“Mike and Jennifer did a wonderful job keeping us informed and sending pictures of our little guy. I was worried leaving him but after our meet and greet I knew Alden would be in good hands. Alden had a good time playing with their dog. I will definitely use them again. Thanks for taking such good care of our little guy.”

About: Friends and family have relied on me to check in with, feeding and playing with their pets. And even sometimes have play dates with my dog. I’m currently trying to find things to keep me busy there out the week/weekends so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups. I’m available during the week and weekends at any time. I have two friendly pets to keep your fur baby company.crate your dog if needed I have a labradoodle. She is two years old and I have a Sphynx cat, which is four years old.
“Tobey had a great time with Jennifer! We were able to do a last minute booking with her without any complications and she was eager to help. She also kept me updated and sent me photos while we were gone! Would definitely recommend and will plan to use her in the future!”

“Nadia was amazing! Our pet had the best time at her place and she was super accommodating to us. Not only that, but she also made sure to constantly update us on everything that happened and how she was doing throughout the whole stay!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Brandin, his wife Caroline and family were wonderful to work with. They helped ease our nerves and reassured us our dog would do great, which he did. They are very nice people and great to work with. Quick to respond and took wonderful care of our dog. We plan to use them again and it’s nice that our dog has another loving family to go to while we’re away.”

“Wonderful! Our dog Eevee enjoyed her stay and felt right at home. The owners of Hugh’s and Hounds were so friendly and did everything to make her stay great! Good communication, went above and beyond! Highly recommend and will use them again if we need to board.”

“Kelsey was wonderful with Willow. I was able to enjoy my trip without any worries about Willows care. I will definitely call upon Kelsey again if needed. I enjoyed the update pictures and updates she sent me.”

“Cassandra was amazing!! Not only was she accommodating for our last minute boarding request but she sent pictures and checked in throughout the week. The dogs were clearly well taken care of and happy. We will absolutely book again in the future!”

“We couldn't be happier with the care Yana provided for Apollo and Hermes! From the moment we met her, it was clear that she truly cares about animals. Yana kept a close eye on our boys, ensuring they were safe, happy, and well entertained while we were away. They went above and beyond, not just with daily love and playtime, but by taking them to Christmas at her family’s house! They had so much fun, and it was heartwarming to see how well they were integrated into the family’s festivities. The boys loved them, and it felt like they were part of their extended family too! Yana has a natural ability to connect with animals, and it was a huge relief to know they were in such capable hands. Her communication was top-notch throughout, and we loved getting pupdates with pictures on their adventures. We highly recommend her and will definitely be asking for her help again in the future. Thank you, Yana, for everything you did for Apollo and Hermes!”

“Petra took great of my pup! From the pictures she sent it was like doggy summer camp! They went on lots of walks and adventures, and he was tuckered out in the best way when we got home!”

“Holly loves her time with Marilyn. Walks in the woods, swim time and pups to play with- what’s not to love! Marilyn sent photos and updates daily and Holly came home good and tired. She even made a new best friend in Nova. Will definitely use Marilyn again. The best 😃”

“Cal and their dog Rory did such a fantastic job watching Stella for me that I’ve already asked them to keep her again. Stella could not have gotten more love anywhere and she had a great time. Cal sent me pictures and updates multiple times a day and couldn’t have been greater. I wholeheartedly recommend them!”

“Valentine was so kind and easy to work with. I could tell she really cared about my dog and took lots of care to make sure she got along with the other pets in the home. She is flexible and so communicative too!”

About: I've been working in the dog care industry for at least 10 years! Certified through Animal Behavior College,(abcdt) 2014 and the Council of professional dog trainers (ccpdt) since 2017. I can train your dog or just snuggle them and play with them! I am working towards going full time care taker so that I can build my clientele. As of now I work full time at a doggie day care as their manager and dog trainer and will be decreasing my hours as my clients increase! I can travel to your home or bring your best friend to mine! I have a very large fenced in back yard, and a very friendly dog. A few kennels for rest time as well.
“Amanda was great at communicating before and during our pup's stay. Our girl was definitely well taken care of and had a lot of fun! We will look forward to having her with Amanda again in the future!”

“Chelsea and her family were wonderful with our dogs. We would definitely use them again. They sent us updates and pictures on our pets which were very comforting. Would recommend them to anyone”

“Maisy did a great job with Ruby (and with me). She sent me a text with pictures of Ruby making friends on the first day and a little information about how she was doing. I got another text from Maisy the next morning to let me know how Rugy had done during the night. I really appreciated the update. This was the first day of my vacation, so I was not able to get Ruby myself, but my daughter got her. She said Ruby was glad to see her but would also have gone back to play with the other dogs if she had been allowed to : ) I will happily ask Maisy to look after her again when the need arises. Sorry this is so long in coming, but I only returned from my trip yesterday.”

“Felicity was great! This was our first time leaving our dogs with someone who wasn't family, so I was very nervous! Felicity did a wonderful job not only taking great care of our boys, but also sending pictures and updates so that my worries were put at ease throughout the time we were gone. She also made drop off/pick up very easy. I tried my best to give her an accurate window of when I'd be there, and she was ready and waiting both times. My dogs came home with what looked like smiles on their faces and exhausted from getting to play with her two dogs the entire weekend! 🥰💖 Thank you Felicity!”

“Justine was perfect. She wrote us daily texts and sent pictures of the 4 kitties every single day. They clearly bonded with them. She took care of picking up our mail for us and opened and lowered the blinds every day. She feed them and played with them. She even saved on of our kitties who got stuck in a gluey ant trap! She was affectionate, clever and resourceful. We could not have found anyone better. She made our vacation in London! We missed our 4 kitties so much and would not have been able to enjoy ourselves at all except we knew she would take excellent care of them!!!”

“It was such a relief to find Emily so we could go on our trip and not worry about our kitties. She did an excellent job taking care of everything!! I will certainly contact her again when we plan to be gone again.”

“Jenna was awesome with taking care of my newly adopted cat! I came back to my place just as I had left it, with a happy cat that was well taken care of. I would most definitely book her again if I ever need a pet-sitter again, she's great with animals and very responsive any time I would message her.”

About: I come from a farm happy family and managed a doggy daycare, with extensive work in animal rescue. I have dealt with just about any animal you can imagine. Dogs, cats, horses, goats, guinea pigs, fish, snakes, birds, etc. Not only that but I also have two fur baby's of my own, a black lab and a golden retriever. I have had my lab since he was about 2, and my golden retriever I got when she was about 12 weeks old. I love animals and am just looking to fill some of my free time and earn a little extra cash. My lab has since passed due to old age in 2019 but my golden loves the occasional company! I do work M-F and would be out of the home from 715am-5pm. I work full time for a nonprofit in Ottawa, so I am out of the house from 715am-5pm. I love going on walks and being outside before and after work! On the weekends aside from some errands I would be around. I take animal safety very seriously, especially after managing a doggy daycare, things can be unpredictable. I take extreme caution, and pay attention to all the signs your pet is giving me along with your requests to ensure they have a fun, safe time while in my care.

“Hi guys. I feel like you all did a great job. You took O' Malley for 10 days and let him do his thing and be comfortable in his own way. Thank you! The only thing I would have liked more of is communication. Both times I had to reach out to you for check ins. Good luck with your pet sitting!!!”

About: My mom never let me had a cat, so I would sneak out to the neighbors to play with theirs and would "adopt" a stray a day. It wasn't until recently that the Cat Distribution Agency decided to bless me with my own. A barn cat-born wild thing, called Aengus who graces me with his presence and who I serve dedicatedly. I also used to go to veterinary medicine school, and recently decided to pick it back up, so this is an opportunity for me to gain experience handling precious cargo. Lets get to bakin'!
About: I have taken care of all types of animals since I was young. I’ve worked with dogs, cats and farm animals. Nothing will surprise me!! I work as an athletic trainer at a high school. I don’t go into work until 1:30 or 2 pm everyday so why not spend my mornings with your lovely pets! I will take your dog for walks/runs and play with them to get all that energy out. If they are good they will be rewarded with treats (if you prefer them to not have treats then they can be showered with love). If it’s a drop in visit then I will take them to the bathroom and feed them if necessary.

About: I have been in the field of veterinary medicine for 14 years, driven by a deep passion for animals and a genuine love for being around them. In addition to my professional work, I dedicate my spare time to helping at the cat shelter. feeding and cleaning up after them

About: Hi! I’m a reliable, experienced pet care provider with a flexible schedule and hands-on experience with dogs of all personalities, including those who are shy or slow to warm up. I’ve worked closely with behavioral specialists, so I’m comfortable reading dog body language, following care instructions, and managing different routines or environments. Whether your pup needs a friendly face for walks, check-ins, or companionship while you’re away, I take pride in providing thoughtful, stress-free care. I’m organized, attentive to details, and always prioritize safety and comfort—wherever your dog is happiest. Remote job, flexible schedule. Monday-Friday only, weekends are generally open outside of planned events and activities. I finish work at 5pm daily, but it's a very adaptable work routine. When it comes to care routines, I'm consistent and structured. I typically do potty breaks at minimum every two hours and provide walks one to two times daily, adjusting the length based on each dog's energy level and preferences. Fresh water and food are always available unless you specify otherwise. I keep my own dog separate from visiting dogs unless they've had time to become familiar with each other, which helps everyone feel more secure.

Perfect for high energy dogs - Hoyt
About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and have been caring for pets since childhood. I grew up with both cats and dogs, including a Maltese, and currently share my home with an Australian Shepherd–Brittany Spaniel mix and my cat Josie. I have rescued two former outdoor/stray cats who I named Mabel and Astrid. One lives with my Grandpa while the other was given to my cousin! My favorite side-quests are animal rescuing! 😄 Alongside this, I’ve raised puppies and kittens of all ages, cared for senior pets, given medication, and even rescued a squirrel once (my ultimate side quest!). As said, I’ve occasionally helped strays by feeding and socializing them over the years, which has taught me patience, gentleness, and how to read animal body language. Professionally, I work in the behavioral health field, with over five years in Applied Behavioral Analysis as a behavior tech and a year as a mental health therapist student. I naturally apply those skills when working with animals by reading into the “unsaid.” Whether that is helping an anxious dog feel safe, reinforcing positive behaviors, or calmly navigating new environments, I am ready! I understand that pets are family. I prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication so you can feel fully at ease while your pet is in my care. Whether your pet needs playtime, structure, cuddles, or space, I’m attentive to their individual personality and needs, and I genuinely love making sure every furry friend feels happy and understood. I am available to provide pet care services anytime between May 12 and July 12, 2026. During this period, I can accommodate flexible schedules and multiple visits per week, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I prioritize consistency and routine for pets, ensuring they receive regular feeding, exercise, and attention. After July 13, 2026, I will be working full-time and will only be able to accept a limited number of clients for very minimal days, so I plan to carefully manage my schedule to maintain high-quality care and attention for each pet. I prioritize safety, trust, and a positive environment for every pet in my care. I ensure secure spaces, supervise playtime, and maintain a calm and structured routine. I tailor care to each pet’s individual personality and needs, whether that means cuddles, exercise, or quiet time. I am attentive to subtle behavioral cues and changes, thanks to my background in behavioral health, and I always communicate clearly with pet owners to ensure they feel confident and comfortable with my care.
“Marilyn was so kind and generous with taking care of our puppy Obi. He looked like he had an amazing time and I enjoyed seeing how happy he was from the pictures and videos she sent. Would recommend and am happy I found someone who I can trust with my puppy.”

“What a wonderful idea to have your dog vacationing at Kelsey’s home while visiting Topeka area! Dyson had a wonderful time and is now tired at our campsite. He had two dog girlfriends to run around the fenced yard with and access to the comfort of the house when it was time to chill. Thank you Kelsey and family!”

“I had to leave my 1 yr old Pup “Maggie” for 9 days over the holiday… HATED leaving her, but Brandin seemed to take great care of her while I was away. I received pictures everyday. I left him with tips on Maggie’s personality and things she did and liked. He took notes and applied them. When me and Maggie were driving away she was looking back as to say where are my people. Looking for them intensely. I felt she liked them and I would absolutely have them look after Maggie again. Thank you Brandin”

About: Located on 10 acres in rural Hoyt, Kansas, Hughes & Hounds provides a spacious safe haven for your furry family members. Our set-up, previously used for dog breeding, includes two (working on three) spacious backyard pens that are the full package deal, including: big shade trees, big water bowls, a doggie igloo and free doggie treats (if you approve of course!). Please note that our dog daycare and boarding services are OUTDOOR ONLY and really for farm/outside dogs, bigger dogs, or dogs with high energy. We will accept any sized dog as long as they’re used to staying outside during the day! With two young kids in the home, we will only bring your dogs inside if the owner provides a crate and only if requested for night time (with the exception of severe weather where they would be crated indoors as well). I work a few afternoons a week, so I will be able to check on your furry pals often during their week & weekend stays with us. We are flexible and want to make sure your wishes are heard. So if you want us to play with your dogs, send you pictures, give treats - we are here for it. But if your dog prefers to not be bothered too much and is good with the essentials - we are here for that too. You tell us how we can provide the most comfortable atmosphere for your dogs. As far as experience goes, I've been a dog sitter on and off from elementary school through college and have volunteered lots of hours to our local shelter.... I love dogs and they're in good hands! :) This is a NEW and fun business adventure for our small family and we do not take it lightly! Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions-we will respond promptly. I only work a few afternoons a week, and my husband gets home before me during those days, so there’s only about 3-4 hour stretches of time we would be gone during the week. Due to this, we feel confident that we can take good care of your dog(s) while they stay here. Since we have the space we thought "why not?" when it came to the idea of dog boarding. We were not using our back 3 pens, other than allowing our dogs to roam them. There were some escape artists when the pens were originally used for breeding, so safety features include covered corners so dogs are unable to climb up and out using the corner fencing. Cement was also laid around the boundaries of the pens so digging cannot occur. If your dog likes to jump fences that would be a concern and a reason why we may not be a good fit for you. Of course, plenty of cold, fresh water will always be available to your dog(s) during their stay.

I treat every animal like a family and I willl give your pet loving care whether it's for a quick walk or an overnight stay. I have a very flexible schedule so I can fully prioritize pet care. My days naturally revolve around the animals I am caring for and I enjoy creating routine that suits their needs. My home, farm in the woods, is a dog paradise where they can relax, go for walks or play. In client's home, I'm respectful of their space and routines, I communicate with the owner, send updates and make sure the pet has all my attention.

Since 2020 I have fostered animals for a local shelter including dogs, puppies as young as 6 months, and kittens as young as 5 weeks. I have basic experience in dog training. I’m currently working on a part-time contract basis so my schedule is very flexible and I would love to help you care for your pet(s). I am available daily with a set schedule to accommodate your needs. I am an experienced foster of dogs and kittens. I have a dedicated space (spare bedroom) to keep any animals separate from mine, but if they are dog and cat friendly they could be free roaming in the house when I am home. I have a cable for supervised potty time in the yard. I am experienced with crate training. I am clean and professional, respecting your space and routines in your home.

About: Hello!! My name is Maisy. I have worked in various different animal related jobs for the last 5 years, I worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility and I currently am a dog trainer. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. I have a fenced in yard the dogs love to run around in and inside we have lots of toys and comfy places to take naps (which will be put up if there are problems). If I’m not at home or at night all dogs will be kenneled for safety.

About: I received a certification in the Fundamentals of Clicker training and positive reinforcement in a Karen Pryor Academy class. I have experience training puppies to behave correctly with humans and dogs. From the age of 8 to adulthood, I ran my own house sitting business in cities in eastern Kansas, including Lawrence, and Overland Park, KS. I have worked in Veterinary Clinics, Humane Societies and dog boarding facilities. Through experience and classes I know how to interact with our beloved furry friends. I know how dogs communicate, dog breed characteristics, breed groups, developmental stages, play styles, and how to meet their needs. I am determined to help strengthen the bond between you and your dog. I practice a routine when I take care of the dogs in my care. They spend 1/4 time exercising, another 1/4 time playing either with their canine buddies and or with me, 1/4 the time training or learning a new trick, mentally stimulate them, and finally the last 1/4 of time resting. As you know, all dogs crave structure and routine. When they know what to expect, then they know how to behave. My knowledge of dog safety and how to treat all dogs with individual needs will ensure you peace of mind. I have worked with many dog breeds, all sizes, and all ages. I do not have any breed preferences. I currently own three dogs: Skye is a lab mix, a senior ( 8 years old), Westly, a corgi, is a senior ( 11 years old), and Ginny is a lab mix, just a wee puppy (8 months old) Developing meaningful relationships with canines is my passion. I have a fenced in yard and always go out with my dogs so I can make sure they are safely inside the yard and also to make sure they have healthy bowl movements. I have been told that I’m very trustworthy. I use my experience and knowledge to help each canine in my care. If there’s something “wrong” or different about a dogs behavior I will check in with you their human parents. It is very important to me that one, you are happy with the service I provide and two, that you feel comfortable with me taking care of your fur children! Please let me know how I can best serve you!

“Nadia is so sweet! We walked my two boys today to see if we could work together as regular customers, and I really loved how calm and confident she is! My dogs can be a handful and she redirected them so well. I am very glad to have found her!”

About: I have had my own personal dogs for a little over a year. But I have been pet sitting for longer than that. I am able to work on training that has been set in place and I am able to help care for senior dogs. I have had cats my entire life so I am capable of cleaning out litter boxes and playing with the cats with toys. I am currently working part time as a kitchen assistant so I am only available at certain times during the week. Also there are some days where I will have to work full time and sometimes my schedule changes the day of. I would try to keep any previous schedule that had been set for the client’s pets. I would walk and play with them as necessary. It would be my goal to make this easy on both the owners and the pets.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a very long time. I own a cockapoo named BaeLee and she is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. I now own 2 dogs: Benito and Bernie. Benito is a Rottweiler mix and Bernie is a lab/pitbull. I adopted both from the shelter and have loved my new additions to my family. I take care of my family’s and friend’s dogs all the time from watching them, playing with them, feeding them, and walking them. I am very good with dogs and can be very patient if I need to be. I love sitting down and working on tricks. Having two puppies has taught me the importance of routine and training but also fun! I take care of my pup daily. From the time I wake up until I go to sleep I am always attentive to her needs. Every now and then I’ll take care of my uncles dog throughout the day and take him out every two hours. I am very nice and patient with animals. I love to pet them and play fetch or tug of war. I do not like to touch other’s things when I go to their houses and I respect their rules. I don’t do what I wouldn’t like done in my home to other’s homes.
“Very happy with Dustyn so far. He is quick to respond to requests, respectful, punctual, and somehow gets our dog to walk quicker with him than with us 😉 Theodore seems happy with Dustyn so we are too.”

About: "If you can look at a dog and not feel vicarious excitement and affection, you must be a cat." ~Terri Guillemets Love dogs (and animals in general, but dogs especially.) I have been around them my whole life and wouldn't want it any other way. I come from a large, mostly rural dwelling family, my grandma had 11 kids 2/3 of which have at least 1 or more dog(s) including my mom. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. In short, if either by choice or necessity you find yourself in need of a caretaker for your 4-legged (or more) companion(s), know that I would be elated for the opportunity and you can be assured that their health and well-being will invariably be at the forefront of my mind in all that I do while they're in my care. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to hearing from you soon. "Lots of people talk to animals.... Not very many listen, though.... That's the problem." ~Benjamin Hoff, The Tao of Pooh

The best 😃”

“Valentine was so kind and easy to work with. I could tell she really cared about my dog and took lots of care to make sure she got along with the other pets in the home. She is flexible and so communicative too!”

“My dog Suk stayed with Hunter for about a week. He seemed very happy in all the photos she sent of him. She did a great job taking care of him and playing with him while I was gone. Highly recommend!”
