About: I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely love caring for animals. I take time to understand each pet’s personality and needs—whether that’s playtime, quiet companionship, or extra attention. You can count on me to treat your pet like family and keep you updated so you always feel at ease. I take care of my three cats morning and night, feeding them three times a day with fresh water at every meal. This routine has taught me the importance of consistency, attention, and creating a calm environment for pets. I’m experienced in providing loving care, monitoring their needs closely, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable throughout the day. I no longer have my dog, but I am more than comfortable with dogs as well! When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize maintaining their regular routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I follow your instructions carefully, whether it’s feeding schedules, exercise, or medication—and give each pet plenty of attention and affection. I make sure their environment stays clean and safe, and I provide updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

“Ashlend was awesome! I found her very last minute due to some last minute plans. Even though she already had other dogs she was taking care of she made it work. She made sure to come meet everyone ahead of time and sent sweet pictures. When we got home it was like we never left because I think everyone was so comfortable with Ashlend here. Highly recommend!”

About: Animals have always had an extremely special place in my heart. Ever since I was a kid I’ve helped care for my family’s own pets: feeding them, caring for their health, giving baths, taking them outside and on walks, and pretty much anything else having a pet entails. I also am in the process of beginning volunteering with the cats and dogs at Lawrence Humane Society! I am a full-time student, but I am available whenever I am not busy with classes. I also have a few volunteering shifts throughout each week that I need to work around, and a job (that I will be done with next month). I provide them with food and water, clean up their litter, play with them, take the dogs on walks, and show all the animals lots of love! I am also flexible and open to doing whatever I am able to.

“Absolutely phenomenal care for my pups and my home. Emily texted and sent pics daily keeping me up to date on everything with the dogs. Highly recommend her to care for your furry family members!”

When I got here, she was hesitant to come near me, but once we bonded it was like no other connection I've had. Then, my nephew’s cat had kittens, July 1st 2022. I went and visited them ever couple of days. I had only planned to take one, Lucy, but Oliver was my little dude so I took both. But know I will give them the time during the time I am with them to assess their needs. I will give them lots of love. Walks, brushing etc. Also clean up hair and other things as needed.

Ryan D.
“Ryan has a very special love for all animals. Whenever I have joined him checking in on his neighbors pets, he always goes above and beyond. Not only does he do everything for the pet(s) and more, he does that for the household and family as well. For example, puts away dishes, wipes down the counter, and walks dogs even when not expected by his families. Would trust him with my own pets everyday, as I am assured they are getting so much love!”

“Case has watched our dogs for the past several years. My partner and I previously lived in Oklahoma and had 2 dogs at the time, both of which Case watched on several occasions. Our pups were always excited to see Case and well cared for during our time away. Most recently, we traveled back to OK for a family wedding and Case watched our dog during that time. Our dog has special dietary needs and Case was very conscientious and respectful of this. He is attentive, cautious, and responsible. Case clearly loves dogs and will make a great dog owner one day.
