About: I have been working in boarding facilities for over 3 years and I have been pet sitting for about 2 years. I absolutely love pets and enjoy spending time with them. I have experience in administering medication, dog training, walks and house sitting. I work at a boarding facility where I am with many pets daily in a daycare setting or just providing basic care as far as walking them, feeding and medicating them, keeping log of how they are potting and of course giving them lots of snuggles. I am soon going back to school and looking for a way to continue to do something I enjoy while being in school. When I visit your pets in your home my main goal is to provide the same amount of care and be very attentive as if they were my pet. I ensure the pets remain comfortable and abide by house rules (maybe not allowed to be on furniture or not allowed in certain rooms) while giving them lots of love and snuggles.

“Calvyn was a fantastic sitter for two very different pups--one an energetic young shepherd and the other a lazy old boy. It was obvious he had the dogs' best interests at heart (a thunderstorm rolled through and he even took the initiative to ask if there was anything that would make them more comfortable) and checked in regularly. He was also the perfect house guest and left the house in better shape than he found it. I'd have Calvyn over to sit again in a heartbeat, and know the dogs would as well!”

“Zoe did a wonderful job taking care of my pup! She was super patient with him because he is timid around new people, but he was playing with her in no time! Zoe even stayed to take care of our dog an extra day after we accidentally put the wrong dates. I highly recommend Zoe to take care of your pet!”

About: My heart belongs to dogs! As a devoted dog mom to a playful Cavapoo and a sweet Cocker Spaniel (both fully trained by me!), I understand that pets aren't just animals – they're cherished family members. My own pups are incredibly spoiled, enjoying top-tier food like Farmers Dog, stimulating morning and evening walks and plenty of treats and snuggles throughout the day. This hands-on experience means I'm adept at catering to diverse needs, from maintaining training routines to providing specialized care. I'm highly observant and proactive, quickly noticing subtle changes in behavior or health. For example, if a sensitive tummy acts up, I'm prepared with a pumpkin-and-powder remedy to ensure swift comfort. With me, your dog won't just be cared for; they'll be showered with love, attention and the meticulous care they deserve, just like my own. Rest assured, I’ll always ensure I provide you with updates and heartwarming photos, so you can see all the fun and progress your dog is making with me. Working from home allows me a flexible and consistent schedule, perfect for providing reliable daily walks and drop-in visits for your beloved pet. I am available throughout the week to ensure your dog gets ample exercise and personalized attention right in your own neighborhood or home. I prioritize morning and evening walks, and can easily accommodate specific feeding times, medication schedules, and play sessions. Let's discuss your pet's routine and how I can seamlessly integrate into it, offering peace of mind while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort and well-being are my absolute top priorities. My home provides a secure and loving environment where dogs can feel at ease and thrive. I maintain a clean, pet-friendly space with secure backyard fencing and ensure all potential hazards are safely out of reach. You can trust that I am vigilant and prepared: -I am highly attentive to your pet's unique personality and needs, ensuring an stress-free experience. -I'm proactive in monitoring their health and well-being, ready to act quickly if something seems amiss, just as I do for my own dogs. -I will adhere strictly to your instructions regarding feeding, medication, and routines. -Regular updates, including photos and videos, will keep you connected and reassured while you're away.

“Akira is AMAZING! My rescue pup is very nervous/traumatized, but she absolutely loved Akira. She treated my pup like her own and took excellent care of my home and plants for two weeks. I was nervous leaving things in someone else's hands for so long, but Akira nailed it. Akira was a fantastic communicator and sent lots of cute pics and videos! She was also adaptable to the extreme heat, and I really appreciate her attention to my dog's comfort. She went above and beyond, and she'll absolutely be my go-to person for caring for my pup in the future. It felt amazing to come back to a safe pup, healthy plants, and clean home. Thank you again, Akira!”

About: New to Rover but not new to love! I have always had a great love for all animals and have had dogs and cats my entire life. I also spent a year caring for dogs at a training facility that ran hunt tests/field trials. My personal dogs have lived long and healthy lives. I currently have 2 rescues, with one of them being a tripod. I have a special love for senior pets and those with disabilities. I am familiar & comfortable with rescues that may need extra reassurance. My tripod was shot & abused, & it has taken a lot of love to overcome fears. I am familiar with giving space & time to gain confidence & trust. I am willing to learn care for any animal in your home, not just dogs & cats. I enjoy sending photo updates & summaries of what your pet is up to while you are away! Available for FaceTime & video chatting as well. I am a 2x brain tumor survivor with a host of medical problems. The great thing for you is that I do not work! I balance home life with medical appointments, and enjoy spending time with my 2 “fur-kids”. My days can be flexible. I can usually be available quickly, but do prefer planning in advance. If you are a senior citizen or high risk, I maintain a safe lifestyle for my health & those around me. I am vaccinated & willing to take any precautions in your home if desired. I can take your pet for bathroom breaks, play fetch or interactive games, feed/water them, or I can just hang out with them & read a book for a few hours to keep them company. I have my fur-kids at home, so I cannot be gone for more than 4-5 hours. I cannot have other pets in my home ( I rent my home). I will have to travel to yours. However, most days I am free to check on your pet several times. My radius on Roover is 5 miles from my house. While I cannot stay in your home overnight because of my own pets, I live close enough for multiple visits & can spend extra time with your fur-kids. I am willing to discuss discounted rates if you need multiple visits in one day. In addition to following your plan for your pet, I always insure the environment is safe before taking your pet out & make sure they haven’t gotten into any mischief indoors. All pets are secured on leash for their safety outside of the home. I do have puzzle games that I can bring with me for mental exercise if desired or we can enjoy their existing favorite activities to allow you to be away from your pet stress free!

About: I’ve had dogs all my life, from childhood family pets, to dogs of my own. We’ve always treated them like part of our family, with lots of attention, care & love (walking, playing, feeding & bathing). I have a very open and flexible schedule that allows me to be home & available during the week as needed. I can work with your schedule. I have a fenced in back yard, currently no pets, and 2 children ages 16 & 11 who are also really great with pets (here every other week). Plenty of space for a crate (if needed), but lots of room to play, relax and watch endless birds & squirrels outside too. We offer a very peaceful, organized & clean indoor environment, classical music, with lots of attention, affection and playtime. Bathing & extra pampering if requested.

“I cannot recommend Jordan highly enough! From the very first meeting, it was clear that she truly cares about animals and treat them like family. She took the time to get to know my dogs — Nala, Hudson, & Beau — and made sure they were comfortable and happy while we were away. Throughout the sitting, Jordan sent regular updates, including photos and little notes about how the day went. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing that our pups were in such capable and loving hands. When we returned, everything was just as we left it — clean, tidy, and everybody was relaxed and well cared for. It’s clear that Jordan goes above and beyond. Whether it's feeding, walking, playing, or just keeping them company, she does it all with genuine care. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and truly great with animals, Jordan is the one! I absolutely cannot recommend her enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
