“Megan is amazing! She went above and beyond while watching our 2 dogs! Our dogs (and us) have some anxiety when we leave for a trip but knowing they were in such great hands is a huge weight off our shoulders! She will send updates and pictures so you never have to worry how they're doing! She even got our dogs treats which is soo sweet! We will definitely be booking with Megan when we go on another trip!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 12 years and have experience with dogs, cats, farm animals, and wildlife. My professional animal care experience began as a teenager working at Pine Ridge Pet Resort, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, cleaning, administering medications, monitoring behavior, and providing safe, attentive care in both boarding and daycare settings. Since then, animal care has remained a huge part of my life. I have extensive hands-on experience caring for senior pets, including administering multiple oral medications, insulin injections, and providing extra support for aging dogs with changing mobility and health needs. I also have experience giving medication to cats and caring for puppies. In addition to domestic pet care, I worked at a wildlife rescue center where I assisted with first aid, fluid administration, and hands-on care for injured animals. That experience strengthened my ability to stay calm, observant, and compassionate in high-stress situations. I am currently working part-time and graduating soon, so I will have more time on my hands as I transition to a new full-time job starting later in June. I have fairly open availability throughout the weekdays now as well as the weekends. In my home, I have a full house of 2 dogs and 2 cats. They all get along great, but my senior dog, Daisy, doesn't get along with dogs that don't live with her. Therefore, my home is not available currently for pet sitting, but I am familiar with pet sitting for others in their homes in order to assure their pets feel safe. In my home, I feed 2x/day in an 8 hour period and walk my dogs every 3-4 hours. When it comes to other people's pets, I am open to whatever care routine your animals are used to. No matter how many steps are involved, I can do anything you need done, and I will do it with a smile on my face. I will also respect any and all boundaries in your home and only go in the designated pet areas. I have had multiple people require I stay out of certain rooms, and it has never been an issue. I am deeply appreciative of the trust I am given when caring for pets, so I won't take it for granted by disrespecting your home or boundaries.
“Kimmie was wonderful!!! A big storm came through on one of the nights Kimmie was watching our dogs and when the storm sirens went off in the middle of the night Kimmie made sure the dogs were safe in our (unfinished) basement. She went above and beyond to stay with them to keep them calm, so that was a big plus! She did a great job communicating with us when we were away and our dogs seemed to thrive with her. That’s even more notable considering our younger dog lost his sight a few weeks prior to the dates we used her, and she navigated that unexpected concern beautifully!”

“My name is Brenda and I hired Joanne to stay in my home and care for my pets (4), 3 dogs and my kitty while out of town for work for a couple days. I have found that Joanne to be a very nice, responsible, caring person who shows that she truly enjoys caring for your pets. I am so happy to have found her here on Rover. Joanne had sent me many pictures of my pets which made me so happy to see how happy they were while I out of town, she did such an awesome job. You can tell she truly loves taking care of your pets.. and they loved her back, When I came home, my home was very clean, and my pets were so content. I've never came home to my pets to be so content, as they did not lack attention at all. Joanne went above and beyond for my fur babies and myself to make me comfortable leaving them with her in my home. I would HIGHLY recommend her for your pet sitting needs. she is the best! I will be hiring her again in the future. Thank you so much Joanne for doing an amazing job!!”

About: I’ve spent my whole life having some sort of animals in my life. I have two dogs that live back in southwest Missouri with my parents. One is a chocolate lab who is a female, and her name is Coco. The other dog, which is a Weimer Reimer he is a male and his name is trooper. The only reason I didn’t bring these dogs with me is because they were very close with my parents and I didn’t want to tear them apart and mess their routine up. I currently work full-time, and I travel the state of North Dakota during the week but I am back on the weekends which I will be available all weekend long how do you care? Whether it’s at my home or the clients home if it is a fenced backyard, I will go out there and sit with him and watch the dogs as they do their business. But if there’s no fenced in yard, I will take them for a walk and make sure they are well taken care of.

“Nelson did a great job watching our four animals. Communication was clear, everything was handled responsibly, and we came home to happy pets and a well-kept house. Would absolutely book again.”

About: I've had dogs since I was a kid. I've had a German Shephard, labs, poodle mixes, weimaraner mix, an American Staffordshire. and a dachshund. (I've had cats as well.) I listen to 'Katie K9' a local animal lover/educator who has a radio show and I watch Cesar Milan's Dog whisperer! I've taken dog training classes with my dogs in the past. I am a nurse and work some ‘off’ hours which means my availability varies week to week. My schedule is not very flexible but you can always ask :) I will care for your pets respectfully. I will communicate with you to find out what exactly the needs of you and your pet(s) are. I live in a townhome up one flight of stairs.

About: Hello, I’m Alex. Throughout the years, I've had a few dogs ranging in size and breed. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to keep them because of moving and some family dynamics. But that hasn’t stopped me from doing what I can to spend as much time as possible with dogs. When I'm not working, I like to visit the animal shelter, go to the gym, fly airplanes or just relax. I currently do not have any certifications or professional training with dogs, but I have lots of experience with loving and caring for them. I used to have a few dogs of my own including a Boxer mix, two Dachshunds, a Border Collie / Lab mix and a Husky. My home is always welcoming to all of my furry guests. There is lots of room for them to run around. I believe my home is ideal for any dog. Also, my neighborhood has many sidewalks that are perfect for daily walks, and there is a large field nearby that the pups can play in. Dog owners should book with me because I am very loving toward dogs –– they always have my full attention! I am very active and enjoy being outside. I like playing with pups and taking them to parks, beaches, and walking around my neighborhood. Some days, I just like to kick back and relax by the pool –– I think your dog will too! Save $20 on your first booking by using my code: ALEXD69743 I currently work in the healthcare field. I do work overnights that are 12 hour shifts. I work 4 days on and 4 days off. Safety and comfort are my top priorities for your pup. I will always do what I can to the best of my abilities to make sure they are safe with me and comfortable.
About: I am a big corgi lover!!!!! From time to time, I’ve taken care of my family/friends dogs all throughout my childhood, but sadly never had a dog of my own. Before I make the decision, I would love to get more experience working with dogs! I work at home, I’m very organized, manage time well, and great with communication! I think pet care will fit well into my routine because I work at home, and I would love to incorporate walking and getting outside more often! My apartment has a dog wash room so it’s very handy if your dog ever needs a bath. I live in a very safe and secure building that has security outside as well.
