I am currently retired and have a passion for helping people. I think it is essential to have a mature, dependable person you can count on. Caring for pets in the client home requires listening to the client and being aware of any special circumstances. This way the pet feels security with a known routine.

About: I absolutely love taking care of home pets! You will feel stress-free with me while taking care of your animals until you return home. I believe that animals need more love and care than just being let outside and fed. I have house and pet sat for two summers now, and I really love it! I am home from college, looking to have a simpler job during the summer! I am fully available all week and usually the weekends as well unless I'm on a trip! Very open to anything. I have a fenced yard for my pup at home, which helps them have more fun outside! I could also crate the animal if that is what is needed.

About: Hello! I have been a dog sitter for a few of my teachers. I have my own cats. I am also going to school for wildlife biology. I go to school and work, but I have plenty of time in between! I am able to do intermittent visits for feeding and walks, overnight care, and morning visits! I follow directions to a tea and have never had a complaint! I love animals so much and treat other peoples animals as I would treat my own.

About: Before I had children, I had a pointer puppy. She was my world and I adored her like a child. I have had pointers, a springer spaniel, horses, a bird, a series of reptiles and cats since. My late husband was a rural veterinarian, so I am comfortable giving medication to pets. I am currently out of work and have a lot of free time during the week. I am also available most weekends. I can help with your busy schedule! I treat pets and homes as if they are my own. Your space will be cleaner than when you left so that you come home to a relaxing environment. I want to do what is most comfortable for your pets so I will keep their routine as closely as possible as when you're home.

About: I keep water out all day so they are not thirsty. I feed my dogs once in the morning and then before bed. I take them put multiple times a day either to potty or play but they are always on the leash. I play with them inside also. I'm a big cuddler with pets if the animal will allow me haha. They are allowed on furniture bed or couch does not matter. My daughter is a big animal person too she loves both dogs and cats and will sit there and watch TV with them or even fall asleep on them haha. I have had 6 years of personal experience with animals they have not be consecutively but all together it has been 6 years. Im a stay at home mom so im pretty available aside from the random appointments. I have 3 kids that all love animals and always want to play with our own animals or help feed and water them. They want to be the ones to let them out to potty and feed them. I have a big fenced in yard for the dogs and kids to play and run in. They are allowed on furniture so we all cuddle up on the furniture. I also have some dog toys. I can offer a separate space for those dogs that want to me alone.

About: I grew up surrounded by animals (some were rescues and some came from the farm) and now share my home with two cats, so I know that every pet has their own personality. Over the years I’ve provided pet sitting for friends, family, and the military community, offering drop-ins, dog walks, and overnight care. I also volunteered as a foster for dogs and cats, including high-energy puppies and even a senior hospice dog. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes, temperaments, and medical needs—including administering medications. Most of all, I want pet parents to feel secure knowing their animals are safe, loved, and cared for while they’re away. I am currently a stay at home wife, supporting my husband in his military service. And that gives me free time to spend with our loving furr family members and provide the same care to other pets. My schedule is very flexible to help other families out. In my home, pets are treated like family. They’re welcome throughout the house, and depending on the owner’s preference, they may join us on the couch or bed. We have a fenced yard, and I provide potty breaks every 2–3 hours (or more if needed), with daily walks in the cooler morning and evening hours. New pets are introduced to my own cats slowly and safely, using baby gates and separate spaces if necessary. Anxious pets are given a quiet room of their own, puppies enjoy extra playtime, and seniors receive the gentle attention they deserve. I ask owners to share their pet’s daily routine and favorite items like beds, blankets, or toys, so they feel right at home. Every day, I send photos and videos to keep owners connected and reassured that their pets are safe, loved, and comfortable

About: I have had experience with cats my whole life, dogs about half. I own two cats and have had them since I was born, but I have had friends and family with dogs along the years. I pet sit often for my Uncle and Aunt for their three dogs, and other family members for their dogs and or cats. I have plenty experience walking dogs, taking them outside, cleaning up after both animals (litter boxes or not), as well as both playing and feeding them! I am currently working part time, so I will have a decent amount of time to care for your pets! My timeframe does vary, but I am very punctual and flexible with my times. I am unavailable most every Sunday, but I will always let you know what works best for me so I can help you out! I love getting to know their personalities and sitting or playing with them, no matter how mellow or how excited! It is very important to me that I learn their boundaries and behaviors so I can give them my best care, like offering my hands out for them to smell or standing or sitting a certain distance away from them until they are comfortable with me.

About: Growing up in the country, I’ve had years with our dogs, cats and many other animals! Raising and wrangling 3 puppies from the shelter, we had them all 13 years. We had cats from birth to grave, and cared for them inside, outside and in the barn! I love to care for your pups and kitties, now that I don’t have any of my own. Also I compete in dog's varies Dog Sports such as frisbee, dock dogs, dryland mushing, agility and more with my own dogs. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats for 5 years. I’m experienced with pets of all kinds. Newborn and elderly pets, healthy and sick pets, small and large pets. I’m used to dogs who are untrained and can handle pets on the wild side. I’m a full time student at UMKC, and have classes two days a week. The longest stretch of time the pets would be alone would be about three to four hours. My schedule is flexible other than my class times, and can accommodate your pets needs. My services offer taking care of your pets in their homes, so they feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I can fit my schedule around your pet, letting them stick to their normal routines.

About: I have three dogs, two wonderful twin golden retrievers that are 5 years old. They are my whole world and so are my sister and brother’s dogs/cats! My sister has been doing rover in KC for over 7 years so it’s been a great way to experience rover and the necessities for all kinds of pets. Additionally, I’ve been a volunteer at Unchained Melodies puppy nursery and KC Pet Project for the last few years <3 I’m currently a post-graduate student preparing for medical school here in a year so I have a lot of time for longer term pups. I’m preparing for work part-time as well in the fall but I have a very open and flexible schedule. I have helped dog sit for years now and of course I’ve taken care of my own dogs since they were just babies. Unfortunately, I’m unable, for the most part, to have animals stay at my house however, I’m open if necessary. I walk and feed my own dogs daily and they take a lot of space so I want them to feel comfortable in their own environment.
