You can really tell Phoenix genuinely cares about your pet and with the highest level of integrity and professionalism we never worry about her. We highly recommend Phoenix for your family pet.”

2. Abigail M.

“Abigail was a life saver. Not only did she take good care of my dog while I was away all week, but when my flight was delayed she checked on my dog to make sure he was okay until I got home. I will definitely be using her to watch my dog again in the future.”

3. Nancye D.

“I was amazed at how quickly Chauncey (our rescue dachsshnd) warmed up the Nancye. She has this innate ability to know a dog and his needs, placing that as top priority. She texted with pictures often, I left home for a much needed few days away without a worry at all. HIGHLY recommend and feel sure we'll want Nancye to pet/house sit for us again--SOON!”

5. Emeline V.

About: I have had all the kinds of pets one could imagine, from dogs and cats to turtles and hamsters. I just recently got a puppy, golden retriever, who I have been training on the regular with commands and off leash walking. Throughout my time of growing up I have had to take care of multiple animals of different ages. My dog Dottie recently passed away at the age of 14, so I do have experience with geriatric dogs to say the least. I have also had practice taking care of multiple different breeds of dogs including but not limited to Yorkies, German Shepards, and Cocker Spaniels. I grew up with a mother who loved cats, so as one might imagine I know a thing or two about them. Cleaning the litter is somewhat of an everyday task for me. With that being said I have also had experience pet sitting for someone before who owned two guinea pigs, four rats, four cats, and a bearded dragon. I am currently a full-time student at Virginia Tech but most of my evenings are free and I do have breaks in between my classes. I also have a dog of my own so anytime a dog needs play time I would be more than welcome to take them to the dog park. I am back in Durham for winter break and have nothing to do but care for your pets needs and desires! I have a dog who is crate trained and a backyard at my apartment complex along with a dog park in my apartment complex. I also having a walking trail around my apartment complex that is approximately a mile long that I like to walk my dog on. I do also have a tether in my backyard that I can hook a dog up to if there is a required amount of outside time

6. Julie P.
About: I have cared for pets my whole life from my own, to neighbors, family members, friends and strangers! I love pets of all kinds. I have owned pets from chinchillas to cats and have always had a dog in my household. I am hoping to provide love and care to pets of all ages! I am working between the hours of 7:30-3pm Mon-Fri so I have some availability in the early mornings and a lot of availability in the evenings! My weekends are mostly free to care Friday evening through Sunday evening! My cat has her own side of the house she stays in but I can crate my pet or your pet if needed. I live on 13 acres of land away from main roads so there is plenty of space for your pets to run/go for walks with me and no danger of traffic!

7. Helen B.
“Helen is a compassionate and kind-hearted person. She has rescued 6 dogs and helped with two puppy births. I was amazed that she helped with the two litters- but she did so with ease and helped the mommas have a successful births with all living pups. She is active and loves to explore. She enjoys taking dogs on nature walks and exploring the area. If the pup needs some extra TLC, Helen is there to provide snuggles and snout kisses. She is incredibly receptive to a dog's behavior and wants them to feel comfortable. Having Helen as a pet caregiver means your pup will be safe and loved.”

8. Megan V.

“Meghan was amazing. Lucy was very well cared for, as was our home. We would definitely recommend her services and hope utilize them again in the future. 🐾”

9. Lillian A.

“Lillian was fantastic with our boys! She and her partner watched my dog, Duke, and rabbit, Sushi, in our house for two weeks while my husband and I went on our honeymoon in Greece. They treated our babies like they were her own, and she took great care of our house as well. Duke is 8 years old and has kidney disease and a thyroid problem, so he gets daily medication as well as a special diet. Lillian was diligent in making sure that Duke got his medication and meals on time. She also went above and beyond to make sure he got daily walks and his "zoomies" out playing with her pup Millie. Duke can be picky about dogs in his house, but he adored Millie, and she even became friends with our bunny Sushi! Lillian regularly reached out to provide us with updates while we were on vacation, and to share some photos of our boys. I couldn't recommend her highly enough! We hope she and her partner come watch our boys again soon!”

10. Gracie V.

“Gracie is wonderful! She is very knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviors, and made sure our dogs had a good time while we were away. She sent lots of pictures so we would know they were in good hands and we’ll definitely have her back again.”

11. Frankie P.

“Frankie, was absolutely wonderful all 3 pups were healthy and very happy. House was kept neat no dishes left in the sink. She sent daily updates on the pups with pictures. I would definitely recommend her”

12. Alexandra S.
“Alex is a wonderful dog momma. She treats our two boys with the same love as her own doggo. Our two dogs can be high energy, but Alex is capable of keeping up and keeping them entertained. One of our dogs requires daily medications, Alex has always been timely and communicative when giving each dose! I highly recommend her for any of your pet sitting needs!”

13. Simona F.
“Look no further, your furry friend is in excellent hands! Simona's dog Gabby, is so well loved and spoiled, and you can expect the same level of thoughtfulness and care. Simona is highly responsible and always follows through on her commitments. You can rest assured your dog will receive all her attention and affection.”
