About: Being around dogs has been the foundation of my life since the age of 3. From caring for my own pets, helping our neighbor who bred collies, and caring for dogs while also caring for my patients at work as a home health occupational therapist, I feel like every pet is part of my family. My heart is full around any four legged friend and I strive to care for them, show them the deepest love, and teach them as I do my own children. It’s in my blood! I currently work as a home health OT with a flexible schedule during the day. I also have windows of time during the evenings and weekends to care for any pet. Teaching my sons responsibility and skills required to care well for animals are just an added bonus! I own my home with a large yard in the rear of the home. I’m also able to provide in-home boarding as I do not currently have a pet in the home. I also am able to offer drop-in services to address any home needs (mail, plant care, shoveling or vacation mowing), dog-walking, and light housework. About: I have extensive experience with a wide variety of dog breeds. I have been a veterinary technician for 9 years. I also foster for a local rescue and have pets of my own. Dogs all have unique temperaments and personalities which is what makes caring for them so much fun! I am currently employed, but looking for a change of pace. Dogs love me and I love them. ❤️ I have an older service dog as well, and am able to help train a dog if needed. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
