About: I have many years of experience taking care of my own pets and others. Growing up, my family had many dogs in my home, both small and large. I often was responsible for walks, hygiene, and feeding them. Once I began attending college, I often pet sat both cats and dogs for friends and family members, both for short periods of time (just a day) and extended stays (up to two weeks).I am able to stay in your home for long periods of time while you are away or stop by for just a walk or play date. I am comfortable taking dogs out to the park/on a walk or staying at your home. I am currently working remote, so I have flexibility to meet your pet’s needs, whether it be a walk, spending time in your home with them, or spending multiple days sitting. I will follow any care instructions from you that make you feel comfortable. I want to ensure your pet is safe snd comfortable. I am comfortable staying in the home with pets and taking them out of the house. Furthermore, I am comfortable administering oral meds and meeting other special needs as long as it is discussed before care begins.

“Richard has watched both of my dogs since they were puppies! Extremely responsible, goes above and beyond to endure that our furry family was well cared for! Side note! I have Rottweilers which are not a very trusting breed when it comes to strangers. Well, that was NOT an issue with Richard. From the second he walked in our home it was a perfect match. Sometimes we even had trouble getting our dogs away from him so he could leave! They loved him so much and so do we. We even invited him over for one our pups birthdays and in true Richard fashion he brought a chew toy that we still have today! 1,000,000% would recommend Richard to anyone one needing a sitter!”

About: I am currently a zookeeper of over 8 years and have owned cats and dogs for my entire life. I have experience with caring for many different animals over the years ( pigs, goats, horses, kangaroos, cats, dogs, lizards, snakes, insects, crocodilians - you name it ). I also have cared for special needs dogs. My boys. One of which had epilepsy needing meds on a timed schedule daily. The other of which suffered an FCE - leaving him paralyzed in the rear limbs and incontinent for around 2 months (who is now at about 90% recovery!) When I was too young to work - I volunteered at shelters ( off and on from 12-16 ). While there, I socialized cats, exercised dogs, fed, watered, as well as cleaning their homes. I will be available most weekdays after 3pm. I do not have a set work schedule so I may occasionally have availability’s that are not listed so feel free to ask. Weekends I am typically free after 5pm. If you’re looking for something earlier again please reach out. I may have unlisted availabilities! I treat any animals I care for as if I would my own! If they are high energy - we’ll play. If they have separation anxiety I’ll do what I can to keep them company. If they need their meds, I can do that too. If you need me to check in on other animals while I am there, I can.

At home, I’m surrounded by the joyful chaos of two dogs, two cats, a spirited pony on our property, and a lively flock of chickens. My bond with animals runs deep, cultivated through years of dedicated volunteer work at animal sanctuaries. I’m excited to extend my care offering house sitting for differing kinds of animals and dog walking services to neighbors who entrust me with their pets. I’m currently working part time with my digital media freelancing business so my schedule is entirely flexible! I’m able to house sit, come by a couple times a day or just go on a walk or two. I make sure my pets have as much outside time that they need as this improves their health in so many ways. I always have water filled up for them, clean litter boxes, check in with their energies and behaviors, and feed them correct and reasonable amounts at the right time of day.
