About: Loving, Reliable Care for Your Pup — Now With More Time to Give! Hi there! I’ve been on Rover since 2023, and now that I’m semi-retired, I’m excited to dedicate even more of my time to caring for dogs. Spending my days with pups is one of my greatest joys — whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or just keeping them company. I share my home with my friendly dog, Kyle, who loves meeting new furry friends. I’m patient, attentive, and truly love getting to know each dog’s unique personality and needs. Your pup will be treated like family here! Whether you need drop-ins, walks, or overnight care, I’m here to help and make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged baby. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. Since I’m semi-retired, I have plenty of flexibility and time to dedicate to each dog I care for. My day usually includes morning and evening walks, regular playtime, and lots of attention and affection throughout the day. I also build in time for feeding, potty breaks, and any special routines or instructions a pet may have. Because I already care for my own dog, Kyle, I’m used to maintaining a consistent, calm, and pet-friendly environment. Adding another pup into the routine feels seamless — I truly enjoy it, and I make sure each dog gets the care and engagement needed. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and relaxed environment. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible — from feeding times and walks to playtime and rest. My dog, Kyle, is friendly and enjoys having company, so visiting pups always have a companion. I supervise all interactions, provide plenty of affection, and make sure each dog has their own space if they need quiet time. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow all instructions carefully. I maintain the pet’s familiar routine, whether that involves walks, meals, medications, or special habits. I give them lots of attention, keep their environment tidy, and send regular updates so owners feel connected and reassured. No matter the service, my goal is always the same: to make every pet feel safe, happy, and well-loved. 🐾
“Stephanie was amazing!! She consistently updated me with pictures of the pups and made sure they had lots of love. She will take great care of your house and your pets!”

“Peggy always takes great care of our two westies! She is patient with our senior who is very picky eater and pretty needy. We always come home to a clean house and happy healthy dogs. We would highly recommend Peggy!”
“Jenniffer was amazing with our little Frenchie!!! She arrived early, stayed late, and helped with feeding and medication. Her enthusiasm and communication are exceptional! We can't say enough kind words and appreciation for her.”

“Sheena was amazing. I felt so comfortable leaving her in our home to watch our 2 pups. She kept us updated and I could tell they loved her - especially Rayne! We would definitely recommend and use Sheena again for our dogsitting needs.”

“Catherine watched my fur babes while I was in Europe. She was fantastic! I got lots of pictures and daily updates all of which eased my mind while away. I HIGHLY recommend”
“Susana was nice and prompt. She showed up to all Aurue on time and mostly listened to my direction however, I think there was a bit of a language barrier, and we had complications around communication several times. At one point there was some serious confusion that caused me a lot of stress. I appreciate her helping to take care of Aurie, but unfortunately due to Aurie being so young and the communication barriers we encountered, I don’t think she was the best fit for us.”

“Jackie has come to the rescue for myself and husband while vacationing in Lauderdale. We have our small 14 year old Maltese with us, and had no choice but to take him with us. He doesn’t do well at boarding facilities. I decided to get a dog sitter with the hopes of finding someone asap that not only takes good care of my dog, but is friendly with myself and husband too. It’s hard to trust good people. Jackie is wonderful and accommodating to the times we need. Will use her again in the future when I’m back in Lauderdale. Highly recommend!”

About: Flexibility with your needs as that’s what I’m here for! A extra hand to ensure your fur family continues to be happy and healthy and stay in routine! I enjoy being outside and find it therapeutic to interact with animals! It’s a perfect fit as they have always been apart of my life from dogs, cats, chickens, fish ! Your space and family are an extension of me while under my care and supervision so nothing short of what I hold for myself and my loved ones.
“Shannon is a godsend. She has been SO AMAZING with my pup. Not only did he take to her quickly, but she is thorough and communicative and kept me constantly updated throughout the stay. I’m so happy I found her and will be booking again for sure!!”

About: Ownership and volunteer rescue work has broadened our knowledge of basic dog training and behavior, We're huge Bully Lovers with extensive experience specifically with the Bully breed. We're very comfortable watching multiple dogs at the same time, though we do prefer a smaller pack to be able to give each and every pet sufficient time and love. Some pet sitting gigs have included cats, parrots, fish, toads, tortoises, cockatoos, finches and chickens, but specifically dogs of all age and size. Due to our pack, we're unable to watch your baby in our home, but we'll make sure to do an amazing job at yours. Experience walking dogs as small as Jack Russells and as big as Italian Sheepdogs and are also comfortable administering medication to your baby (dog). A life experience that has broadened our knowledge: At the beginning of Covid, our 2 boys started fighting. We hired an amazing trainer who enhanced our knowledge in dog behavior, dog fight prevention utilizing tools such as break sticks, medication and behavior modification techniques. We could go on and on about our love for dogs and experience, but why not just book us for an interview so we can meet your furbaby (babies)? You won't regret it. We work full time, but can walk your baby before work, during lunch (distance permitting) and after work. If hired to house sit, I would go to your home after work and stay there until I would have to go to work in the morning. As an experienced dog walker, we're very familiar with changes in a dog's behavior exhibiting fear or leash aggression. I always carry diversion tools such as treats, etc to walk your pet (especially on the opposite side of the street when another dog approaches). When home sitting, I will follow all your instructions to a T, providing your baby with excellent care and love.
About: I've always had a deep connection with dogs. I bring a very calming canine energy, and trust is gained quickly. Anyone who has a dog(s) and knows me well will ask me to sit for them when they can't provide the care their dogs need. When I retired from my successful 45 year sales career, I had planned on getting a dog. As it's turned out, my friends and neighbors with dogs have kept me very busy. And it's been the most fulfilling and gratifying chapter of my life. I just have an innate ability to connect with dogs and what I give to them, they give back to me. It's been a very rewarding time in my life now that I get to do what I love best: to be surrounded with canine company. And I can unequivocally and honestly say I'm very good at it. As I said, I'm retired and can easily accommodate the needs of prospective clients. I'm readily available and am very flexible with you and your dog's schedules. I live in my recently renovated condo in the very upscale community of Coral Ridge in Fort Lauderdale. It's a small two-story residence easily accessible to lush parks and magnificent estate homes. We have excellent security with a Neighborhood Watch and private 24 hour Coral Ridge Patrols. Patrolling
About: I have loved all pets since I was little when my grandpa was a vet. I’ve always had dogs growing up and absolutely love taking care of all of them and I’m always looking for a new furry friend I’m currently working part-time and I always have extra time just laying around so I wanted to give myself a little something to do and something that I enjoy! I have 2 dogs of my own and they have a massive yard to run in and absolutely love going on walks that I take them on everyday and I would do the same and care for your pets like they are my own.
“Mafalda amazing sitter! Super communicative, always on time, and truly cared for our pups. She went above and beyond when one of our pups had an accident in the crate—handled everything perfectly. She also spent quality time with them, not just quick visits. We came home to happy dogs and will absolutely book her again!”

Imperial Point pet parents share their Rover experiences
This is Susha's second time acting as Ernie's groomer lol. At least, that's what he says. The boy loves getting brushed (and fed and given treats), and Susha does all that like a pro. Additionally, the house was spotless when I returned. Her communications are great, and I highly recommend Susha as a petsitter. Except, of course, when I'm out of town.

Betzy was AMAZING. She took such good care of my dog Kenji and cat Mogi - she sent me pictures everyday and constantly updated, and with my permission even took Kenji on a bunch of adventures. I think Kenji may have been upset when boring old me replaced Betzy when I get home LOL. Betzy is awesome and I will definitely be hiring her services again for sure :)

This was our first time using Rover, and Cheryl was our pet sitter for our Christmas vacation getaway. We couldn't have asked for a better person to take care of our "babies". She's a lovely woman, great with animals (we have both a dog & cat) and even our neighbors who ran into her regularly said she was wonderful. Very glad we found her and would never hesitate to hire her again in the future. I loved the photos she sent regularly to keep us in the loop, and the house looked great when we got home. 5 star all the way!!
We had a fantastic experience with Gary! Communication was very simple & easy. He spent time making sure he understood how we wanted things done. He kept us posted with pictures. Gary was also very flexible regarding a curve ball we threw him. But most important of all, our dogs loved him!! They are absolutely involved with any sitter selection we make. We had 8 “paws up” from them on Gary. It becomes obvious within seconds of meeting Gary that he’s a dog lover and a kind, gentle, positive person. We recommend him without hesitation and will definitely use him again in the future.
Jessica was awesome with our boys (1 puppy and 1 senior)! She gave great updates and really made sure they were happy and cared for. You can tell she genuinely loves animals. It was such a comfort knowing they were in good hands when I’m not home. Highly recommend!

Josh did a great job with Millie. He was patient and attentive to her needs and she really warmed up to him. He was respectful and professional in my home and he will be my "go-to" when I need someone to house sit with my dog. Very nice and easy to work with and an excellent communicator. I wholeheartedly recommend him without any hesitation.
Rayna was absolutely wonderful! From the very beginning, she was easy to communicate with and made me feel completely at ease leaving my pets in her care. She did a fantastic job keeping me updated on how my dog and cat were doing, sending lots of detailed messages and tons of adorable pictures throughout her stay. It was so comforting to know they were in such good hands while I was away. Rayna is professional, reliable, and clearly loves animals. I’ll definitely be using her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitter!
