He is high-energy, can be stubborn, and takes a long time to warm up to strangers. He can also bark in an intimidating way when he first meets someone. Once he does warm up to someone, he is a total love bug. Well, when Sara started working with us, our dog was kind of difficult, and Sara handled it like a total pro. She is not a dog trainer, but you would totally think she is. She has all the right instincts, and now our dog is obsessed with her. She understood his behavior well and acted accordingly and now when he say “where’s Sara” he goes by the door crying and looking for her. On top of being so good with our dog, Sara is extremely polite, kind, always on time, respectful of our home, and communicates frequently. She always does her best and goes the extra mile. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. (my soul dog’s ashes are in my paw tattoo 🐾🩷) I grew up with Rottweilers and currently have two of my own, Gino & Haus, they're my whole world! I also have a handful of kitties🥰 My passion for animal care goes back as far as I can remember. From baby videos of me crawling on my dog and giving him a big hug & kiss, to completing a veterinary training class in 10th grade, where I learned the basics of animal health and handling! There even was one time I rescued two dogs on the side of the highway who had dug out of their backyard!! I now have about 3.5 years of hands-on experience working with animals, including two years at doggy daycares, where I've cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I treat every pet like they're my own and I always try my best to give them a safe, loving, reliable person they can trust just as much as they trust you, no matter how long it takes them to warm up to me. Working with animals is more than just a job to me—it's what I love, and I plan to make it my lifelong career. I work at a doggy daycare with a flexible schedule, so my availability varies from week to week. I am almost always able to stay overnight for house sitting, and depending on my work schedule, I can spend all day, all morning, or all afternoon and evening with your baby. I always try to spend as much time as I can with your baby. (leaving work is as hard as you can imagine) My most common shift is 1:00 PM–7:00 PM, though I can also work morning, afternoon, and split shifts, though the weekday morning shifts are extremely rare. My weekday shifts are never longer than 6.5 hours, and the only time I may be away for up to 10 hours is on the occasional Saturday when I'm scheduled for a longer shift. On Sundays, I usually work split shifts, which means I'm able to come home and spend about 2½ hours with your pet between work periods. If it's a good fit for your baby and you're comfortable with it (and comfortable paying for it😅), I'd also be happy to talk about bringing them with me to my work so they can enjoy extra socialization, enrichment, and attention, while never leaving my side! I'm committed to keeping your babies routine as normal as possible and will always communicate my schedule ahead of time so you know exactly what to expect!! Your babies safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priority. I love to take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and other special needs so they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away, as if you haven’t even left! I am experienced in administering medications, following food schedules, and providing extremely gentle and personal care. Walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I'll always make sure your baby gets plenty of exercise, attention, playtime, and affection (and making sure they know it!!) while I keep their routine as normal and consistent as I possibly can! I treat every pet as if they were my own, and pay close attention to their behavior so I can quickly notice and respond accordingly with any changes or concerns. You will also always get regular updates and photos about how they were and their day!

About: I have 3 pets of my own that I love so so much (2 cats and a dog). I have always cared for my neighbors pets as they have relied on me for the past few years every now and then. I have experience with both cats and dogs and have been pet sitting locally for 3 or 4 years now. I am comfortable with walking, feeding, and bathing pets. Hopefully you can rely on me to look after your pets this summer! I am currently in college at Duquesne University and am looking for some extra work this summer. I am looking to start work at a daycare part time but not until later so I thought this opportunity would be perfect. I will have plenty of free time until then to look after your pets! I have 2 cats and a dog who are my baby’s. I do not do boarding in my own home due to a temperament issue of our younger cat, but gladly will visit your fur baby’s and care for them that way! I am very trustworthy and can communicate well if there are any issues. I know some animals have dietary restrictions and such and will make sure to follow any instructions of care necessary.

About: I’ve been taking care of my friends and families dogs since middle school - this included taking them out, experience, feeding, etc. I adopted a dog named Luna 2.5 years ago and we have been inseparable ever since ! I am currently working part time at a restaurant so I have plenty of time during the weekdays. I am taking a few credits of online classes but those are all asynchronous so I am very flexible. I want to make sure the dog is comfortable so doing everything I can do ensure that! This means knowing what is expected of me and any particular information about the dog. About: I have taken care of neighbors’, family’s, and friend’s dogs plenty of times before, from small to big dogs. I am very attentive to detail, so I will be able to care for your dog’s individual needs. Most recently, I have cared for a miniature schnauzer puppy, a black lab puppy, and two mid-aged mixed breed dogs. I have additional experience with doodles, king cavalier spaniels, dauschunds, pitbulls, and pugs. I am currently studying to take my physical therapy board examination so I will my schedule is flexible. I am not working at the moment, but hope to get a full-time job after taking my examination at the end of July. A part-time job may be added in the near future. I am willing to feed them, walk them, play with them, let them out to the bathroom, and clean up after them. Whatever they need, I will willingly provide for them. I can easily crate your dog if needed and spent my last semester away at college lifting a lot at the gym, so there need be no worries of the dog walking itself. I enjoy being outdoors when the weather is nice, so if that’s something your pet also enjoys, I am glad to spend time outdoors with them. If they are more the indoor, cuddly type, I am to accompany them in that as well.

My Lucy Goose is a large Golden Retriever with the sweetest, most gentle “little dog energy.” She’s very social, kind, and welcoming, and does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. She has happily shared her space with smaller dogs and special-needs pets, and all interactions are always supervised to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I work during the week for about 6–8 hours a day, and outside of that time my life revolves around walks, fresh air, playtime, and creating a calm, loving home. Pet care fits seamlessly into my schedule, and I’m intentional about making sure every pet in my care gets plenty of attention, affection, and consistency. I treat every pet like they’re my own—learning their quirks, honoring their routines, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. Whether your pet loves long walks, backyard playtime, or quiet companionship, I’m happy to meet them right where they are. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets can truly relax. My home includes a fully fenced backyard for secure outdoor play, and I supervise pets closely throughout the day. I also have a few pup gates to ensure safe calm and private pet feedings or if quiet time is needed. I also use cameras for added peace of mind and awareness while I am out and about.
