an adult rescue kitty (Lewis) in the spring of 2022. Lewis and Finn are best buddies! Finn’s mission in life is to befriend everyone he meets, especially dogs!! He’d love to be your pups BFF while staying in our home. We have a gated deck that leads to a fenced in pup play area to safely and leisurely enjoy the fresh air and sunshine on nice days. We enjoy taking frequent walks in our very low traffic rural neighborhood. Our family would love to provide your pup with a loving, safe retreat while you enjoy a guilt free getaway knowing your best friend is being well taken care of and treated like part of the family. I am the primary care giver and Justin fills in when I need to run an errand or have an appointment. Our home is very puppy proofed because our doggy can be mischievous. I am looking to earn some extra cash to save up for expenses during physical therapy school while getting in my exercise and spending time with animals. I had to put down my beagle-basset mix around two years ago, so I really miss being around and taking care of a furry friend! I see Rover as a win-win situation--your dog gets the care and exercise they need while I do, too! I have experience taking care of small and medium-sized dogs. On Tuesdays I have class at 5:00 PM, and Wednesdays I have class until 4:00 PM. Fridays I have completely off, and can usually walk whenever unless I'm traveling. While I don’t take care of pets in my current household, I will thoroughly complete what you need me to do for drop-ins in your own home. I prefer taking dogs for walks through neighborhoods with established sidewalks and typically will cross the street if I see any other dogs coming the direction if they aren't fond of others. I’m not super ecstatic of dog parks, just because I’m not the most knowledgeable person about how your dog reacts with other dogs—this is just a personal safety measure. I would never want anything happening to your best friend! I would take waste bags along with me for the walk, and will always have my phone and keys handy in case of an emergency.
