About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! Growing up, I was surrounded by all kinds of pets—from dogs and cats to hamsters and rats—and I’ve always loved caring for animals. I’ve also had the opportunity to foster kittens and gain hands-on experience with a variety of pets. My mom was a veterinary technician for 30 years, so I grew up learning a lot about animal care, behavior, and what it means to keep pets happy and healthy. At 18, I started my own pet-sitting business back home in Connecticut. When I moved out of state, I left the business behind, but I’ve always wanted to get back into pet sitting—and now feels like the perfect time! I currently have two cats and two ball pythons of my own. My schedule is also very flexible right now, which means I’m able to give your pets plenty of time, attention, and care. My time spent with your pets will involve lots of love and cuddles, walks and playtime, as well as treats as appropriate. I also have experience with administering medications to pets, so if this is something you need assistance with just let me know! I know how much our pets mean to us, and I’ll treat yours like they’re part of my own family. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry (or scaly!) family members! 🐾 I'm currently in between jobs and looking for something part-time so I have plenty of time to care for your babies, whether that be drop-ins or boarding. I truly love all types of animals 🤍 I can be available for housesitting as well as pet sitting as this allows me to be more flexible while still working my full-time job. (Mon-Fri 8:30-5:00). About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life whether it was for my family friends or neighbors. I have 5 Great Danes, one Doberman, a chihuahua, and 4 cats. I’ve dealt with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Puppies and seniors I have taken care of and had my own to take care of. As of right now I am completely open for anytime any day I do not have a vehicle during the day though so I will need days or hours in advance to know! About: Back in 2022 I had one girl ask if I can watch her dog and I told her of course I love dogs and then after that I had so many more people asked me after I told them that I watch dogs and cats and ever since then I absolutely loved what I did. Seeing different types of pets with different personalities made me love it more. So I work throughout the week and I wanted to start only on the weekends first just to get myself through the door but maybe in the future I can make this a full time job Mostly a lot of the animals I took care of I got to be apart of there homes all of them so I got to stay over take care of them play with them take them on long walks feed them and just show them lots and lots of love and attention cause that’s what they need. We are very happy with Sarah! I have a large pet family that are very shy, not used to having house guests and who have never had a pet sitter before and she was very sensitive to our needs. I have 2 senior dogs, 13 & 14 and I was worried they would take time to warm up to her, but on the second visit they ran right up to her with wagging tails! I have 5 cats, 4 of which were rescued as semi feral about a year 1/2 ago. She was playing and petting one of my shy cats like they were old friends by the second visit. I really appreciate her awareness of my pets sensitivities and her ability to make them feel comfortable! She is also willing to work with me as a helicopter pet mom so we couldn’t be happier that we’ve found someone I feel safe leaving my babies with!
