About: Between Elijah and Sarah, we have taken care of 5 personal pets, including puppies and big dogs. We have a border collie/lab mix who would love to have a friend around to play with! We have a large fenced in backyard perfect for a dog who loves to run. If you have a larger dog who is friendly and good with cats this is the perfect home for your dog to stay! We have a strict one-client policy so you have the guarantee your pets will be the only ones staying with us. We both work from home, so we are readily available at all times to take care of any dog’s needs, including many breaks to play with the doggos and run around with them outside. We have experience handling pills and can watch any high-needs dog. We have a large fenced in backyard and there are very few circumstances where someone is not home. “Michelle was so amazing, it warmed my heart to know someone was actually giving my cat love and attention as much as I would because that’s usually a pet owners biggest fear. I was out of the country for around two weeks and worried about my cat because she tends to be a little shy and scared of new people and typically i only know how to deal with her. Michelle was perfect !! letting my cat slowly warm up to her presence visit by visit. She would send photos every visit and that was very reassuring, she would play with my cat and feed her and cuddle with gigi. I would get photos of gigi playing, running, and cuddling which is not her norm for when she meets new people so i was very happy with that.There wasn’t a moment where I was worried about my gigi. Michelle is so nice and compassionate and sweet and it shows because my gigi warmed up to her, she responds to messages and updates me where i felt reassured and comfortable, I could not be happier that i found her to take care of my cat and i was honestly lucky to have her as my pet sitter.I would definitely choose her again over anyone if I ever had to leave my cat again but in general with any animal because she actually cares.”

About: I’ve had pets since, forever! When I was younger 3 of our dogs had puppies at the same time & then we had 27 dogs to care for! I personally had a yorkie for 8 years. I have so much patience and love for animals and they are much more than animals & pets to me. As much as they are here for us, we reciprocate that love with care, respect, responsibility, structure, attention, and so much more. I’ve felt that my dog was like a child to me, and I know that’s the same for others so there’s so much responsibility in caring for others animals and is no small thing when it comes to looking after them. I moved from Seattle to Chicago a few months ago and have been looking for a side job that feeds my soul and fills my heart. And my friend is doing this job and recommended it to me. As I do have a fenced yard, I can only have a pet at my apartment for a few hours a day but not overnight. Therefore I’m mainly able to provide service at the clients home. I’m available during the day and overnight.
