“This was our first boarding experience with our one year old pup Scarlett, and it went very well. While it was hard to leave our girl for a week, we knew she would be in good hands. We did a meet and greet a couple weeks earlier, and she took to Karen and Donald immediately. They were kind and professional. They have a good set up for dogs and very dedicated to their care. We brought Scarlett's crate, food, toys, and snacks- a lot of stuff, but she had her familiar comforts. She got to play in the yard frequently, befriend another pup, and have lots of cuddle time and treats. Karen and Donald were great about sending updates, and it comforted me to know Scarlett was having a good time. We would be a repeat customer for future trips. While they have their purpose, I was so happy she didn't have to go to a kennel and got to be with very nice people.”

About: My husband and I are animal lovers in general and dog lovers in particular. We always worry when boarding our own dogs and, now that we've retired, we wanted to provide a "home like" boarding service for other dog lovers. We have 2 rooms dedicated for the dogs to roam free. Sofa for lounging and television or music available during their stay. Bright sunlight and large windows. We have a large kennel that is outside and the dogs are free to come and go through a doggie door in our kitchen. We have many years experience caring for dogs and our family currently includes 2 bichon Frise. They are both peaceful and friendly and love meeting new dog friends. We wanted to provide a reasonably priced animal boarding service close to home. We are located in Hunlock Creek, 25 minutes from Dallas or Wilkes-Barre, 15 minutes from Nanticoke. Drop off time is anytime from 9AM on and Pick up time is by noon or you must schedule another day. If special times are needed let us know. We will also board birds and small pets at a lower rate. Ask us. Please visit us to see our home ! We are retired and available most days full time - check the calendar. All boarders roam free during the day and sleep on floor or in bed you provide at night. Feedings and treats on daily schedule. Daily exercise in yard if good weather. Dogs roam our secured house freely. Will either be on leash or on zip run if in yard. If dogs need to be separated we have a room we use for that purpose. If your dog likes to sleep in kennel please bring with you or we will provide a kennel or cage (extra fee).
