About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the last 12 years including my own and those of family and friends. I currently have 2 dogs with varying health needs who require a lot of love and attention, so I’m very comfortable meeting any needs your pet may have. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, medication administration, specialized diets, varying exercise needs, reactive dogs, and some experience with dogs undergoing training programs. I am currently a graduate student so I’ll have plenty of time throughout the day to care for your pet. I am available week days and weekends. I don’t offer boarding but I am happy to comply with any requests you have including crating, several walks daily, yard play, in-house rules, or taking your fur baby to a local park. My own dogs are big cuddlers so I have no issue if your pet likes a little extra attention. You and your pet’s comfort is my priority.

“Maleny took great care of our 3 cats while we were away. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. She was so diligent in each of the check-in summaries to address the things I had mentioned as my main concerns. Our cats always miss us while we are gone but I can tell they were well cared for while we were away 💗”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats my whole life with family pets, but I’ve had my own for 10 years. My animals are family, and I promise to treat yours the same. I have experience taking care of puppies and kittens (my husband and I have fostered 2 litters of kittens), and have a rescue pit-mix. I am also experienced with taking care of animals who are anxious as I had to work through that with my dog. My friends rely on me to take care of their animals when needed. I’m currently working full time as a teacher, but my schedule is pretty flexible during the summer. Right now, during the week I can drop by in the late afternoon/evenings, or any time on the weekends. During the summer, I can drop by any time during the week! I have a fenced yard and a dog that gets along will with others! If I do house sitting, I stay at the house and spend as much time there with your pet as possible.

About: 🐾 Personalized Dog Care: In-Home Stays & Drop-In Visits We’re thrilled to be back on Rover, offering both overnight home stays and drop-in visits for your furry family members. For overnight stays, we welcome one small or gentle guest at a time into our home, ensuring personalized attention and a peaceful environment. For drop-in visits, I come to your home for 30 or 60 minutes to check in, provide care, and ensure your dog is happy and comfortable in their own space. 🐶 About Me I’m an artist and business owner who works from home, alongside my two Boston Terriers: Mahana, who is 13 and vision-impaired, and Mayu, who is 2. Because of Mahana’s special needs, we focus on hosting small or very gentle dogs to ensure a calm, loving environment. Your dog will never be alone, and they’ll enjoy a variety of activities, from walks and playtime to car rides and puzzle games. We also provide regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. 🌳 Our Home & Yard We have a fenced-in backyard with grass, trees, a doggy pool, and a covered porch, giving your pup plenty of options to relax and play in a safe and comfortable space. I work from home, so your pup will get lots of attention and exercise! We enjoy daily walks to the park for fetch, backyard playtime, and occasional adventures to the coast. Your dog will be part of an active, loving routine every day. 🐾 How I Care for Pets Whether your pup is staying in my home or I’m dropping in at yours, I offer attentive, personalized care rooted in love, routine, and respect for each animal’s unique needs. 🏡 In My Home (Overnight Stays) I care for one guest at a time to ensure a calm, focused environment — especially important as my elder Boston Terrier, Mahana, is vision-impaired. I maintain a gentle, consistent routine that includes: • Daily walks to the park • Backyard play (fetch, sunbathing, puzzles) • Indoor cuddle time and enrichment • Personalized meal and medication schedules • Photo updates and check-ins for peace of mind Your dog becomes part of our family — sleeping indoors, joining us throughout the day, and never left alone. 🏠 In Your Home (Drop-In Visits) For drop-ins, I follow your instructions closely to maintain your dog’s normal rhythm. I’ll make sure they’re: • Fed and given any required meds • Walked or let out for potty breaks • Engaged with play, affection, or quiet companionship • Checked for water, safety, and comfort Each visit includes a detailed update and photos so you feel connected and reassured while you’re away.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life—growing up with cats, rabbits, hamsters, chicks, and ducks. Since 2018, I’ve raised a leash-reactive rescue dog, working through behavior training, crate training, and potty training. He’s now a well-adjusted senior, and I’ve developed a deep understanding of pet behavior, patience, and compassionate care. I’m currently pursuing my nursing degree and seeking part-time work. I’m flexible throughout the week, with availability after 4pm on Saturdays. Reliable and consistent. I’m committed to providing dependable care that fits your pet’s routine and needs. I have a securely fenced yard, a calm and friendly senior dog, and a clean, pet-friendly space where your fur baby will feel safe and loved. My goal is always to provide a nurturing environment that supports your pet’s well-being, whether in your home or mine.

“I’ve booked Mykylie twice for drop in visits with my cat. She is absolutely fantastic! She gives caring and detailed updates daily, and takes the cutest pictures to send. She truly loves animals and I’m always so grateful for the care she takes in looking after my kitty cat.”

“Bri was great with Demi and flexible with my schedule for a last minute booking! Thanks so much :)”

“If I could give 10 stars I would. I’m new to the area and having an anxious dog going through some major changes has been challenging. The first night Mickenzie came over to let him out, Beanie wouldn’t let her touch him and growled the whole time. He wouldn’t even eat a treat that she left in front of him on the couch! Mickenzie was gentle, patient, and communicative through the entire process. The following day she agreed to come out on her own time to meet beanie with me and let him get more acquainted in a safe space with mom. She was kind and understanding even as he barked and growled at her throughout the visit. That night she came back to try again. She took her time, was able to connect, Beanie let her pet him, pick him up, and put a harness on. She was able to let him out to the bathroom and get him back in without any issue other than the time and patience it took from her. Mickenzie is excellent. I HIGHLY recommend her especially for those who are anxious leaving their babies in the care of someone they don’t know. I’m so grateful and will continue to use her as often as possible. Thank you, Mickenzie!”

“Mary is a wonderful dog mom to her well behaved and gentle Luna, a pup she adopted from the shelter. I've had Mary cat-sits my cat Luck often and Mary is responsible, timely, and cares about the animals she's in charge of. Mary also fosters kittens. I trust Mary to take care of your fur-child!”

Ashley R.

“Ashley took care of my Goldendoodle Gracie towards the end of my pregnancy and during labor. I was nervous about leaving Gracie with someone as she is naturally shy and she was on extra alert with all the changes going on at home. However, Gracie did really well in Ashley's care! It was such peace of mind knowing that Gracie was being loved and taken care of while I was in hospital. Gracie came back calm, happy and suitably tuckered out after playing with Ashley's dog and going on walks and hikes with Ashley. Ashley was easy to coordinate with and followed our puppy sitting instructions. To this day Ashley is one of Gracie's favorite people and I would definitely recommend Ashley to take care of your pooch! ”

Alexis B.
“Hello there, To whom it may concern, I have known Alexis for about fifteen years now. She loves dogs and other animals. She has her own dog, Mo, when Mo chose Alexis he had some leash reactive issues. well, through time, patience, training and being a loving caring person they were able to workout those reactive tendencies. And now Mo is the best dog he can be. If I needed someone to watch or care for my dog, I would most definitely have her! So, if you need someone to care for your pet/friend I would trust Alexis. Thanks for your time! Oren B.”

“Sarah is one of the biggest pet lovers that I know! As her mom, she was the little girl who would be standing in our driveway with lost pets (or just pets in general) from our neighborhood. She always wanted to rescue them and make sure they were safe. She has a lion head bunny of her own now and treats her like her child! She’s always been obsessed with animals and would definitely provide amazing care for any pet! Sarah is also reliable and compassionate towards people and animals. I highly recommend her!”
