About: Previous volunteer at a humane society in Dublin, Virginia before moving to Roanoke, VA. Previous foster volunteer at the Roanoke, VA SPCA. This helps if I care for an animal that has health problems. Work Monday - Friday 8-5 away from home. Check on my dog at lunch and can let yours out to walk as well if they are crate trained and can stay in the crate while I am not home. Maeve is a spoiled dog. She is turned three in Oct. She loves being around other animals. Currently Maeve is an only pet but does well with other dogs.

I currently foster two cats and have two of my own, and over the years I’ve cared for and socialized more than 40 cats and kittens. I’ve currently work for a non-profit rescue called Forgotten Animal Rescue and work closely with local shelters on TNR programs and adoptions, gaining hands-on experience with shy or nervous cats and helping them become comfortable around humans. In my home or a client’s home, I make sure the space is secure, clean, and free from hazards, with plenty of cozy spots for pets to relax. About: I enjoy taking care of dogs and cats of all sizes. I also am attentive to watering plants, watching out for deliveries, and checking mail. I keep the house neat and orderly just as I would have found it. I also am quiet and would be respectful if there are neighbors. I work remotely full-time, Monday through Friday, which fits well with pet sitting as I would be readily available while I work, and my current hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. I can take breaks frequently to walk pets and do all that is needed. I read instructions carefully left and adhere to all that is needed for each pet. I am glad to ask questions when those arise, and I also at times may take a picture of the pet to send to show how content each pet is and that they are doing well.
