About: Hi! I’m Jen — a lifelong animal lover with over 4 years of hands-on experience working at an animal shelter, plus many additional months caring for dogs and other animals on a small farm property. If there’s one thing I truly understand, it’s dogs. Especially the shy, anxious, and misunderstood ones. They hold a very special place in my heart! There is no greater feeling than earning the trust of a dog who needs a little extra patience and understanding. At the shelter I worked with every type of dog imaginable, from easygoing family pups to dogs with more complex needs due to past trauma. I was trusted to walk and handle even the more anxious or sensitive dogs, helping them build confidence and learn to trust new people. I’m very comfortable reading dog body language and adjusting my approach so each dog feels safe, respected, and understood. One of the dogs I worked closely with, Donald, needed a trusted handler present while new volunteers learned how to walk him safely, and I helped train others so he could get the exercise and enrichment he deserved. I also helped start enrichment initiatives at the shelter, including treat puzzles, mental stimulation games, and a “dog play buddy” program to give the dogs additional socialization and activity. One of my most special experiences there was helping care for a mama dog who gave birth to a litter of 10 (10!) puppies. I helped care for and socialize those puppies as they grew until they were ready for their forever homes. I also have experience caring for senior animals and understand that older pets often need a little extra patience, gentleness, and attention to their comfort and routine. Beyond dogs, I also have experience caring for cats and bunnies. Over the past few months I’ve helped care for my landlady’s 1yo kitty, and I’m very comfortable providing drop-in care and pet sitting for cats and small animals as well. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting/boarding and I treat every animal like they’re my own. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality, comfort level, and body language so they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. I’m always happy to send updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is simple: every animal I care for should feel safe, so very loved, and understood. Pet care is my primary focus, so my daily routine is built around providing consistent, hands-on care. I structure my day to include regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, exercise, enrichment, and downtime, depending on each pet’s needs. I’m home for the majority of the day, which allows me to provide a high level of supervision and attention. Pets are rarely left alone for extended periods, and I’m able to adjust my schedule to support different energy levels, routines, and personalities. Whether a dog needs more activity and engagement or a calm, low-stress environment, I’m able to tailor my day to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I care for every pet based on who they are — not just a one-size-fits-all routine. I pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and comfort cues so pets feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. In my home, dogs stay on a fully fenced 10-acre farm property where they can safely explore, play, and decompress. All outdoor time is supervised, and I’m intentional about creating a balanced environment — active play for dogs who love it, and plenty of quiet downtime for those who don’t. I have a friendly Mini Goldendoodle and a very mellow senior pup in the home, and I take introductions slowly and thoughtfully. I’m always prepared to separate or crate dogs if needed to keep everyone comfortable and safe. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to your routines and preferences so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. I keep things calm, consistent, and predictable, which is especially important for anxious or sensitive animals. I’m very comfortable with a wide range of personalities, including dogs who need a little extra patience or structure, and I pride myself on creating an environment where pets can relax and just be themselves.

About: I’ve taken care of family and friends pets for as long as I can remember! Me and my girlfriend have this rover page together as we host and care for all pets together!! She is a nurse and I work in maintenance meaning we both have very flexible and open schedules- especially during the week!! We have a 8 month old golden retriever puppy who we got when she was eight weeks old. She is fully crate, trained, and potty trained. She’s super sweet with everybody and loves all animals( even our cats)! We feel confident, taking care of a variety of pets and have experience in senior dog care, puppy stages, and everything in between!! as mentioned above I have a very flexible schedule ! I’m open most timings and most days! I love taking them on walks and playing with them! My puppy loves whenever anybody comes over!! I will try to make my schedule around the dog- trying to maintain a safe environment and keep them in their typical and normal routines !

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since my family adopted our first family dog, Estella, in 2018. Since then, I've accumulated hundreds of hours of walking time, helped train Estella and our current family dog, Jade, learned to listen to their needs (when they need pets, outside time, play time, etc.), and, of course, gained experience cleaning up dozens of messes. Over the years I have also been relied on to cat-sit and dog-sit for two families when they were out of town. I am confident in my ability to give your pets what they need while you're away and can't wait to meet them! I just graduated from college and am still working on securing a job, which means I have lots of time to give your pets the attention they need! Until further notice, my availability for pet care is wide open. My goal for caring for your pets is, first and foremost, following the schedule and expectations that you've already set for them. It's super important to me that all the hard work you've put in with training, rule-setting, and care is continued even when you aren't there. After that, it's also important that I stay attentive to what your pets need. I make sure I'm paying attention to indications that they want to be let outside, want to be pet, or want to play.
