About: I've been caring for family and friends' dogs for several years. Currently, I help train future service dogs with canine companions. I also have two sweet dogs of my own whom I love. I'm currently working part-time at the Hendrick Pain Management Clinic. My schedule if pretty routine and I am typically available most evenings and weekends. I am also a full-time nursing student so my schedule during the school year can vary. I live in an apartment with very little yard space and a no animals policy so I would prefer to keep all visits in the clients home.
About: Hey there! My name is Abbie and all 4 years of high school, I was enrolled in the vet program. I worked at a dog groomer/bakery in high school as well. I cared for the dogs, helped the groomers when needed and watched the dogs up front when the owner requested. I also have worked at a dog and cat boarder/daycare. Every morning I would take them outside to the bathroom and let them run around. I fed them on schedule and gave meds as well. In the daycare section, I did the same as well as play with them outside. I would also give them pool time upon the owners request in the summer. For the kitties, I would feed them and give meds. I also would have playtime with them. I have had multiple dogs and cats growing up and took on the responsibilities from a young age. My favorite part was taking them on walks/playtime. About: I’ve been petsitting for my friends and neighbours since I was 12, including administering medication, cleaning messes, housekeeping, and most all other common tasks and chores. About: When I was younger I had my own business taking care of pets and house sitting. I’ve always had dogs in my family since I was born and sleep with them every night. I’ve also always been the “can you wash the dogs” person in my family, so if you need your dog to get a wash when I go see them, I can definitely do that too! There will absolutely be no trouble with taking care of your doggos and cats week days from 11am-4pm and weekends from 12-5pm! At my house I do have a fenced in backyard, and a big neighborhood to walk the dogs through so they get thorough walk time! I also can crate your dog before I leave so they don’t run wild in the house, if you needed that!

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
