“Nicole took such good care of my boy Sunshine. She went above and beyond to help him spend his first week away from me including helping him with eating and sleeping anxiety. She sent me messages and pics or videos every day to let me know how he was doing. He was clearly having a ton of fun playing with her sweet pups in her lovely and safe back yard and her cozy home. She is a true dog lover and Sunshine came home happy and exhausted! I will definitely contact her again in the future.”

“This was the first time using Kristi for boarding my dog. She took me on a tour of the kennel and explained her services before I left my dog. She sent updates during my week of boarding. I would not hesitate to leave my dog with her in the future.”

“This was my very first time boarding my 11-year-old Shih Tzu, Biscuit. I originally booked only 2 nights with Kristi but ended up extending for another night because my plans were disrupted by traffic and an accident on the way back from Chicago to Ohio. Kristi is very accommodating, and I can honestly say that her whole family took excellent care of Biscuit. She constantly kept me updated with texts, photos, and videos of Biscuit, which made me feel very at ease. Thank you so much, Kristi! I will definitely contact you again to board Biscuit with you!”

“Eido started yipping and barking as soon as we turned on the street to Tina's house. He knew where he was going and I wasn't driving fast enough. LOL! He is always so excited to stay with Tina and her pups and didn't even care when I was trying to say goodbye. The next day he came home so tired from all the fun. Tina is most excellent! I know my boy is loved and cared for. Thank you!!”
“They took great care of my pup, checked in with updates, and ensured she god along with their German Shepherd great! Definitely recommend Devan and will be boarding with him again!”

“Shadow had such an AWESOME, WILD, AND WONDERFUL STAY-CATION, while I was away, in Tampa, FL over the July 4th Holiday... Gracie #SAVED the day, my trip & flight plan(s) itinerary changed significantly prior to leaving, and what I needed was a safe, secure, reliable, Dog Boarder's location -Surprise Bonus if S/he Also has a heart with a Sweet | Soft | Special Spot for "Big Dogs." (Psssstt, She & her Husband Both Do!) Anyways, As a result, of being able to fly down to Tampa, Florida and visit with my Brother & Sister-in-law, my Nephew & Lil Niece,.... ...Shadow and I are working -As Fast as humanly possible- on becoming the newest addition of our own personal family chapter in/around Tampa, FL.... ... And, it's ALL THANKS TO GRACIE [ & Her Helpful Hubby]... ...that I was even able to visit Tampa, ..LET ALONE, immediately seek out new residency in the Sunshine State !!”
“I cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Amanda. She watched our 2 dogs this week, 2 separate times that we needed to travel overnight. You can tell she genuinely adores every dog she cares for and she is so great about sending updates and pictures. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for peace of mind when they have to be away from their fur babies.”

“Schyler was amazing with our timid Maggie. She was flexible in dropping off and picking up times. She was patient with Maggie, who because of 3 months of neglect, is afraid of most of life. I was able to see how Maggie was doing by Schyler’s updates, and when I picked Maggie up, you could see how relaxed she was to be with Schyler.”

“Emily was fantastic with our dogs! She was so organized, kept us updated on the boys, and her set up for them was phenomenal. It gave us such peace of mind that they were safe, well cared for, and happy. I did not have a single worry when they were with her and I will absolutely be booking with her again. Thanks Emily!”

About: I’m a pet lover who enjoys spoiling and sending back home ;). Unfortunately, my work schedule does not align with the love and care a pet would need full time right now which is why this is perfect for us all! I will only provide boarding for a single pet unless they come from the same family home so they will have all of my attention! I love walks so if your pup does too then it’s a perfect match! You won’t need to worry about your pet on vacation because I promise they will be vacationing themselves! On the days of availability I will be home full time with all attention available to your pet! I only provide care to one pet at a time (unless they are coming from the same household) so they will be very spoiled! I love walks so if your pet does too, we are a perfect match! I have a fenced in yard and do not have any animals in the house. Your dog will have access to the inside and outside. They do need to be trained but I do also keep in mind that accidents happen.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my whole life and love providing a safe living home where your animals feel loved and safe. I work from home as a software developer and have plenty of free time to give your fur babies the attention they need. Call me!! We have a full basement with plenty of room to run and play. We also have a backyard that we put our dogs and yours on a leash tethered to the fence to keep them from roaming. Also take frequent walks to stretch their legs!!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
