Dog Walkers in Holiday Shores, IL

About: I have grown up in a household with dogs, mainly the medium to large sized breeds. I have experience with all sizes of dogs though, as I have taken care of a variety of sized dogs for friends, family, and neighbors. I have taken care of cats and dogs when needing medical care - especially giving meds and minor wound care - and also have groomed and walked many types and sizes of dogs. I love making sure the pets are healthy and happy. I have volunteered at an animal shelter to help with the care of animals - providing play time, meds, and grooming of both dogs and cats. I'm currently a full time student at SIUE and I'm in the MFA art studio program. The fall I have 3 in person classes with a mixed schedule. Mondays and Wednesdays are limited as I have a 3 hour morning class and 3 hour evening class, both being studio classes with some cleanup. Please note this as a potential issue due to the limited time for drop ins, walks, and check ins on a house sitting. Tuesdays and Thursdays are better as they just have one class. I will work with you ahead of time if there are any plans I have that will keep me away for longer than 4 hours at a time outside of these times. During house sitting, I can provide food, medicine, play time, walks, and many other services. I also am willing to assist with house related things - bringing in mail, taking trash out for trash pickup, etc - just let me know and we can work it out. For walks and drop ins, my availability is generally flexible outside of classes and will work with you to determine the best time(s) to be there. I can also provide some house related services (like bring in mail and packages) upon request. Please note I do have in person classes at SIUE Monday through Thursday. I am available to help with the pets at the clients home. I can either stay at your place or go home at night, which I can work with you based on your needs and comfort. I have experience with gated and non gated yards (so needing to leash the dog when taking out for the potty), gates for inside the house, and crate training. Often I will have my own leash with me so that if anything happens, I'm prepared. As for walks, I often work with the dog(s) to see what triggers them and avoid as much as possible. I know not all dogs are friendly with other dogs or people so I am aware of my surroundings and provide appropriate distance and avoid people and dogs as best as I can.

I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away. I am currently a full time student at Lewis and Clark Community College so I have plenty of time to care for animals on the side! When I’m caring for pets on walks or in your home, I always make sure they feel comfortable and safe. On walks, I’ll go at their pace, make sure they stay hydrated, and give them plenty of time to sniff and explore. About: Hi, thank you so much for stopping by to read through my profile. I’m stoked to start this journey. I have loved and taken care of friend’s and family’s dogs for years. Big, small, medium, even tempered, wild, mellow, I absolutely love them all. I have a 11 year old black lab, who’s slowed down a lot. She is my everything. She just can’t move like she used to and I find something about raising a dog from a young pup to an aging one, so very special and rewarding. If your dog is fast paced or likes to smell every blade of grass, I’m game. Rain, shine, or snow, I’m available. About: Hi! I’m Kaitlyn! I love animals. I have one cat and used to have piggies! I absolutely love taking care of fur babies. I would love to take care of yours too!! I normally don’t accept boarding at my house, since my cats aren’t really fond of dogs. But I’d be more than welcome to stay at your house if that makes you feel comfortable! About: I have been caring for pets of every single kind since I was 8-9 years old. Everyone around me has for sure given me multiple jobs to take care of their animals. Feed, bathe, walk, etc. I also have experience in working in the animal field. I have worked at Metro East Humane Society, and have taken care of many animals. About: I have several years experience in animal care. I have worked at two different doggy daycare/boarding facilities and two animal hospitals. Usually when I dog sit for a family friend or just anyone in general I stay at their house with the dog(s) so they feel comfortable in their own environment. My work hours are as followed; Monday & Thursday: 7-4pm (lunch 12-1pm) Tuesday 8-6pm (lunch 1-2 or 2-3pm) and Wednesday 7-1pm. I am a reliable and a caring person to watch your fur babies! I usually stay at the clients house so the pet is in a familiar environment and won’t get over stimulated. Every dog is different and so I usually meet the clients and/or the dog(s) so they are somewhat familiar with me and aren’t frightened by a stranger while their loved ones are away.

About: I have been dog sitting and caring for pets since I was 10 years old. I have a huge passion for animals and have been volunteering at my local humane society for the past few years. About: I have had several dogs ever since I was young, and I continue to care for my two dogs when I return home from university. I am in charge of feeding them, taking them outside, and bathing them, when necessary. I am tentatively planning to reapply for my summer retail job, so my schedule may vary. My summer break will begin soon, so I will not be working immediately, so I will have plenty of time every day for pet care. My family has a fenced yard with plenty of space for a dog to run around.
