“Amberly was amazing! She stay at our house for a 10 day trip, and she took great care of my 2 dogs. She communicated very well and sent me photos. My dogs are my life, so it was so nice not having to worry about them while we were gone! ❤️”

“I was amazed at how quickly Chauncey (our rescue dachsshnd) warmed up the Nancye. She has this innate ability to know a dog and his needs, placing that as top priority. She texted with pictures often, I left home for a much needed few days away without a worry at all. HIGHLY recommend and feel sure we'll want Nancye to pet/house sit for us again--SOON!”

About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs of all ages and understand how to meet their unique needs! Whether it’s a playful puppy in training stages or supporting a senior pup with extra love and patience. I’m dependable, caring, and always focused on making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I'm a lifelong dog lover, and have had experience taking care of my own 4 pups! Along with sitting for family and friends over the years. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine! I currently have a part-time job at Montgomery hospital and attend Radford University during the school year, but I still have plenty of availability outside of classes. A majority of my classes are done by 11 am. And Wednesdays are my busiest/fullest days. I enjoy spending my free time with animals, and I’m great at balancing my responsibilities while making sure pets get the attention and care they need! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always make sure to follow their usual routines to help the pet feel safe and comfortable. I give lots of attention, playtime, and care, and I’m happy to follow any special instructions! Whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, or favorite walking routes. I treat every home with respect and every pet like family.

“Gracie is wonderful! She is very knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviors, and made sure our dogs had a good time while we were away. She sent lots of pictures so we would know they were in good hands and we’ll definitely have her back again.”

About: I've had many years of experience between keeping my own animals as well as house sitting or just dropping in to check on your pets! I also offer the same service for reptiles! Preferably would like to service closer to Wytheville but will travel in some cases, extra fees will apply depending on distance! I currently have a full time job but I am looking to quit so I can focus on doing nails and going to school part time for that but I need a side hustle! I live in a school bus so I don't really have tons of room to take care of pets there but I am more than willing to come to their homes, I'd prefer that the pet is comfortable as possible and I cannot stay overnight in a home but I can stay as long as needed to make sure the care requirements are met

“I was kind of in between a rock and a hard place.. I had to go out of town in a week, and didn’t want to leave my dog in a kennel again.. he has special needs and kennels have too many dogs to pay special attention to him so I tried Rover... My request for assistance was accepted right away. I was always able to reach the sitters and they sent me updates and statuses ... definitely recommend Cheyannes assistance if you need a sitter”

“Sydney and her roommate Kirsten did an amazing job watching our pup and cats while we were away for the weekend! They were available on short notice. They sent daily photos and updates which kept us at ease while we were away from our pup! I would definitely recommend both Sydney and Kirsten to anyone looking for a sitter! We will definitely reach out again to watch our pets!”

“Caroline did an amazing job watching our pup while we were away for the day on short notice! She did a great job of sending photos and updates throughout the day! I would definitely recommend Caroline to anyone looking for a sitter! We will definitely be reaching out again in the future!”

About: Hi! I’m Madison, and I’ve been a Rover sitter since 2019. I bring both passion and experience to the table—along with a background in Veterinary Science, which I studied for four years. I’ve owned and cared for animals my entire life and currently share my home with an Australian Shepherd/Lab mix and two cats, so I’m especially comfortable with multi-pet households and active breeds. What sets me apart is my ability to balance professional care with genuine love for animals. Whether I’m caring for a playful puppy or a senior dog who needs a gentler touch, I adapt to each pet’s personality, energy level, and needs. I’m also attentive to safety—my yard is large and perfect for play, but since I live near a busier road, I take all necessary precautions to keep pets secure during outdoor time and walks. I make communication a priority. I’ll keep you updated with regular check-ins, photos, and quick messages so you always know how your pet is doing. I also offer meet-and-greets (in-person or virtual) to ensure your pet feels comfortable with me before our first booking. Thank you for considering me—I’d love the chance to give your pet the love, attention, and expert care they deserve! Even as a busy nursing student, caring for animals is one of the best parts of my day—and something I genuinely make time for. My class schedule is flexible enough that I can prioritize spending quality time with your pets, whether it’s for a long walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care. Being around animals is a huge stress reliever for me, so I look forward to every visit. I treat every pet like they’re my own—making sure they get attention, play, and care tailored to their needs. My background in nursing means I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and confident handling schedules, medications, or special instructions. Pet care isn’t a side job for me—it’s something I love doing and work hard to do well. Your pets will get my full attention, lots of love, and a safe, happy experience every time we’re together. I have three pets of my own, so your fur baby will have plenty of company and a pet-loving environment whether I’m caring for them in your home or mine. I focus on creating a calm, structured atmosphere where your pet can feel safe and relaxed, especially since being away from their usual routine—or their favorite people—can be stressful. Whether I’m house sitting, walking your dog, or providing daycare, I do my best to stick to your pet’s regular schedule, including feeding times, walks, play, and any special routines or medications. I treat each pet like an individual, giving them the attention, patience, and care they need to feel right at home—even if they’re not. You can count on me to be respectful of your space, communicative, and totally focused on keeping your pet happy and healthy while you’re away.

“Abigail was a life saver. Not only did she take good care of my dog while I was away all week, but when my flight was delayed she checked on my dog to make sure he was okay until I got home. I will definitely be using her to watch my dog again in the future.”

About: So I have always been a loner in life. I'm that person that wants to take in the strays. I always say the animals choose me. In today's society no one has time to sit home all day and play with their pets. Thats what im here for. I can potty train, Crate train, and leash train. I love to go on walks and send lots of updates. So pet sitting is my only thing going on at the moment. I accept last minute emergencies, or plan ahead visits. I can keep them all day or however long you need me to. If you need a middle of the night drop off, im your girl. My pets run free. I don't leash my own but if yours is a runner I have a tie out or I can put them on their leash for a nice walk. At night, mine sleep in their kennels with the door open. Its kinda just a bed with walls.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was a kid. Family and friends trust me to take care of their pets. I’m a trustworthy person with any dog I want this to be a full time opportunity and I believe this is something I can be good at and give everyone my best In our home, they are family and I love to play, feed and take them on walks. I’m trustworthy with any dog I’m around. Thank you

About: I’ve taken care of many animals of different species. I have 10 loving pets and I love them dearly. I have a dog named indi, a cat named frenchie, a bearded dragon named Rex, leopard gecko named Clyde, a cat named shadow, an hairless Guinea pig named Brownie , and aquatic turtle named Tim. I also share a dog with my fiance and we have 4 dogs named phoenix, Elvis , Eleanor, and Stella. I am trained with senior dogs and puppies. My dog Indi is currently 16 years of age and Elvis is 15. I am comfortable with working with senior dogs. But over all I am comfortable with working with any animal. I also excel at training dog to do basic tricks. I am currently working at vet clinic , but I have plenty of time to drop in and give my client the upmost attention everyday. I am also currently in school at Radford university and I have classes as well in the morning so I will have to do it in the afternoon. But on the weekends I can give them as much attention as they need. I have a fenced yard and many loving fur babies . I am currently a senior at Radford University and majoring in biology and currently I am studying to become a Vet or a vet tech. I can not board animals. But I can drop by my clients house and take care of their living fur babies and give them all the care in the world. I can also make sure they are feed and have water and that they get exercise as well.

“I can't say enough good things about Amelia and the amazing care she provided for my two beagles! One is a playful 1-year-old and the other is a sweet and lazy 10-year-old. Amelia handled both of them with so much love, patience, and attentiveness. Not only is she incredibly sweet, but she also went above and beyond while I was away. I came home to a spotless house and two happy pups. She even tackled the nearly impossible task of bathing one of my dogs after she was sprayed by a skunk—something I wouldn’t wish on anyone! Amelia handled it with grace and made sure my pup was clean and comfortable. It's such a relief knowing I have someone I can truly trust with my dogs and my home.
