“Needed a last minute sitter and couldn’t be happier to have found these two! Gertie is only five months old, so I was definitely a little nervous about leaving her all day. Madeline and Karen sent updates that eased any anxiety I had and little miss was a happy girl in all the photos and videos they sent :)”

About: i had 3 dogs in my life. 2 of the dogs i had. i had since i was born. then i adopted another dog in 2014. wanting to adopted more dogs in the future. i have dogsit before in the past 3 years before i knew about rover. i love and adore dogs. i cant imagine life without one. Dogs are everything to me. Having dogs around get me outside more and walking more. i have trained my 3 dogs. so i know a tiny bit about trainging them. i currently dont have a job. i would make dog sitting a part time job for right now. i have alot of time to care for a dog. i give the pet alot of play time. i give the pet bathroom breaks as much as needed. i walk the pet like an hour or 2. ill feed the pet when he or she needes it. of course ill him or her water. ill give the pet as much exercise as he or she needs. i would have the pet come over to my apartment. im around a place where i can take the dog on a long or short walk. the apartment im at is very pet friendly. I say you would have to bring your pet to me at my apartment.

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life. I have 3 pups of my own and a variety of exotic animals. I have worked as a dog trainer and volunteer at the vet and rescues. I am very active so long walks are my favorite and I have a soft spot for old animals. I communicate very well. The standards I have for the care of my pets is exceptionally high and I provide that same experience for every pet I take care. I currently work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am available to do check ins or walks multiple times a day, if needed, and also have weekend availability. I am a big fan of communication(and photos!) but am trustworthy and reliable enough that you can also be out of service and rely on me to take care of things.

“Kayla is so lovely! Our pup, Chloe had a great time hanging out, going for walks and playing with her pup!”

“Sarah was amazing with my dog Tali. She treated her as she would her own dog. By the end Tali got to where she didn't want to leave! I cannot recommend Sarah enough.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover all of my life but specifically dogs. I feel they are true angels and as much as I’d love to own 10 of them, I can’t so this is the next best thing! I’m currently a stay-at-home mother of two children and we have our puppy, Nala. I have all the free time to take care of pets and make sure they’re constantly comfortable, loved, and checked on. I do have one extra large dog kennel. If you want to bring your own kennel, that is also totally fine! I have extra dog bowls as well, but again if you want to bring your own, totally fine! I have a safe, fenced in yard. I like to do outside time as much as possible so the dogs can get their energy out and if you have a food schedule, I can follow it!

“Miss Caroline is so sweet and kind, the amount of care she took in getting to know my Zelda so that I would feel comfortable with sending Zelda with her was so nice and comforting. My girl adores her, and even after a few days now gets excited when she hears her name or sees that we are approaching her car for drop off.”

“Sophie seems to love hanging out with Tessa and her pooches and always comes home tired. It’s such a peace of mind to have a safe and fun family that Sophie spend time with.”

About: I grew up in a zoo of a home with a mom that made our pets her top priority. I have been dog sitting for over 10 years and know the ins and outs of how to keep an animal happy and healthy/safe. I own a small business in town and work around my pups schedule. We go on morning walks, lunch time hikes and even post work walks if needed. I am also capable to giving medication. I own a small business and make my own hours. I typically work Monday-Thursday and my dogs are only left for 3-4 hours at a time. Pets are always welcome to sleep in the bed with me or kenneled depending on what you prefer. I live walking distance from the Klatt dog park if you’re comfortable with me taking your pup there or we can do one on one walks around the neighborhood. Hikes are also offered in the summer time! Dogs are my life and always have been. Their well being, happiness and safety is my top priority! My back yard is fully secure, I drive a 2019 4 runner for safe transport and my home is always free of rope/unsafe toys, poisons, etc. I have personally trained my dogs for duck hunting and obedience and can offer Training assistance if needed(: Dogs are always safely exercised and I believe in positive reinforcement.

“I have a intact wolfhound puppy. With all the trouble that entails, Becky handled it beautifully. The request was at the last minute with early I. The morning drop offs on a weekend, she gave him walks, sent me pictures, and he always came home happy and worn out. I would highly recommend Becky to my friends and family”

“Very flexible and took great care of Joey in a pinch. Would book her again!”

“Rebecca is very kind, flexible and truley a dog lover. A service I will use again for sure!”

“Jessica has a secure fully fenced yard and will treat your dog like it is her own. My dog Fannie only had a short visit, but I felt confident leaving her with Jessica.”

About: I started taking care of neighborhood pets starting at a very young age. Mostly dogs and cats but I had some eclectic neighbors growing up and remember finding my young self even caring for llamas at one point. I have cares for a wide variety of dogs from young puppies full of energy to senior doggos who just love lounging and being loved. I don’t have a dog of my own currently but love having them around and love Rover for that reason. Pet care is very important to me and right now I am working from home so my schedule is very open for me to be around pets for most of the day. I live in a condo right down the street from university lake dog park in anchorage and I make sure to always have them leashes up when I leave for walks each day. I have no problem letting your pet have free range to the condo if I am out running errands during the day and make sure to let them out to go potty first thing upon returning home.
