Boarding dogs will sleep inside my house in their designated crate and then be included in family life and activities during the days. My personal dogs also sleep in crates. I believe this is important for dogs to have their own personal space to relax and feel safe enough to spend the night. Temperament dependent, dogs will be rotated in and out of daily life with the use of crates. However no dog will spend hours on end in crates. There is a rotation system ensuring everyone gets attention and exercise with time to be out and stretch.

I usually just ask clients to bring a favorite toy and or dog bed if they want to. It helps with separation anxiety. If not I have lots of extra dog beds and dog blankets. People usually board their dogs because they can’t take them with them for work trips or vacations, so I like them to feel like they are on vacation too! I have experience with administering medication, dog walks, continuing a training regimen set by owner or introducing new behavioral solutions, caring for high anxiety animals with patience and gentleness. Also I have experience in caring for geriatric and special needs animals: diaper changing, getting pets in and out of wheelchairs, and care and cleaning for incontinence. About: I have worked at a vets office going on 8 years now as a vet technician. I studied animal science at Auburn University. I have dog/cat sat for several years. I work an early shift as a superintendent. With my schedule I would still be able to do early early morning around 3/3:30 and mid afternoon check ins. I have 4 dogs that love to have friends to play with. I have a fenced in yard, but walk mine daily. I am a few minutes from Albertville’s Dog Park where my dogs love to go run and play.
