About: ⸻ From fluffy pups to feathery hens—and even a turtle or two—I’ve cared for them all! With years of hands-on experience raising dogs, cats, chickens, quail, and turtles, I bring a whole lot of love, know-how, and fun to every pet I watch. No matter the species, they’re in good hands (and likely a few happy wiggles or tail wags too)! Pet care fits right into my day like it’s second nature. I make sure to carve out time for walks, feedings, and play so every pet gets the attention they deserve. Whether it’s a quick midday visit or an evening hangout, I keep things easygoing and fun while sticking to their usual routine. Basically, pets and their needs are just part of my everyday vibe. I take pet safety and comfort very seriously, whether I’m caring for pets in my home or theirs. In my home, I maintain a clean, secure, and calm environment where pets can relax and feel at ease. I ensure all spaces are pet-proofed to prevent accidents, with safe toys and plenty of fresh water and food. When I care for pets in their own home, I respect their familiar surroundings and routines, which helps reduce their stress. I follow any specific instructions closely—from feeding schedules to medication—and keep doors, gates, and windows secure at all times. Communication is key, so I provide regular updates to owners to build trust and keep everyone comfortable. No matter where I care for pets, their safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities.

“Jennie has been awesome with my dogs and cats. She’s been doing daily drops-ins for us for a while now and I can tell my animals love her. She takes care of them like they are her own, including helping me out with grooming and giving my cat some supervised outdoors time. We are leaving the area soon and I know my pack will miss their daily visits from Jennie! Highly recommend.”

“Robert is amazing! We were in town for our son’s wedding and we hired him to watch our dogs for a few hours. He’s extremely easy to work with and he was amazing with our dogs. We felt very comfortable and relaxed at the wedding knowing our dogs were being taken care of. I would highly recommend hiring Robert to watch your dogs.”

Made my 9 day visit away peaceful and more enjoyable knowing she was looking in on them and providing for them. Thanks you Andrea!😊”

About: I'm an animal mom and lifelong animal lover with hands on experience caring for both large and small dogs, high energy pups, anxious dogs, and cats. About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life. I have 3 of my own. They have a special place in my heart and I would love the opportunity to love on yours! I’m not currently working so I’m available pretty much most of the time. You can even shoot me a text within the same day if needed. I have a fenced yard with 2 friendly dogs. I also have 3 siblings who would love on them as well. They are allowed inside whenever they want.

About: Hi! I’m a dedicated emergency veterinary technician with over 7 years of experience in the field. While I’m passionate about providing care during critical moments, I also cherish the opportunity to spend time with healthy, happy pets through in-home boarding and pet sitting. This gives me the perfect balance; combining professional care with a loving, home-style experience for your pets. 💛 I’m comfortable with taking care of special needs pets as well as administrating any oral or injectable medications. Let me know if you’d like you pet bathed before returning home 💗 I work from home so I am with pets 24/7 they would not be left alone long. I’m available weekends and last minute bookings are welcomed. I need full detailed description of your daily routines, pets potty, feeding and walk routine, all the little corks, things that may frighten your baby. If they are a little spicy or cuddly. I need all the details to ensure the least amount of stress as possible.

About: I've always had a special communication with animals and being able to spend time with them has always made me happy, and that's what I plan to do for my career. I am a student and athlete at the moment, and I don't have time to get a job with practice and loads of homework so taking care of pets helps me raise some money and still stick to my priorities. I take care of pets just like they are precious babies, I give them all the love they want, always make sure they are happy, and well taken care of.

About: I don't just love dogs; I know how to take care of them responsibly. As much as working with animals is enjoyable and fun for me, I am aware of the responsibility and skill level required to maintain a safe and healthy environment for your dog (or cat). I also know how hard it can be to leave your furry family members behind with a new person, so I'd love to reassure you with daily texts and photos of how our visit is going. I can even do a Skype call or other form of video chat if need be. I'm a former animal care professional with experience as a vet tech, pet store assistant manager, and groomer, and truly have an interest in the health and well being of your pet. I'm the type of person that double, triple, and sometimes quadruple-checks everything, and will pay attention to the small details in your pet's behavior and appearance. And of course, I absolutely love dogs. My favorite thing about them is their ability to break up the seriousness of a moment by being absolutely silly! Being a student also means that I will have more time to be at home with your pet. I've had the chance to meet dogs of all types and temperaments, and am comfortable walking energetic, leash aggressive, or nervous dogs. I understand how important exercise and quality time are in making your pup happy. I’ve been trained in safely restraining nervous dogs during their vaccinations, delivering subcutaneous injections, administering medication and feeding on a schedule for overnight patients, and clean up all variety of messes according to health standards. My Skills: --Medical Background: Because I've worked in a vet clinic and with many senior or disabled dogs, I will keep a better eye on your pet and be wary if he/she is limping, having trouble breathing, or otherwise seems ill/under the weather. I also know to look for the warning signs of a dog that is scared, looking to bolt, might bite, or is fixating on another dog (leash aggression). --Exercise & Handling: I am in good shape and am comfortable walking your dog frequently, including 45-60 minute walks or jogs for more active breeds. I'm also able to restrain your dog if necessary. --Training: I'm not a qualified dog trainer, however, I can practice whatever methods you are currently using with your dog trainer to ensure that their routine stays consistent. I've helped puppies practice sit, stay, and heel as well as deterring jumping or practicing "off" for restricted areas, and have had the opportunity to work with a few highly experienced dog trainers. --Basic Dog Wash: I have been trained by a licensed groomer to wash and dry dogs safely (I have also washed and dried cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs). I'm also able to clip nails and give your furry friend a good brush-through to get rid of tangles and mats. --Health & Medication: I am experienced and comfortable administering pills, liquid medication, or subcutaneous injections to your pet at the required times. I have worked with many unwilling and difficult pets, and I know how to make the process quick and successful while causing minimal stress to your pet. --Walk Safety: I am an experienced runner as well as a previous dog walker, so I know how to be aware of my surroundings when going for a jog. I have experience with dogs who do not like other dogs, and have learned how to avoid them as well as safely handle any negative reactions (barking, lunging, snarling, pulling on the leash) so that things don't escalate. --Other Pet Experience: I am very comfortable handling cats and other small animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rats, mice), and can honestly say I'm just as much a cat person as I am a dog person. I understand the importance of a calm, quiet environment when it comes to smaller animals, and I'm familiar with how to handle them safely. My resume and references are always available upon request. I’m currently working part-time and will have plenty of time to be at home with your fur baby. My hours are flexible and we can work on setting up a schedule specific to your pets’ needs. I mainly care for pets in your home, using guidelines you provide me with. I’m open to boarding requests but do not currently offer this service on short notice.

“My kids (8 and 11) had the best time with Michelle during her homestead school days! She introduced them to hands-on farming activities like feeding chickens, planting vegetables, and even observing the butterfly life cycle. They came home proud, dirty, and full of stories every time. It’s rare to find someone who combines outdoor fun with valuable life skills. Highly recommend for kids who thrive with nature and responsibility!”
