I had spoken to many people and wasn’t comfortable with anyone as I had my prior dog walker in Ny for over 10 years. I found Tanika and she and I hit it off right away: she was super accommodating to my ever changing schedule. I was nervous to have my one rescue dog meet anyone because he could be unpredictable. Tanika came armed with treats and was relaxed and so easy going with all the dogs that he took to her first!!!! Tanika had been above and beyond amazing . She helps with my dogs that have medical issues and she is always there when and if I need her. She takes care of my dogs as if they were her own and I’ve never had to worry about them when I’m away. She is an absolute god send and I highly recommend her!”

About: I take the time to bond with each pet and treat them with the same care I’d give my own. I’m dependable, communicative, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I focus on making every visit stress-free and enjoyable for both the pet and the owner. I’m currently a full time chiropractic student, my schedule allows me to be pretty open either by 12pm or at the latest 3pm. My schedule changes week to week but I’m pretty flexible! In the client’s home, I make sure to follow their pet’s routine exactly—this includes feeding times, walk schedules, playtime, and any specific instructions. I aim to keep their environment calm and consistent to reduce stress. I also keep the home tidy and send regular photo updates for peace of mind.

About: I have had experience with caring for animals my whole life. I have experience training puppies and older dogs as well. I am well experienced with senior dogs! I also have experience in grooming/bathing different breeds of dog, if that is something you would be interested in. I am experienced with cats, horses, guinea pigs and a variety of reptiles. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter, caring for several cats and dogs. I have also completed veterinary science/ animal science classes to learn more about animals in general. About: I have taken care of my own current dog, Mack, since I was 12. I've had several other family dogs in the past that I have helped raise and train as well, I've taken care of other people's animals before, and I have always truly loved all animals. ❤️ I love to walk dogs, or cats! I can also bathe, feed, and make sure your pet has the best care. I am currently available to take care of your pet at any point this summer! I have worked part-time at Petsense and I currently work at Tractor Supply, but I will work around my schedule at any point to try and help you with your fur babies! Personally, I treat my dog like he is my baby. About: What sets me apart and why the pricing is slightly higher than most. Your fur baby will be on vacation too, we walk at least twice a day not short walks all the way up too 2.5 miles dependent on their level of exercise. We play fetch and we snuggle. I provide numerous toys from stuffed to indestructible to accommodate their toughness, let me love on your babies and leave you worry free. I love sending updates (the more the merrier) the genuine care and attention I give to every pet as if they were my own. With experience caring for both playful puppies and gentle senior dogs, I understand the unique needs that come with every stage of life. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to details I also have a background in healthcare, which has taught me the importance of responsibility, routine, and compassion,qualities that I bring into every pet-sitting experience. I’m available for boarding Monday through Sunday. About: I've been working with dogs since I was 9 years old. It started at a summer camp located at my local shelter and at home with our own dogs. At 18 I helped foster 2-week-old kittens that were born in our front yard and abandoned by their mom. I have worked with many different dogs and have been house sitting since I was 16 years old with different types of dogs and different care levels, from needing to give elderly dogs medication to hyper puppies who need lots of play time. I fit in Pet care into my daily routine by waking up at a specific time every morning to take care my own dog out for a morning potty break, then it is breakfast time, then an hour after is a morning walk, after I have lunch is a shorter afternoon walk and before dinner is an evening walk, with several potty breaks scattered reasonably every 3 hours to make sure. Sometimes I take my own dog on small hikes or to the dog park to get some more socialization in. Outside of my hobbies and schooling pet care is my life. This does depend on what I am hired for, if I am hired for potty breaks and play time then I do just that, I arrive at the home, let the dog out to go potty, take a walk play with some toys. If I am housesitting, then I follow the schedule the owners have their dogs on as to not disrupt the dog's stability.

About: I have had animals my whole life and love them!! I currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I care for them along with many animals of my friends and family. I have a wide variety of experience from all sizes, breeds, and ages. I promise to love your animal just as they were mine:) I am a nursing student at EKU and I am just looking for something that will allow me to balance my school schedule as well. I have a pretty open schedule except for Tuesday’s and Thursdays which I am not available from 8:00am-4:00pm due to classes. I am not able to be at home with my animals so why not accompany the ones around me😊 I pretty much do whatever the client wants me to do or what the animal is used to. I do not crate my animals at home due to someone always being in the household with them but am understanding of any demands or routines.
