Dante was Great. This was Bubba's first time being babysat by someone that him and I didn't know. Dante kept me updated on Bubba's progress throughout the day which gave me relief because I was just as nervous as Bub. He's very pleasant, excellent in communication, and l can tell that he genuinely love dogs.

Bronwen is an excellent pet dog caregiver. She went out of her way to make sure Tootsie was comfortable, safe and enjoyed her experience. Her 2 dogs are very pleasant and add some playfulness to Tootsie’s visit. Her yard is lovely and a joy for my small dog to explore. Her home is comfortably set up for her to share her affection for the dogs under her care.

I truly enjoy dog walks, park visits, and building meaningful relationships with the pets and families I serve. I provide dependable, compassionate pet care, including regular visits, dog walking, and transportation to veterinary appointments to help keep your furry family members healthy and happy. Services Offered: Dog Walking Drop-In Visits Boarding House Sitting Medication administration (including injections) Special care upon request, such as diapering, assisted feeding, and cleansing With over 25 years of experience as a pet owner and caregiver, I have cared for animals with allergies, cardiac and pulmonary disease, heart failure, dementia, and incontinence. Playtime is structured, supervised, and balanced with plenty of rest, affection, and cuddling. I strictly follow each pet owner’s feeding instructions, schedules, and care preferences to maintain consistency and reduce stress. I am experienced in administering medications, including oral medications and injections/shots, and I do so carefully and confidently according to your veterinarian’s guidance. About: Back home, I rescued and cared for several dogs while helping them recover and find loving, responsible families. I have always felt a deep connection to animals and enjoy spending time with dogs of different sizes and personalities. I learn quickly and follow instructions carefully to ensure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. My goal is to treat every dog as if they were my own, prioritizing their happiness and well-being. I work part-time and online, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to adapt to each pet’s routine and needs. I am available throughout the week and can provide regular attention, potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I understand that consistency is important for pets, and I do my best to maintain their usual schedule so they feel comfortable and secure while their family is away. I personally prefer house sitting because pets are often happiest and most relaxed in their own familiar environment. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, preferences, and any special instructions provided by their family. My goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible while providing attentive, loving, and reliable care. If needed, I may be able to host pets in my apartment on a case-by-case basis, but my primary focus is providing care in the pet’s own home where they feel safest and most comfortable.

About: I’m a devout animal lover with three dogs of my own (including a senior) and one cat. Caring for animals is truly one of my favorite joys in life! My ultimate goal is to give your dog a home away from home when they’re in my care. My dogs range in age from 5-11 years and weights of 11lbs to 55lbs. My cat is 7 years old and a tabby. My senior dog has lung cancer so I’m also experienced in delivering oral medication, round the clock care and attention, and moving at their pace. Your baby will be well taken care of. I work remote so I am able to give your dog lots of love and attention throughout the day. Your dog will be able to take potty breaks every two hours in the fenced-in yard and spend time outside. We typically go for walks in the early morning and late evening. My Rover calendar is flexible updated daily so that I can support any urgent needs, where necessary. Boarding & Daycare: My ultimate goal is to give your dog a home away from home! I only board one dog at a time so that I can give them adequate individualized attention all throughout the day. You will not find a sitter in Wilmington that is as attentive as I am. My pets are kept separate during boarding. Your dog will have access to the entire first floor and the fenced in-backyard. I have a dedicated bedroom for boarding where I can sleep with dogs who may have separation anxiety to ensure they are comfortable. Drop-in visits & Walks: I‘ll take my time getting to know your dog and make sure they’re comfortable with me being there. I like to sit with them for a few minutes before and after each walk to feel out their energy levels. On walks, I recognize that this is their social time so I go at their pace and let them get plenty of sniff time. I am very respectful of your home and will follow your instructions closely.

About: I got my first dog when I was 18 years old. She was the sweetest pup I have ever met! Since then dogs have become an irreplaceable part of my life. I have cared for puppies, senior dogs & few dogs with behavioral needs. I have fostered dogs through the years and learnt how meaningful this experience can be. My last foster was a young adult who was a year old. Open to pets all day subjected to advance notice/short notice. I'm mostly home so I can be flexible with your routine and needs. A small heads up is always appreciated. I live in an apartment complex which is 5 mins away from 2 dog parks. I'll take your dog for daily exercise and morning, afternoon and evening. I live in a neighborhood which has lots of space to walk for regular/short walks. I have a 7 year old mild tempered female dog who will provide excellent care and comfort while you are away. I can easily crate your dog if needed, I have a large crate.

Super thankful for Olivia! We’re so happy we found her! It’s been a challenging journey to find the doggy day care for our 11 week pup. When we finally found Olivia, she allowed us to have an informal interview with her which we were super thankful for because for some reason some sitters on here finds that offensive (?). She welcomed us into her gorgeous home and

Our dog Sage loves going to Patti & Andy’s house. She does daycare with them 3 days a week and always has a blast. We switched over from Dogtopia months ago and that has been the best decision we made for our furbaby. Sage always comes home happy, tired, and clean. Patti does a great job managing all our girl’s needs and makes sure all the dogs play safely.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Holly Oak

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Holly Oak on Rover is $35 per day (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of June 2026, there are 2,249 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Holly Oak. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Holly Oak commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in DE ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,249 sitters in Holly Oak, 85% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
