About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I love dogs and cats of all kinds, breeds, and sizes. Neighbors, family, friends, and colleagues have trusted me to watch, feed, walk, and play with their furry family. I currently own two cats and have in the past owned small and medium-sized dogs. I have experience caring for senior and special needs fur babies. I am currently available from 10am-6pm Monday-Friday with negotiable availability on weekends. I recently graduated with my Master of Social Work and am looking to make supplemental income while searching for a full time job, however, I am looking to create and sustain lasting pet care relationships. I've worked and have taken care of all types of animals including dogs, cats, birds, small animals, fish, reptiles, amphibians and many more. I also have veterinary experience. During the off-season of my job is when I have the most time for petsitting. Since my seasonal job is only half the year, I dedicate my time to helping others with pet care the other half. For active dogs I will take them out on an adventure each day. I am a daily hiker and hitting the trail with canine friends is one my favorite past times. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
