About: I lost my amazing furry child and co-pilot recently. I miss the walks, play time, and just being with one another, Animals are so therapeutic in the scheme of life in many ways. I welcome sharing a walk with your furry child, or stopping by to check in. I have had dogs and cats most of my life. At this time I welcome the opportunity to share some time and love with others. I could do early afternoon/evening walks. Some weekends available as well. This is new, so just inquiring to see if others may be where I once was finding challenges looking for a reliable person for pet care. I am happy to go to your home and walk your dog in their familiar neighborhood. I am happy to pick your dog up and go for a beach romp/walk. I am happy for you to bring your dog to my home and I have a fenced in area, a nice neighborhood for walking. I just lost my dog of 12 1/2 years recently. I am not about to jump into getting another dog at all... she'll never be replaced. But there is definitely a void and I thought this would be a nice balance. I have a welcoming space to offer.

I care for pets by walking them and staying at clients’ homes, always following their routine to keep them happy and safe. I make sure to keep my phone charged and maintain great communication, sending photos to update pet parents on how their pets are doing.

“Kaitlyn did a great job with Lexi and LuLu! Thank you we didn’t worry about them and had a great time!!”

About: I've always loved and been the go-to person for friends, family, and neighbors when they need a reliable pet-sitter. Since I was 12 years old I've watched big and small dogs, making sure they get fed, walked, and played with until their parents return. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies and providing a safe, fun environment while you're away. I'm currently a full-time student (some in-person classes, some online/remote) so there are a few times I'll have to be on campus. Besides that I am fully available. I like to feed and walk at the same time every day. On walks I prefer to use a harness instead of a collar, and I airways avoid dog parks.

About: I have always loved animals and grown up with them. I have experience with all species of animals and many breeds. I currently have a very friendly and lazy rescue pit of my own. I am reliable and flexible and would love to help care for you fur babies. I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes and have a vehicle large enough for most dogs (a Ford Escape for reference). I am understanding of people’s beeds and changing schedules so you never have to worry if something comes up or changes. I have a pretty free schedule and love going on walks. I also have experience with cats, small pets, and farm animal such as cows or horses. Willing to work with all. Thank you. I work as a farmhand and knitting instructor for children. I’m very lucky that this allows me many open hours. I am available Tuesdays after 2; Wednesdays prior to 130 Thursdays prior to 130; Fridays prior to 1. I am also available for evening after 6 on all weekdays. I am willing to do occasional weekends. I will not be offering my own home for care due to stress on my own animals. I am willing to do check ins at a clients house.

About: I grew up always having a dog and other pets in our home. I absolutely love animals! When I was 19 I got my first dog on my own, Kyla she was a yellow lab and the love of my life. I currently have 2 Belgian Malinois- Cali and Bruin. I've worked training with them and another German Shepherd. I've also volunteered with MSPCA in the past. I would love to help in any way needed to keep your four legged friend happy and safe. I am experienced in many different breeds of dogs. Whether it's puppies or elderly dogs I have experience with both and I always care for them as I do my own! Walking, running, playing, feeding, brushing, cleanup or even belly rubs! I love caring for animals! :) I am currently working part-time as a PCA, doing in home private care. Prior, I was full-time for 10 years with a woman who suffered a TBI. I am very flexible with my daily schedule as I can move my work hours around to fit my dog's clients needs. I don't bring dog's I am caring for to my house, as mine get too worked up! I can care for pet's in their home/yard and walk them from there. I also take some dogs to different trails, hikes, and dog parks. All up to the owner's preference! I am happy to do what works best :)

“My boys liked Sharon right away. I could tell immediately she was a dog lover. She was kind and gentle but firm with them as well. Great job!”

About: I have many years experience with dog sitting, boarding, and walking. I have references from my past clients to provide to you. I believe I have a strong intuition for animals, which helps me to be attuned to their needs. I just love being around animals, so it brings me great joy to help pets and their owners alike. I have experience in both long term and short term stays. I have experience in long term stays from a month onward. If you go somewhere for the winter or have to be away for a while, I include house care into the stay. When I am pet sitting, I provide intensive care for the animals. We go on two long walks a day, or more if wanted/needed and if that is something the pet is interested in doing. I will provide play for them, and going out as frequently as they need/want. They will have their daily meals and fresh water. I have a day job, so I am best suited for those pets who are okay being alone during the day for about 6 hours. In the clients home, I care for the pets by following the pet's routine. and will talk at lengths with the home owners to get to know the environment and how the animals operate in the home, such as where and how they get let out ie if they can roam free in their yard etc, where they go for walks, what times of the day they eat etc . When boarding, it is the same, except I take them out on a leash at all times for extra care and precaution.

Mary L.
“I have known Mary as a dog lover and caregiver for more than 20 years. She rescued a dog of mine that had to be removed from my home because she needed to be in a one dog home. Mary retrained that dog and she lived the best life any dog could ever have. Mary even worked with her to be a cat lover! Any pet would be lucky to have Mary as a caregiver.”

Kathryn B.
“Kathryn is an incredibly responsible and loving pet caregiver. She’s stayed overnight at our home, taken our dog on daily walks, and arranged fun playdates. Her genuine care and attention shine through in every detail from meal routines to cozy bedtime snuggles. My pup’s excitement the moment Kathryn arrives says it all, he absolutely adores her! I wholeheartedly recommend her for anyone who wants a sitter who truly loves and nurtures pets.”

Kaitlyn R.

Michael B.
“100 present trust is hard to come by…but that’s exactly what we have in Michael. Not only do I completely trust Michael with our sweet dog Bailey, but she is always so excited when he is around. She’s a senior dog and, having several aging issues, we don’t want to kennel her, so having someone like Michael to look after her in our absence is our perfect solution. I can’t say enough positive things about Michael. Bailey loves him and so do we!”

Paige N.
“Paige stayed with my injured English Pointer while I went out for a few hours to see a play. I know Paige as a colleague and have been very impressed with her attention to detail and superior customer service. Through our conversations, it is more than evident that she is an avid animal lover. I did not hesitate to have her stay in my home to monitor and care for Jackson who is recovering from a corneal injury. While I was away, Paige needed to administer medication, help him eat and drink and take him out for a bathroom break. Jackson is wearing a cone and has to be kept calm to help his injury heal. Not a small feat to accomplish with a high energy 70 lb dog. Before I left, Paige asked detailed questions about his care. While I was away, she sent a photo and info about Jackson. I would strongly recommend Paige as your #1 pet care person. She is wonderful with animals and personable and caring with their human parents!”
Hyannis Port dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jacquie did a good job dropping in on my dog Phoebe today and making sure she got her walks, had water and access to her food. I came home to a happy, well cared for dog. Also, glad to see that she finally ate and licked her bowl clean. 🙂🐶

Karissa did a great job with our anxious babies. The pics she sent allowed us to enjoy a beach day stress free ;) thank you Karissa!!

My first time using Rover and I was fortunate to select the perfect sitter for my Lab Charlie Brown. Margie was great on all accounts- very easy to work with, responsive, trustworthy and knowledgeable about Labs. I like the way she communicates and would highly recommend Margie and will definitely use her again.
