“Louis loved staying with Carla! She helped me out at short notice and was great with Louis. Her dog Dizzy is gorgeous and has a lovely temperament. ”

About: I have loved and looked after dogs all my life; I grew up with Shih Tzus, Yorkies and Alsatians. Our cocker spaniel died a few months ago, and we like minding friends' dogs in our cosy home and garden. There is someone at home most days; our sons are students and come and go at different times. We all love dogs. We would talk to the dog and bring it for walks as requested. The dog can potter around the house and garden and (as long as it's house trained) it can even sleep upstairs if that's what it's used to. I've had dogs all my life: I have seen puppies being born and held dogs as they have died, and everything in between. We swapped dogs with friends rather than use kennels, so I understand people's need for a loving home rather than a bigger facility with routine and rules. We have a walled back garden with plenty of bushes and corners to sniff out. There are three parks nearby, as well as the Dodder. The dog's bed can stay in the kitchen during the day. There is a door to the garden from the kitchen and from the garage. There's also a flap in the garage door so the dog can go in and out by itself.

“Silvana has been minding Leo for a while now and he always has a great time - she sends pics and updates throughout the day and is very reliable.”

About: My name is Dovile, I have had dogs and cats all my life and love taking care of them. Me and my partner Josh live in Dublin with our labrador x cocker spaniel mix Tilly. We work from home and would be happy to take care of your dog. Tilly loves other dogs (and is spayed) so we would love to look after your dog while you are away. We work from home most days and alternate days when we do go into the office so your dog will always be looked after. I am very experienced in dog care, and love to learn new things about them. Josh has also volunteered with the DSPCA. We live close to various parks (St Patrick's Park, Oscar Square, St Stephen's Green, Iveagh Gardens) and love to take long walks with dogs, but will always adapt to your dog's preferences. Making dogs feel loved and cared for is our priority.

“Nathalia is so friendly and accommodating. She was great with our 4 year old Jack Russell. I felt very comfortable leaving Pablo with her. She sent us pictures and updates. She seems to be very trustworthy and to genuinely love dogs. We were so pleased with the whole experience that we asked her to mind Pablo again - this time for an overnight. ”

“Best doggy sitter I could wish for! So caring and patient with my little pup, who still goes through potty training and is a picky eater. Amazing communication, always available to answer any questions, sends photo and video updates throughout the day. Helps me figure things out with my brand new puppy. Respects and follows the same training and house rules that we apply at home! Just an angel! I have full confidence in leaving my baby with Zoe! ”

“Jessica is a great dog minder:) Jessica took great care of beauty and updated me with pictures throughout the day. Beauty was well cared for and had a great time:) I will definitely bring beauty to Jessica in the future 😊 ”

About: My name is Gustavo, My wife and I have been living in Ireland for a few months now, we are from Brazil and we have a dog called Bruce that we were unable to bring with us. I work in a hotel, I love sports, animals and good food. Dogs are like people: each one has its own personality and preferences. I believe that each one has its own type of demand (like some dogs that like their space and others that like to be always stuck to us) and understanding these demands and the dog's personality is crucial to providing a good time away from its owner. Unfortunately, I live in a small house so I don't have the space to accommodate larger breeds. We are currently living in a flat with 1 bedroom, its not big but we have plenty of space for smaller breeds and also we are more then welcome to sleep with the dogs, our street is quiet and nearby the botanical garden.

I love providing a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable and happy, especially when their owners can’t be with them. I live in a quiet home in central Portobello, perfect for pets who need peace and stability. I have experience with dogs of all breeds and temperaments, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own family. For everyone’s safety, I only welcome fully vaccinated pets into my home. My goal is to give your furry friend the best care, companionship, and attention they deserve. I can’t wait to meet your beloved pet and make their time with me joyful and stress-free. Just left a corporate job and I am going after work with my passion in life which is the nature and animals. Full time available to take care of your loved one. About: Hi! My name is Flávia, I am 28, I moved to Ireland in August 2023 for work and just recently I got to know the app! 😍 I have been passionate about dogs for as long as I can remember. Within a month with the app I got my regulars and knowing they will come to spend some hours/ days with me, it brightens my days! 🐶 I grew up in Brazil surrounded by dogs because my father has always been a protector and rescuer of animals in need. When I was 17, we founded our own dog rescue NGO, where we cared for over 300 dogs at a time and have helped more than 1,000 dogs over the years. Taking care of dogs has always been a big part of my life, and I truly miss having one around. That’s why I would love to take care of your pet, giving them all the love and attention they deserve while you’re away. With me, your dog will feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I only accept vaccinated dogs and always make sure to follow their routine to minimize stress. If you're looking for someone trustworthy and passionate about animals, I’d be happy to help. Please, let me know what time best suits you for drop offs and pick ups. *For overnights* - Drop offs are usually after 15h and pick ups before lunch time 12h. *For day care* - drop offs are usually after 8h30am and pick ups before 17h30h. If you need to drop them off earlier and/or pick them up later, there will be an extra charge. Thanks for understanding :) I work full-time, with two remote days per week, which gives me flexibility to be present and responsive when caring for dogs. I always do my best to adapt my routine to theirs, ensuring they feel comfortable, relaxed, and loved throughout their stay. Knowing I’ll have dogs around brightens my days, and I’m happy to provide boarding, daycare, or just a few hours of company—whatever fits your pup’s needs! Caring for dogs has been part of my life since childhood—I co-founded a rescue NGO in Brazil that cared for hundreds of dogs, and I’ve brought that same compassion and responsibility to my current home in Ireland. I only accept vaccinated dogs, always follow each pet’s routine to reduce stress, and create a calm, loving environment. Whether your dog prefers playtime or quiet naps, I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and at home. Drop-off and pick-up times are flexible with prior arrangement, and I’m happy to discuss what works best for you.

About: We are a couple living in Dublin, and we both share a love for animals, particularly dogs and cats. Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of taking care of various pets, gaining hands-on experience in feeding, walking, and ensuring they feel comfortable and loved in different environments. I work from home so I take care of the pets all day and enjoy to go for long walks. From playful pups to more reserved felines, we’ve developed a keen understanding of their unique needs and personalities. Having pets around has always brought us immense joy, and we truly enjoy the companionship they provide. This has also motivated us to continue offering our help to others who may need someone trustworthy to look after their furry family members. We just moved to a nice apartment in Cork Street (20min walking from Phoenix Park). If you need more information just let me know!

About: I am a pet enthusiast, have always pets, mostly dogs and cats. I love to take my dogs to parks, trips, camping, and anywhere they are happy. Your pet will be our guest not only at our home but also on flurries adventures! I am currently at home, some freelance activities but mostly at home. My wife work from home most of the days and will support on care. My flat has door to the elevador, the pet does not access outdoor without me. I always use leash to walk around, only on fenced dog park I let them free.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life — at one point, my family had six dogs at the same time, and three of them were senior dogs. This gave me a lot of hands-on experience with caring for older pets, including giving medication, helping with mobility, and making sure they felt comfortable and loved. I’m originally from Brazil and moved to Ireland eight years ago. I haven’t been able to have a dog of my own here, but I miss my dogs from home deeply. That’s why I’m always happy to take care of my friends’ dogs and treat them as if they were mine. What sets me apart is the time and attention I can give — I’m currently not working, so I’m available to look after your dog full time, providing them with care, companionship, and lots of affection throughout the day. I currently have a very flexible schedule, as I’m not working at the moment. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care throughout the day and week. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping your pet company, I can easily adapt to their routine and make sure they get the attention and care they need. I’m available on weekdays and weekends, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule to suit your pet’s habits and preferences. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in the owner’s home, I always prioritise their safety, comfort, and well-being. I live in a penthouse apartment with a large terrace where pets can enjoy fresh air in a secure space. There’s also a big shared garden at the back of the building, perfect for some outdoor time. I love taking pets for walks in nearby parks and making sure they get plenty of exercise and stimulation. When I care for a pet in their own home, I follow the owner’s routine closely to help the pet feel relaxed and safe in their familiar environment. In both cases, I keep the space clean, calm, and free of anything that could be harmful. I also stay in regular contact with the owner, sending updates and photos to keep them reassured while they’re away.

With plenty of room for everyone, I ensure both my cats and visiting dogs feel comfortable and safe, whether they’re interacting or simply enjoying their own space. My home is a haven for both feline and canine companions!

Naria D.

“Naria was lovely to deal with. She brought me into the house so we could get Minnie settled and was so accommodating. She sent me updates to reassure me that Minnie was settling in well. Great communication. We will be back!”
