About: I currently run a small, scale sanctuary where we focus on roosters, but residents include dogs, cats, bunnies, ducks and hens, too! In my eyes, animals are family. I know what it's like to trust someone with your baby and home. I provide the care that I would want for my animals in each visit. I'm not much of a runner, but I can run for a little and can walk for miles. I don't mind doing some grooming if you need additional help with that while you're away. About: I follow instructions very carefully and will do any tasks asked. I often help neighbors, friends and family with their pets. I love animals and im very attentive to them. My schedule is almost always free and if I am not free I can clear my schedule with no problem even if it’s same day booking I like to try and keep my eyes on pets so they don’t get into anything and if they do I’ll clean up very well

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and currently have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels of my own, so I’m very familiar with the day-to-day responsibility that comes with looking after a pet. From feeding schedules and medication to exercise, playtime, and keeping to their routines, I understand how important consistency is. I also grew up with larger breeds including Labrador Retrievers, Rottweilers, and Golden Retrievers, so I’m confident and comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending quality time with animals rather than just “checking in” on them. Since I naturally spend a lot of time at home, I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention, companionship, and care while you’re away. If they’re ready for a nap, I’m equally happy to sit nearby and work on my laptop so they still have someone keeping them company.

About: My boy kitty passed away last year at 14 years old. He became very sick in his last 2 years so his care required daily shots, weekly vet visits. I became very proficient in giving pills by mouth as well. He was big and strong and didn’t like the vet or car rides so i learned how to best manage a very scared kitty. My mom had a senior dog who developed diabetes so I cared for him in my home for the last few years of his life. I gave him insulin shots twice a day and performed his medical care. I gave him meds by mouth and performed other care duties. I work part-time and am in school at ODU online so my hours are flexible. I live in the Richmond area and service a fairly wide range as I have my own reliable transportation. I prefer to pet-sit in the clients home as I have a cat myself. My grandma rescued hunting dogs, particularly hounds and beagles, when I was growing up, so I am safety minded when it comes to pets, especially ones who get scared easily.

About: I have taken care of many of my family and friends dogs when they go on vacation. I love going on walks with my dog and pup-cup trips to Starbucks I am a nursing student at UVA. I have clinicals in Richmond 2-3 times a week but am able to provide care any day of the week, and I am available most weekends. We do not lay any food, or harmful objects out for the dog. We have plenty of toys and a lot of space for the dog to roam around downstairs and upstairs.

About: I’ve been watching both cats and dogs for friends and neighbors for a few years now, and now that I have more flexibility in my schedule I would love to provide my services to others! I have a breadth of experience caring for my former pets and my home, as well as house and pet sitting for friends and for my clients. I grew up on a farm and cared for goats, horses, cows, dogs, cats, sheep, and poultry. I make an excellent house/petsitter due to my experience with and love for animals and my tidy and loving personality! ** I charge $45 / night for 1-6 night house stays, but have a sliding scale for longer sits (negotiable at the time of request). I am open to traveling farther distances for 1+ week sits. I am attending VCU for my MSW M-F from 8-4, so I have limited availability for midday potty breaks/check-ins during the week, but I have open availability most evenings and weekends. For boarding requests, my partner works from my home and is available to offer potty breaks/check-ins for pets while I’m at school. I’m happy with staying overnight for housesitting or sharing my home for boarding! I have the utmost care and respect for my clients pets and homes and treat them as if they were my own.
