About: As much as we want to bring our pets everywhere with us sometimes, we can’t. But that shouldn’t mean your pet isn’t living their best life possible. I can check in on your pet for some company, pets and play time, treats, meals, water, and a walk. I can also do anything else they may need. My goal is to give your pet a better day and give you a peace of mind knowing your pet is happy. I grew up on a farm with all animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, and horses. I was in a dog club growing up and learned basic dog training skills. Over the years I’ve cared for puppies and senior dogs needing special assistance and medications. I’ve helped care for multiple animals and hope to have the opportunity to care for yours too. I’m working part time in (human) healthcare. As much as I love people, I want to spend more time with animals on my days off. I work every Monday and Wednesday and am busy Saturday most of the time. My schedule changes once in a while but this is the general availability. I am mostly available morning and afternoon until about 3pm. Please ask for any specific times though anytime and I’ll see if it ends up working out. Thanks! 😊 My goal is to make sure your dog is as well cared for as if you were there yourself. I can do what you request. I can feed, water, potty break, medication administration, play time and pets, or go for a walk. I can leave them out or crate when I leave.
About: 10 years dog owner and lifetime cat owner. Very patient and caring with animals. Good at following instructions if special care is needed. Not scared of large dogs. I work part time from home so my schedule is pretty flexible when it comes to pet sitting walks or what ever the job requires. I have two large dogs Rottweiler and Pitt Rottweiler mix and three cats. Dogs are cat friendly. Large yard and crate is available upon request if needed.
About: I’m a dedicated dog owner myself. I understand the daily care, patience, and love that pets need because I live it every day with my own pup. I’m experienced with high-energy dogs, puppies who are still learning, and senior dogs that require a little extra attention and gentle care. I know how important structure and consistency are, so I focus on keeping pets safe, happy, and comfortable while sticking to their normal routines. Whether it’s playtime, walks, training reinforcement, or giving meds, I treat every dog like my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. As a startup founder, I have the freedom to set my own meeting times, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for pets throughout the day. In my care, pets get plenty of walks, playtime, and attention. I make sure they feel comfortable and safe. I can also help reinforce training, stick to feeding routines, and keep them active and happy while you’re away.
About: I worked as a veterinary technician for 5 years and have had my own animals for a long time! I'm comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages and have worked as a pet sitter since I was 17 (13 years). I currently work part-time and have a hybrid schedule, so I'm able to be relatively flexible with my visits and walks. I'm available some weekends as well. I can crate dogs after walks or a drop in visit as needed, and I'm comfortable feeding and administering medications for whichever pets may need them.

“Michael is amazing! He’s been a life saver for me on a few occasions when a last minute trip has come up. He communicates wonderfully and you can really tell he cares about your fur babies!”

About: I have connected with dogs my entire life, and I wouldn't have it any other way! I enjoy the company of dogs so much that I have spent years in the pet care industry, and have been officially a "dog mom" for past nine years to my own delightful fur babies. I have worked and lived with dogs of all breeds, energy levels, and abilities and I love them all! I am currently looking for new clients who are looking for mid-day dog walker. I am a freelancer so I am able to control my over schedule. I am so grateful to be able to provide year-round dog walking services. As someone who loves nature, dogs, and the seasons, I enjoy providing regular walks to pets whose parents may not be able to fit a mid-day walk in their daily schedule. With any dog-sitting services, I also provide regular walks as well as the feeding, caretaking, and snuggling of your pets!

About: New to Rover? Save $20 on your first booking with me: Code: ELIZAE67522 I have owned pets for over 20 years and taken care of them like they were family—because they are! I've opened my home to cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, fish, reptiles, ferrets, and rats over the years and loved them all! I've managed vet visits and administered medications to senior cats, including injections and oral medications. I have experience fostering sick cats for a local pet society, giving them a safe environment and nursing them back to good health! I particularly excel at senior animal care for cats and dogs. While I love to play with pets who have energy to burn, I'm happy to meet older and calmer pets where they are and at their energy level if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing sitter. I love animals and would be thrilled to make sure they have a happy time while you're away. As a mother of three and a massive animal lover, I couldn't be more qualified (and more excited!) to take care of your pets. I am self-employed and work remotely. Because of this, I have a very flexible schedule and can plan my work around pet sitting with ease! In your home, I can take care of your animals, plants, collect mail, and do light cleaning! I have room in my home for any smaller animals in an enclosure, like reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more! If you prefer separation from other pets, our large extra bedroom at night so they're not left with my pets unsupervised (or at all, depending on your preferences!)

About: I own a golden retriever but also grew up with dogs. I’ve trained a puppy and am very familiar with that process. My pup is very well trained herself! Im a graduate school student who has class Tuesday and Fridays. So I would love to take your dog on a walk any other day of the week! I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have an electronically fenced in yard. Across the street, there is a great place to take dogs on a walk. I do have a dog, and she is in love with other dogs. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
