About: I have always been around animals in some form or other! My love for animals came during childhood when I had several dogs and cats... after moving out and being on my own, my spouse and I have adopted several cats and a dog and it has been a life-changing event! I realized that animals resonate with our souls and this resonation drove me to seek employment at a small clinic where I was employed for over two years. I have too many pets for a comfortable home-stay, but I'm happy to drop in multiple times daily. I always double, triple check that a key is hidden or placed well. I'm very attentive using doors, checking multiple times if I lock and watch the doors going in and out. I can follow very specific feeding or diet instructions if needed.
About: I'm very passionate about dogs, animals, wildlife, etc! I love to hike and be active outdoors as much as possible. I have a variety of animal experience, I grew up on an Indiana farm caring for many animals. I worked at Petsmart as a dog groomer for 2 years, so I can trim/grind nails and bathe your dog :) I also worked at a veterinary hospital for 2 semesters. I'm currently in graduate school going for Master's of Biology. My classes are online so I have a very flexible, open schedule! Dog walking and sitting will help fund my schooling. I have experience working with almost all dog breeds, so I am able to personalize time spent with each dog according to their needs and comfort level. I have dog sat for many friends and family members in the past, even some with health concerns. I always train my own dogs, and have gone through Petsmart training curriculum to gain more knowledge on pet training. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
