About: I am 41 years old. I have been a certified veterinarian assistant for the last 13 plus years. I graduated from Animal Behavior College with honors for my Certification. I am versed in first aid, Pet care, dog walking, pet sitting, overnight stays. I am familiar with puppies, as well as older dogs. And in the last 20 plus years, my family has had dogs, cats and even crawfish as pets. I personally had a golden retriever that lived almost till 13 years of age, Before she passed. I took, my Roxy, to puppy education and intermediate education Dog training classes at Petsmart and then continued her education on my own. Soon thereafter, I trained her further and turned her into a service dog for family concerned issues, and she was my Best Friend, companion,and Service dog for the better part of eleven out of thirteen years that she was with me. I took her out in public, every chance I got, and she even started going to work with me at petco on a daily basis. She became the unspoken mascot of the pet store , and regular customers enjoyed seeing her when they visited. She is/ was my best friend and I miss her terribly. I'm hoping to form new bonds and connections and be able to give the Love and Care that I had with Roxanne, to others, as a way to pay it forward to those around me. Once a Dog-mom, Always a Dog-mom! Please give me a chance to take care of your fur-babies, because I'll treat them as my own. I am currently not working and have lots of free time during the day while my son is at school, and am willing to drive to get to your loved family pups. I have all the amenities to take care of medium to large dogs, leashes, harnesses, toys, a crate, bowls, training manuals and behavior books, I also have multiple texts on aspca dog and cats and handbooks on training and veterinary assistant practices and first aid as well. Looking for someone to help crate and potty train Ivy, as I work long hours during the day and Ivy has just been rescued. Sam was very patient and open to include training into Ivy's schedule. About: Hi! My name is Leah. To start off, I'm from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I’ve lived all over the United States and have a background in Wildlife rehabilitation. In Oklahoma I was raised around animals my entire life due to my parent's owning 600 acres and a farm. From a young age I was taught to be respectful and kind to all living creatures. I offer affordable short and long term petsitting in home for a number of different animals. I’ve personally raised snakes, geckos, lizards, iguanas, tarantulas, tortoises, parrots, chickens, fresh water fish, farm animals, rats, mice, sugar gliders, gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits, and of course dogs and cats :) I have reliable transportation and am located in Victoria, Texas. I love all animals with a passion and would love to care for your pets as if they were my own. I work from home and my schedule is very lenient. I’m willing to accommodate to your time frame as needed and own my own vehicle so transportation is no issue. At the moment I’m only able to petsit outside of my home due to me renting. Your trust and animal’s well being as well as my own safety is my biggest concern! I’d be willing to record all interactions in your home with your animal(s) if asked. I follow directions well so communicate to me fully what is to be expected and what the animal’s needs are and I will be sure to meet them with the best of my ability!
About: From Shih-Tzu’s to Pitbulls (or even Great Dane’s), I have great experience with walking, bathing, and playing with dogs of any size! If you have an animal that isn’t a dog or cat, let me know—I am more than willing to take care of any animal. While your pet is here, they are allowed to be on the couch and bed if they are washed/clean. Doggy Day Care Day care is available from 7am-6pm. I will be home the entire 13 hours, however, if your animal has destructive habits, a fee of at least $75 will be added ONLY IF they end up destroying anything( I will try my best to keep that from happening). I have in person classes Tuesday-Thursday (if you need a more detailed schedule for this just ask!) I have 2 cats—if your animal does not get along with cats, I can separate the animals safely which allows both you and I to not worry about any altercations! Animals will not be crated in my apartment, however, if I have to run an errand and if they are destructive when left alone, they will be crated (please provide a crate).
About: Throughout my experience with pet care I have learned that each fluff has their own quirky personality. And every pet I have cared for are very loving and sweet making the experience amazing and silly. While playing with them I get to see how happy they are even if it is just belly rubs. Being able to fill each family with a sense of ease while they’re away from they’re loved fluffs is what I provide. I am normally available on short notice unless I have given you my schedule beforehand. My schedule is Monday through Sunday and hours will be posted as well according to the week or month. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
