About: I have taken care of Dogs, Birds, Hermit Crabs, Hamsters, Mice, Rabbits and Fish since I was 12 years old. I love to take care of animals, and be out in nature. About: I am 41 years old. I have been a certified veterinarian assistant for the last 13 plus years. I graduated from Animal Behavior College with honors for my Certification. And in the last 20 plus years, my family has had dogs, cats and even crawfish as pets. I personally had a golden retriever that lived almost till 13 years of age, Before she passed. Soon thereafter, I trained her further and turned her into a service dog for family concerned issues, and she was my Best Friend, companion,and Service dog for the better part of eleven out of thirteen years that she was with me. I took her out in public, every chance I got, and she even started going to work with me at petco on a daily basis. She became the unspoken mascot of the pet store , and regular customers enjoyed seeing her when they visited. She is/ was my best friend and I miss her terribly. I'm hoping to form new bonds and connections and be able to give the Love and Care that I had with Roxanne, to others, as a way to pay it forward to those around me. Once a Dog-mom, Always a Dog-mom! About: Hi! My name is Leah. To start off, I'm from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I’ve lived all over the United States and have a background in Wildlife rehabilitation. In Oklahoma I was raised around animals my entire life due to my parent's owning 600 acres and a farm. From a young age I was taught to be respectful and kind to all living creatures. I offer affordable short and long term petsitting in home for a number of different animals. I’ve personally raised snakes, geckos, lizards, iguanas, tarantulas, tortoises, parrots, chickens, fresh water fish, farm animals, rats, mice, sugar gliders, gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits, and of course dogs and cats :) I have reliable transportation and am located in Victoria, Texas. I love all animals with a passion and would love to care for your pets as if they were my own. I work from home and my schedule is very lenient. I’m willing to accommodate to your time frame as needed and own my own vehicle so transportation is no issue. At the moment I’m only able to petsit outside of my home due to me renting. Your trust and animal’s well being as well as my own safety is my biggest concern! I’d be willing to record all interactions in your home with your animal(s) if asked. I follow directions well so communicate to me fully what is to be expected and what the animal’s needs are and I will be sure to meet them with the best of my ability!
About: From Shih-Tzu’s to Pitbulls (or even Great Dane’s), I have great experience with walking, bathing, and playing with dogs of any size! If you have an animal that isn’t a dog or cat, let me know—I am more than willing to take care of any animal. While your pet is here, they are allowed to be on the couch and bed if they are washed/clean. Doggy Day Care Day care is available from 7am-6pm. I will be home the entire 13 hours, however, if your animal has destructive habits, a fee of at least $75 will be added ONLY IF they end up destroying anything( I will try my best to keep that from happening). I have in person classes Tuesday-Thursday (if you need a more detailed schedule for this just ask!) I have 2 cats—if your animal does not get along with cats, I can separate the animals safely which allows both you and I to not worry about any altercations! Animals will not be crated in my apartment, however, if I have to run an errand and if they are destructive when left alone, they will be crated (please provide a crate).
