About: I’m an experienced cat sitter and foster caregiver with a passion for helping pets feel safe, happy, and loved. I currently foster two cats and have two of my own, and over the years I’ve cared for and socialized more than 40 cats and kittens. I’ve currently work for a non-profit rescue called Forgotten Animal Rescue and work closely with local shelters on TNR programs and adoptions, gaining hands-on experience with shy or nervous cats and helping them become comfortable around humans. Whether it’s daily care, administering medications, or offering extra love and attention, I’m committed to making every pet feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. I have a consistent daily routine that allows me to give pets plenty of attention and care. I’m available to check in, feed, and play with cats multiple times a day, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings during weekends and anytime after before 8 am or after 5pm on weekdays. Because I foster cats and have my own at home, caring for pets is naturally built into my day, and I can adjust my schedule to meet the needs of each pet I sit. In my home or a client’s home, I make sure the space is secure, clean, and free from hazards, with plenty of cozy spots for pets to relax. I handle all pets gently and patiently, especially those who may be nervous or shy, giving them time to adjust and feel comfortable.

About: I enjoy taking care of dogs and cats of all sizes. I also am attentive to watering plants, watching out for deliveries, and checking mail. I keep the house neat and orderly just as I would have found it. I also am quiet and would be respectful if there are neighbors. I work remotely full-time, Monday through Friday, which fits well with pet sitting as I would be readily available while I work, and my current hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. I can take breaks frequently to walk pets and do all that is needed. I read instructions carefully left and adhere to all that is needed for each pet. I am glad to ask questions when those arise, and I also at times may take a picture of the pet to send to show how content each pet is and that they are doing well.

About: Previous volunteer at a humane society in Dublin, Virginia before moving to Roanoke, VA. Previous foster volunteer at the Roanoke, VA SPCA. This helps if I care for an animal that has health problems. Work Monday - Friday 8-5 away from home. Check on my dog at lunch and can let yours out to walk as well if they are crate trained and can stay in the crate while I am not home. Maeve is a spoiled dog. She is turned three in Oct. She loves being around other animals. Currently Maeve is an only pet but does well with other dogs.
