Dogs will not interact with livestock (chicken, ducks and sheep, etc) but get the fun of seeing them. Your dog will be outside a lot and get great exercise. However, from this experience, they will come back healthy, well-exercised and happy. I would be delighted to use Allison again”

About: Throughout most of my life my family has had cats. For a long time when I moved to the country, we only had one cat that was outside most of the time, his name was Henry and he was so sweet. However, after he passed, we adopted two beautiful baby kittens a few months later, Teddy and June! Me and my siblings helped raise those tiny kittens to the big beautiful fur balls they are now and they are the most loving and sweetest cats we have ever had for our family. I also help take care of cats through the humane society at my job at Petsense, I do my best to visit the local humane societies as often as I can to love on all the kitty babies. I got stuck in Texas for an additional two days because all planes were grounded we finally decided to drive the 17 hours home. About: I’ve taken care of dogs practically my whole life. It’s one of my greatest passions and most of my life I would dogsit for anyone who would let me growing up. I would love to make sure all of the animals are safe and well cared for while their owners are gone. The only days of the week where I’m out for more than 3 hours is Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am at home otherwise, the more time I have with your pet, the better! A 3,000 gallon Koi pond surrounded by 800 square feet of deck. Nice plush outdoor furniture for the dogs to lounge next to the pond after a drink. We have also built a 200 square foot doggie palace on our property. Full electricity with heating/air and additional ceiling fan. Great for rainy days or dogs who are lone rangers and/or feisty.

Every morning before work I make sure all of my animals have food and water, as well as making sure my dogs get all of their daily vitamins and dental sticks. Additionally my dogs get monthly flea/tick prevention and heart worm prevention. Right now this will just be a part time job but I am hoping to expand and make this my full time and only job. Currently I have open availability on weekends as well as morning and night availability throughout the week. Caring for pets is a big responsibility and I take pride in knowing animals will be safe with me. At the beginning of booking with me I would set up a meet and greet to make sure your pets are comfortable with me. After doing so, we would begin services. During services I will make sure to closely monitor your pets, keep them leashed while not in a fenced in area, keep away from road ways and other - potentially dangerous animals. I would also ensure timely medication, feeding, and watering schedules.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a little kid. I grew up with a Yorkie named Simon. Then I adopted my first dog, Sam. She gave me loads of experience in pet ownership and many life lessons. Sam had epilepsy, so I am very skilled in taking care of medically complicated pets. I currently have two dogs: Bella (6 year old hound mix) and Eloise (6 month old Golden Retriever). I am a teacher from August-May. I teach from 8am-3pm and I have no other obligations outside of that. I am of course willing to provide care before 8am and right when I leave school at 3pm. Both of my dogs are crate trained and friendly towards other dogs. For drop in care, I will follow all required and requested directions from the owner. This includes all feeding, potty, medication, grooming, and play needs!
About: I've been working with dogs since I was 9 years old. It started at a summer camp located at my local shelter and at home with our own dogs. At 18 I helped foster 2-week-old kittens that were born in our front yard and abandoned by their mom. I have worked with many different dogs and have been house sitting since I was 16 years old with different types of dogs and different care levels, from needing to give elderly dogs medication to hyper puppies who need lots of play time. I fit in Pet care into my daily routine by waking up at a specific time every morning to take care my own dog out for a morning potty break, then it is breakfast time, then an hour after is a morning walk, after I have lunch is a shorter afternoon walk and before dinner is an evening walk, with several potty breaks scattered reasonably every 3 hours to make sure. Sometimes I take my own dog on small hikes or to the dog park to get some more socialization in. Outside of my hobbies and schooling pet care is my life. This does depend on what I am hired for, if I am hired for potty breaks and play time then I do just that, I arrive at the home, let the dog out to go potty, take a walk play with some toys. If I am housesitting, then I follow the schedule the owners have their dogs on as to not disrupt the dog's stability.

When caring for pets in the home of my clients, it’s important to remember that the little one that I’m caring for is likely stressed because their mom and/or dad are gone, and there is a stranger (me) in their home. With that in mind, I typically spend more time with them than what is required by Rover because they need the extra time to feel comfortable with me. I take time to try to get to know them and help them feel more at ease. I treat them with the same amount of compassion I want for my own!
About: I have taken care of my own current dog, Mack, since I was 12. I've had several other family dogs in the past that I have helped raise and train as well, I've taken care of other people's animals before, and I have always truly loved all animals. ❤️ I love to walk dogs, or cats!
