“We feel so blessed to have found Tina to take care of Dottie while we went on vacation. She communicated with me every day about how she was doing and eating, which put us at ease so we could enjoy our time away. I give her a thousand stars and would recommend her to anyone 💜”

“Keylor and Grace were wonderful!!! They took such good care of our puppy and were very accommodating and flexible as well as responsive to messages. I really appreciated the pics of Buddy and updates on how he was doing as well!!! Highly recommend!!!”

“Katelyn and Nicholas were both welcoming and a great host for our 11 month old golden retriever. We were provided frequent updates/pictures which was comforting because this was our first trip without our dog. We will return if we ever need their services again!”

“Lauranne was absolutely wonderful with my dog. I received frequent updates and photos throughout the day, which put my mind at ease. I was especially impressed with their patience in dealing with his picky eating habits, which can be a challenge. It was so clear how much she cared for my dog, and I came home to a happy, tired pup. Highly recommend! Laurie is the best! I finally found a trustworthy, caring boarder! Thank you so much Laurie! I appreciate you! I will definitely get on your schedule for future getaways!”

“Rumi took great care of my Bernese mountain dog Flynn! He was in literal paradise, she sent updates with photos, she was very easy to get ahold of and communicate with, and made his entire stay so wonderful! We will for sure be using her services again!!”

“I would recommend melody to anyone. I felt comfortable leaving my Scooby Doo while going off on a weekend family trip. He had a good time. I would use her again in the future as well.”

“Fantastic!! This was our first experience with using Rover. We could not be happier with the wonderful family that took care of my Enzo while we went away for several days. Hannah and her family took Enzo in as a family member. She kept me informed and sent pictures and videos of him living a good life with her family. Hannah was fabulous!”

“Alayna is awesome! She made sure to update us everyday with cute pictures and made sure our girl was well cared for. Phoebe had so much fun with Rico and Titan and cannot wait to come back! Thank you Alayna for being a great sport even when we mixed up our pickup time :) 10/10 stars”

“Monica was really great with my Shiloh. She made sure to send me lots of photos and it looks like Shiloh had such a great time. She's super sweet and kind. I felt really relieved that Shiloh had such a great time.”

“We were probably more anxious than the dogs to leave them with a stranger! This was our first time needing boarding after adopting Tiko 4yrs ago, and Bella 10yrs ago. We usually have at least one family member who stays behind for the fur babies. Bill was quick to respond, and allowed us a meet and greet before booking the stay. Their property us beautiful, with a huge fenced back yard, surrounded by cows and horses. They provided photo updates during our stay, and our pups seemed to genuinely enjoy their vacation from home. They were well cared for. We wouldn't hesitate to book again, if ever boarding is needed!”

“Nicole was kind, accommodating , flexible, and our dog Peach really did well with her! We received many updates with photos which was so much fun and appreciated! We didn’t even have to ask for those updates either 😊”

“Erika was amazing, very caring with my Malula, was accommodating and always gives you great daily reports with pictures and activities, my dog was super happy and so I was, as I have never left her with someone I didn't know before, and must say it was a great experience, I highly recommend her, it's a super fabulous pet sitter and host, she make space for my dog only in her house, and give her many walks and play time! Even have her a little toy. Honestly thank you Erika!! You were amazing and my dog was so happy!! I will def choose her again w my baby!!”

“Jill and her family are amazing. I was nervous about leaving my fur babies with someone they didn’t know. But Jill and her family took care of them as their own. Tonight I booked them again and my dogs went right in and seemed to be at home. I highly recommend her for your fur baby”

“This was our 1st time stay with Jamie and could not have had a better experience. Our dog Mocha is 14 years old with requires medication on a regular basis. Jamie made sure she had all her medication just as requested and provided regular updates (photos/videos) to assure us she was doing well. Mocha enjoyed the companionship of the other dogs as well Jamie's family. We felt at ease with everything from the beginning and would highly recommend Jamie to care for your pet.”

“Heidi was great! We had a family event to go to and it was all day. She sent pictures and updates while they were there. Heidi has a very safe environment for the dogs. There is a nice yard where they can play. My dogs were very comfortable there and did not bark once when we left. And I have a Chihuahua!”

“Darah took wonderful care of Mysti while I was out of town. Daily updates and photos were sent to me and I could see how content Mysti felt in her home. Will definitely book pet visits with Darah again for future trips trips away from home.”

About: I've had dogs for the majority of my life. Over the past 20 years I've owned a cocker spaniel and 2 malshi. At one point I bread my Malshis and Mom had 5 beautiful puppies who I successfully placed in loving homes. I currently have one malshi who I absolutely adore. I have been a dogsitter for the past 3 years for a co-worker who travels a lot for work. I have experience with small dogs, muts and golden retrievers. I live in a lovely suburb ideal for dog walking. I also have a sizeable back yard for play. My dog loves the company of other pets. I currently work full time and work a hybrid schedule between the office and home. I have lots of dog toys for play, dog snacks and dog beds for sleeping. I have a good sized back yard with a leader for small dogs. My neighborhood is dog friendly and a great place to walk dogs. I can crate your dog if needed.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
