“Gabriel did an absolute outstanding job! We will always be choosing Gabriel to look after/ walk our babies! Gabriel was very considerate and communicative, he'd always send pictures and videos. He's all around a really great guy! Loved this opportunity to have him as my dog walker!”

About: Hi there! I’m a big animal lover and I would love to take care of your fur baby. I'm available weekdays as well as weekends. I live 5 minutes away from a park so going for little run or a nice walk will always be something fun to do. If you plan on leaving your dog with me more than one night I'm totally comfortable with that. We have a nice fenced in play area at the apartment complex for the dogs to run around. I am willing to take your dog to get groomed or bathed if your schedule is too busy. I'm your go to girl. If your dog is ready for some adventure then let's get this party started. Thank you. I work mornings full time from 7am-3pm. I’m free on Fridays and every other weekend. I always go home on my lunch break to check on my pets. My pets are allowed all over the house, they sleep in bed with me, and I let them on the couch as well. They are my roommates and have the same privileges as me lol
“Very polite and professional, will definitely be a returning client for Kari! She walked my chocolate lab named Hiccup even though it started to rain. Thank you so much!”

About: I treat every pet like family, providing personalized care, dependable service, and plenty of love and attention so owners can have peace of mind while they're away. I've spent years caring for pets for family, friends, and neighbors, giving me hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, and following specific routines to meet each pet's needs. I am currently home for the summer from college, so i can be available whenever it is needed! Pet care can be fitted in my daily routine while i am home. I prioritize each pet's safety, comfort, and happiness by following their routine, providing plenty of attention and exercise, and keeping owners updated with photos and messages throughout their stay.
About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I have experience with small dogs and big dogs. I have gone through puppy kindergarten classes with my dog as well. I have taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, Guinea pigs, birds and bearded dragons. Pet care fits into my routine as I am pretty flexible on weekends, so that I can let them out frequently. I work as an instructional assistant for an elementary school. I can care for animals before and after work as well as my lunch breaks. I follow the school schedule and get holidays and breaks off as well. I prefer staying in the clients home so that the pets can stay in their comfort zone and as close to their normal routine. With that said, I am also very flexible. I can stay in the home, offer drop in visits or care for them in my home. Whatever the client prefers.
“Joe is helping me out big time with my baby Joey. I am using him recurringly so Joey can get some exercise midday. I would highly recommend. Joey looks forward to going on walks with Joe.”

About: I know it can be nerve racking to find someone you can trust to take care if your pet like you would. That’s why I started pet sitting! I want to provide peace of mind to owners by providing the same routine for your pet and updating you daily. I have experience caring for all types of animals; dogs, cats, chickens and reptiles. All sizes, special diets, oral medications, whatever care your pet’s need! If you have a dog or cat that doesn’t “like” people, I’m your girl! I am a full time student at Ball State which makes my schedule pretty flexible throughout the week and weekend to be able to drop in on your pet. I will care for your home like I would care for mine. I’ll make sure windows and doors are locked before leaving. Ensuring your pet is secure and comfortable! When you return, you’ll never know that I was there. Everything will be as you left it or better!
About: I have been a regular pet sitter for friends, family, and coworkers since I was a teenager. I have experience with large or small dogs, elderly dogs, cats, and pets that need medication or other accommodations. I have experience with dog-sitting for up to two weeks at a time. This has sometimes included, but is not limited to, administering medication, cleaning up messes inside and outside, walking, feeding, and bathing. Ensuring the safety, health, and happiness of each pet I take care of is my top priority and it is one of my favorite things to do in the world! I do not have the same schedule weekly, so I will constantly update my availability. I only know my availability up to 3 weeks in advance. Unless I have to work very early the next day, I am available for overnights at least 3 days a week (typically). I am unable to have pets at my house because I live with a family member’s dog that does not do well with other animals. Please give me any and all instructions! I will make sure to follow any routine that I can for your pet to be comfortable. I will provide as many updates/photos as requested.
“I found Lorrie on Rover when I needed someone to walk my Emmee after my foot surgery. She did such a wonderful job!! Emmee took to her right away. Lorrie showed such love to my baby. I knew she was safe. I wouldn't hesitate to ask Lorrie to care for my Emmee again! Nancy T. Fishers, IN”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
