About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I started out by dog sitting for my family, and over time I’ve become the go-to person whenever someone needs reliable, loving care for their pets. I regularly dog sit my dad’s 5-year-old Husky, who often stays with me for weeks at a time. I’m comfortable with high-energy dogs and know how important daily exercise and mental stimulation are—especially for working breeds. I also care for my mom and step-dad’s two Pomskies. I’ve stayed in their home for a full week and have also hosted them at mine for extended periods. I’m familiar with routines, feeding schedules, crate use, and keeping dogs comfortable in new environments. Most recently, I watched my sister’s two mixed-breed dogs (a Bernedoodle and a Malinois/Boxer mix) for nine days in their home. They’re very active, so I built their days around walks, play, enrichment activities, and plenty of affection to keep them happy and engaged. Because I’ve cared for multiple dogs at one time and for extended stays, I’m confident managing different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for while you’re away. I work a regular schedule from 8:00–4:30 each day, but I build pet care into my daily routine. I’m able to come home on my lunch break to let animals out, check in, or take them for a quick walk. I’m also available on Saturdays after 12:30 PM, and I’m fully available all day on Sundays and Mondays. This gives me plenty of flexibility for drop-ins, walks, or hosting dogs that do well with a predictable routine. In Clients’ Homes: I respect each home and follow all instructions carefully. I stick to your dog’s daily routine, including feeding times, walks, medication, crate training, or any special needs. I keep dogs engaged through walks, play, structured downtime, and enrichment tailored to their personality. I also provide updates and photos so you always know how your pets are doing. About: I am a Registered Veterinarian Technician at an emergency clinic. I have extended experience with animal care and am very knowledgeable in veterinary medicine. I am CPR certified and also a certified Fear free professional as well as Feline Friendly Certified. I will be sure to never make your pets feel uncomfortable and will take my time gaining their trust. I currently work Wednesday-Saturday 5pm-2am. I will follow all instructions for the care of your animals, I believe it is important to maintain their routine and confort. I will love them like they are my own. I am comfortable with any age of animal, medication administration's, and any species. Animal care is my passion, hobby and love. I am available all day and allnight being gone only from 5pm-2am Wednesday-Saturday. If theres a specific feeding, or walking schedule: I will follow it as long as I am not at work. Routine is important to limit stress of our beloved pets. I will stick to their routine and ensure they are comfortable and relaxed. I respect your home and will clean up any messes made. About: First of all let’s start off with I want to be an successful veterinarian within the next 2-5 years and you’d be so much help ! Currently trying to work at petsmart and / or petco ! Volunteered at wayside waifs for 2 years and grew up with 15-30 / 40-60 pound dogs ! Cats were rare around the house but I’ve had a lot of kittens. 1 bunny. Free on weekends and weekdays . Currently unemployed and attend school . I have a calm 7yr old boy that came 2 months early and a chill daughter💙 I’ll more than likely be home alone with your little snuggle buddies 🤗 oh and I can make any trips for you as long as the cost is covered 💙💙💙 i’m a full-time mom to my 7yr old and 2yr old so i don’t work at the moment.. id love to actually sit someone’s loving animal.. i kind of need it sometimes . postpartum can be real annoying at times 🙄 i’m pet friendly and also the people around me 💓 your little fur babe(s) will definitely get spoiled non-stop . This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
