About: I'm a college student severely missing her family dog. I love spending time around animals and I really enjoy going on ridiculously long walks. I've got years of experience minding my own pets as well as neighbour's and family's.. I'm super flexible at the moment, with free weekdays and weekends. If its an hour you need in the morning or an overnight job, I will most likely be available for either.. Even both on the same day. Unfortunately my apartment is far too small to house any sorts of animals. I'm lucky to be surrounded by many incredible parks such as Darthmouth square which I frequently go to to watch all the dogs play!

About: I’m very empathetic and can pick up on dogs emotions as I’ve had a dog since I was 10 years old. I’m reliable and committed to understanding pet care. I notice different body language and routines and especially health needs. I’m very patient and attentive and I love animals and would love to do it as a job At the moment I do two days in college which are Thursday 9:30-1:30 and Friday 9:30-11:30am. I work doing events and it varies with hours a lot but I would like to do this job and fit it into my daily routine as it’s something more suited to my personality. I’ve been caring for my dog, a 14 year old parson russel terrier since I was 10 years old. Over the years ive handled everything from daily walks and feeding to understanding their changing needs as they’ve gotten older. I make sure he gets plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and love while keeping up with health concerns and vet visits. Caring for my dog Teddy who is now senior has taught me how to adapt to different routines and patience. I spend all of my time with my dog when I’m home and treat him like my bestfriend

About: I’m a huge dog lover and that why I’m always the first person my friends and family turn to when they need a dog sitter. I don’t currently have a dog of my own as I hope to do a lot of travelling over the next few years but in the meantime, I’d be thrilled to offer loving care and attention to your pups, giving them a comfortable and fun experience while you’re away. I’m currently working on a hybrid contract with any 2 days a week in the office and 3 days at home which offers me great flexibility, allowing me to be at home for up to 8 days in a row. I live in a spacious 2 bed apartment in a gated complex where I live with my boyfriend, also a dog lover. There is a large communal garden inside our complex. I’ve also got a car and live just a short drive from places such as dollymount beach and St Anne’s park which has its own dog park.

I am passionate about providing as much comfort and reassurance as possible to both pets and their owners, as I know first hand how valuable the peace of mind can be. I was a Veterinary Technician (Nurse) in Canada for 15 years, specializing in critical care, emergencies, feral/timid animal bonding, pet behavioral issues, and rescue efforts like bottle feeding neonatals and handling/containing contagious diseases. While caring for your pet I will check their physical condition and notify you of any possible health concerns found. I do exceptionally well with timid/shy animals and am able to win over their trust quicker than most through gentle patience and proper physical communication. I can manage any medical conditions, chronic conditions, and treatments that can be done at home, as well as properly identify when and if veterinary attention is needed. I am also very comfortable with all exotic pets like birds, reptiles, and rabbits. I will treat your pet like they are my own as I believe all animal life is a blessing. *Unfortunately I am unable to do overnight stays at this time as my own pets have health conditions that require medication and monitoring.* I am self employed and make my own schedule, so my availability is very flexible. I can be available on short notice and do multiple pop-ins a day. I am unable to care for your pets in my own home, but am comfortable monitoring pets in their own homes. I can provide feedings, medications, walks, socialization, and medical treatments as assigned by your veterinarian.

About: I love dogs and have owned them my entire life, raising them from puppies. I’ve trained, fed, walked, and bathed them many a time, and always give them lots of love and attention. One of my dogs was an amputee, so I also have experience with disabled dogs (including administering oral medications). As a university student, I am free most days this summer and will also be free several days during term time. I’d love to spend my time walking or watching your dogs! About: After having pet dogs in my life since my childhood, I can confidently guarantee my abilities to care for any and all dogs. I've looked after a wide range of dogs from our family's lazy Golden Retriever to our over-active Irish Wolfhound. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to take them with me so I would love the opportunity to spend some time with some dogs and go for walks with them.
