“Abbey housesat for my two dogs while our family went on a cruise. I was nervous because this was the first time anyone has cared for our pets outside of family. Leo & Laney took to her right away. She made two visits to the home before staying for the week, I appreciated this, so she could get to know the dogs before hand. We touched base while we were away and she sent pictures and provided updates. She communicated well with whatever was going on. I feel very comfortable having Abbey sit with my dogs and would definitely have her stay again. Most importantly our dogs are like family and they were very happy while we were away.”

About: I have cared for many different breeds of dogs. Whether that be just feeding, to training and grooming. I have had my personal pets for over 10 years. I have a very open schedule and I am open most of the time. I could fulfill a full or part-time schedule for any owners in need. I have a fenced in yard. My dogs eat off a feeding schedule. I have also potty trained all of my dogs. I bathe my dogs once a week as well to keep them not matted and promote hair and skin health.

“Zoe is great with my 2 dogs (Shih Tzu and Belgian Malinois). She makes sure my 2 yr old Malinois gets plenty of exercise, taking him for long walks and throwing the ball for what seems like hours. He is a very strong puppy and she is able to control him very well during walks. At the same she manages to give my very lazy Shih Tzu tons of love and attention.”

“Michelle owns two dogs, and is currently fostering one for a friend in need. Prior to fostering she rescued a German Shepherd from an abusive home, and after seeking a routine medical check discovered he was dying. Regardless, she and her boyfriend did not give up on him. They continued to pay for treatments and do everything in their power to comfort him until his last day. On that last day, she called me as her heart shattered holding him as he crossed the rainbow bridge. Michelle send me videos and pictures of her dogs daily. She trains in basic obedience and love knows no bounds when it comes to her four legged friends. I would trust her with any of my dogs.”

About: *I will sit intact animals. Rover won’t let me turn that preference off* I have owned dogs my whole life and a passion for animals has always been an integral personality trait. I’ve been a volunteer at The Animal Protection League in Anderson for nearly a year and enjoy it dearly. I offer entry level puppy and adult dog training, walking, hiking, running, or cuddling (if your dog is more that speed). I currently have three senior dogs and understand senior pet needs. I’m currently a student with no other jobs, so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your pup! I will update with my current class schedule soon. From volunteering at the shelter, I have been around many different types of dogs and know how to read their body language. Respecting space goes a long way with dogs. Depending on your house rules, I will find ways to adequately care for your dog and can even drive them to the park for walks if you would like!
