“What a wonderful idea to have your dog vacationing at Kelsey’s home while visiting Topeka area! Dyson had a wonderful time and is now tired at our campsite. He had two dog girlfriends to run around the fenced yard with and access to the comfort of the house when it was time to chill. Thank you Kelsey and family!”

“Our day care visits are preparing Brodie for our upcoming week vacation. We have never left him before but he is doing better every-time we leave him with Nathalia. She is great!!”

About: I grew up on the family farm surrounded by dogs and cats and all kinds of animals - caring for them was part of my life. That lifelong connection led me to volunteer at a local dog and cat shelter where I've gained even more experience with pets of all temperaments and needs. I treat every animal like family and I willl give your pet loving care whether it's for a quick walk or an overnight stay. I have a very flexible schedule so I can fully prioritize pet care. My days naturally revolve around the animals I am caring for and I enjoy creating routine that suits their needs. My home, farm in the woods, is calm and pet friendly space where animals can relax, go for walks or play. In client's home, I'm respectful of their space and routines, I communicate with the owner, send updates and make sure the pet has all my attention.

“Marilyn was so kind and generous with taking care of our puppy Obi. He looked like he had an amazing time and I enjoyed seeing how happy he was from the pictures and videos she sent. Would recommend and am happy I found someone who I can trust with my puppy.”

“Brandin really interacted well with Manwich, he was very knowledgeable about dogs, a good sized yard, and enough toys for every dog to have several to pick from and/or play with. Plus, he is an all around nice person.”

About: I’ve been a dog owner all of my life and always hated it when I had to kennel them for several hours and/or overnights. Always tried to look for people to help out with walks or play time. This is a great resource for those pets in need. Just looking to help your loved one get through those long days alone. I have a flexible job that I spend most of my time at home. It gives me the opportunity to do other things that I need done. I’m available most days. I have a large fenced in backyard and a dog of my own (Calvin). He loves other dogs and loves to have friends over. I’ve been a pet owner my whole life and want nothing but happiness and exercise for all.

About: I’ve provided everything from daily walks and drop-in visits to overnight stays and extended care. I’m comfortable administering medication, following detailed feeding routines, and providing enrichment to keep pets happy and stimulated. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and at home—even when you’re away. I work from home full time so I am home with pets at all times during the day. They will have constant care and attention. I have a super friendly dog to keep your pet company and access to a private dog park. Your pet will get the highest level of care when staying with me.

About: I have an immense love for animals and treat my own as if they were my children, giving them endless care, respect, and affection. Their happiness and well-being are my top priorities, and I go above and beyond to ensure they feel safe, loved, and understood. This deep connection extends to every pet I care for, making me an exceptional pet sitter. I am patient, responsible, and attuned to each animal’s unique needs, whether it’s playtime, special diets, or just providing comfort. My dedication and genuine passion for animals make me someone pet owners can trust completely. I am always at home. I do work from home. But that is a few hours per day and my schedule can be adjusted to the needs of any animal. I have a lead setup but all dogs will be taken on multiple walks a day. During bed time they would be with me unless requested by owner to be crated.

About: Hello! I am a stay at home mom to a 1.5 year old little girl and I am looking to make some extra cash for our family. I've owned dogs since I was a little girl. I have had two labs, one Boston terrier, one pug, and one chihuahua. My husband and I have two dogs of our own, a Mini Australian Shepard and a Lab/Dachshund mix. I love all animals and will dedicate my time to taking care of, having fun, and being a companion to them. I have always been a dog person, but have also owned a cat in the past. Therefore, I would love to care for both! My friends and family would describe me as a caring person with a big heart. I am very easygoing and down to Earth. I love caring for animals and children. If you choose me as a sitter or walker, you would not be disappointed! I am looking forward to meeting with you! Krystal Becker :) I have a very flexible schedule as I am a stay at home mom to a 1.5 year old, so I have plenty of time to care for your pet(s)! I live in a very safe, family-friendly neighborhood in Topeka with a fenced-in backyard. I am willing to travel up to 15 miles if needed to provide care!

About: I’ve been a pet owner for 10+ years. My fur babies are my world. I believe all animals deserve to be loved. Choose the best. I’m going to school part time and I would love to enjoy my free time taking care of some fur babies. Ask me your questions. I have a fenced in backyard. I live right by a park and university. About: Located on 10 acres in rural Hoyt, Kansas, Hughes & Hounds provides a spacious safe haven for your furry family members. Our set-up, previously used for dog breeding, includes two (working on three) spacious backyard pens that are the full package deal, including: big shade trees, big water bowls, a doggie igloo and free doggie treats (if you approve of course!). For a small additional fee, you may request a small dog pool in your dog's pen for the duration of their stay, for those hot summer months. Please note that our dog daycare and boarding services are OUTDOOR ONLY and really for farm/outside dogs, bigger dogs, or dogs with high energy. We will accept any sized dog as long as they’re used to staying outside during the day! With two young kids in the home, we will only bring your dogs inside if the owner provides a crate and only if requested for night time (with the exception of severe weather where they would be crated indoors as well). Our schedules are unique in that we are home most days, aside from running errands, and will be able to check on your furry pals often during their week & weekend stays with us. We are flexible and want to make sure your wishes are heard. So if you want us to play with your dogs, send you pictures, give treats - we are here for it. But if your dog prefers to not be bothered too much and is good with the essentials - we are here for that too. You tell us how we can provide the most comfortable atmosphere for your dogs. As far as experience goes, I've been a dog sitter on and off from elementary school through college and have volunteered lots of hours to our local shelter.... I love dogs and they're in good hands! :) This is a NEW and fun business adventure for our small family and we do not take it lightly! Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions-we will respond promptly. I stay at home with my kids and my husband's schedule allows him to be home more days than not so we feel confident that we can take good care of your dog(s) while they stay here. Since we have the space we thought "why not?" when it came to the idea of dog boarding. We were not using our back 3 pens, other than allowing our dogs to roam them. There were some escape artists when the pens were originally used for breeding, so safety features include covered corners so dogs are unable to climb up and out using the corner fencing. Cement was also laid around the boundaries of the pens so digging cannot occur. If your dog likes to jump fences that would be a concern and a reason why we may not be a good fit for you. Of course, plenty of cold, fresh water will always be available to your dog(s) during their stay.

About: I have been a professional trainer, handler and groomer for over a decade, providing excellent care for dogs, cats and other pets of all ages, sizes and care needs. I am also available for livestock care, with over two decades of experience with horses, cattle and most other hoofstock and flocks. I offer these services full time, so no need to worry about another job conflicting with your pet’s needs while in my care. I am able to devote my schedule to them. For my in home services, I have a yard that is set up with individual fenced areas, as well as having 4.5 acres that will soon be fully fenced in! For those bigger dogs who want to be able to run and stretch their legs more.I have two of my own dogs as well, as company for those who would enjoy a playmate. We do crate all guests for bedtime and meals. This ensures everyone can eat at their own pace, and in a safe environment. Same for bedtime. While we understand that your pet may sleep loose at home, we typically have guests from multiple households. Safety is our #1 priority and we don’t want to risk an issue overnight.
