About: Hi! I’m Susie. I’ve always been an animal lover and know how much our pets mean to us. For years I’ve cared for my friends’ dogs whenever they traveled, and after realizing how much I enjoy it, I decided to join Rover. At home, I have a dachshund named Nugget and a cat named Cosmo, so caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life. I live in a single-family home with my son, and we have a fully fenced backyard with a medium-sized doggy door, giving dogs plenty of room to safely play and explore. About: I have been taking care of pets for family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. I am reliable, consistent and build relationships with the pets to keep them comfortable while you are away. My full-time job has summers off, so I have more open availability. About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember and have been caring for them since I was a little kid. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and they are truly family to me. One of my most meaningful experiences was caring for my late dog, Roo, who battled cancer for about a year before we lost her in September. During that time, I gained experience providing medication, extra comfort, patience, and specialized care. I have a 1 year old puppy named Tilly and a 14 year old dog named Leo who keep me active and remind me every day how important exercise, playtime, routine, and affection are. About: My husband and I lost our great Pyrenees last year :( We miss him. We would like to watch another dog because our shihtzu is getting older and does not like to hike anymore. She does enjoy her walks tho. We like all types of dogs as long as they are well behaved and get along with cats and other dogs. Our home is 2,800 sq ft and we have a 10,000 sq ft yard. We can only host 1 dog so your dog will be well taken care. We prefer only one at a time since we also have a cat but may make an exception if from the same family . I am currently working part time but work from home most of the time. My husband also works from home . We walk our dog 2 -3 times a day. We like to hike and during the summer and in winter we walk the trails that are right next to our home. I have a fenced yard , but can also crate your baby if you prefer. We have everything needed for a big or little dog.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. They have had all types of personalities which has helped me learn what is best for each dog. I currently have a dog with super high anxiety, so I am willing to work with similar dogs as I understand patience is necessary. I have also wanted my aunts 3 large dogs on several occasions! I love every type of dog and cannot wait to work with them! I am currently taking an online course from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I am available 7 days a week and can usually work around different times for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, or pet care needs. Since my coursework is online, I’m able to plan my day around the pets I’m caring for and give them plenty of attention. I’m happy to help with morning, afternoon, evening, or weekend care, and I can be flexible with last-minute needs when possible. My open schedule allows me to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they get the care, exercise, and attention they’re used to. I care for pets like they’re my own by giving them attention, patience, and a routine they’re comfortable with. I follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medication, and anything else their pet needs. I make sure pets always have fresh water, a safe environment, and plenty of love and playtime. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure the home is clean and secure before I leave. I’m also happy to send photo updates so owners can feel confident their pets are doing well.
About: Hi, I’m Sarah and I’m a lifelong Alaskan. I have a small dog of my own that will welcome your best friend as one of the pack! I grew up with pets, I’ve attended dog behavioral training and first aid courses, and there’s never been a time in my life when I didn’t have a dog. I have a fenced property with a big yard in a convenient midtown location. We’d love to have your dog stay with us! I am now home and dog sitting full-time every day. I can accommodate almost any schedule necessary and can work with your needs for drop off and pick up. I have a fenced property with a large yard for your dog to enjoy. Typically I don’t use crates unless requested by the owner and your pet is welcome to make themself at home. I also love taking photos so you can expect lots of pics of your pup while they’re staying with us.

About: I got a golden doodle when I was very young. Ever since then I’ve had a huge love for dogs and all animals. I’ve grown up with one, we got a second one shortly after. We basically had a mini farm at home, including ducks and bunnies. Once I moved out of my parents house I got a cat and a border collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I’ve been around animals all of my life. And I couldn’t imagine life without them. I work a full-time job Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with an hour lunch. I work Fridays from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. I usually go home for lunch to make sure all pets are cared for. After work, I usually stay home for the rest of the night. I live in an apartment on the second floor with a balcony. It is a very safe environment. And cozy place. It is in a closed balcony, so there is no risks of animals falling off. I have two different windows that are big and both open for fresh air.

I regularly check on friends cats and dogs when they are out of town (for the past 10 years), so I am confident in my abilities to give your pets the attention they need while you're away. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with patience, attention, and respect. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, medication reminders, enrichment, or just some extra companionship while you're away, I’ll make sure they feel safe and cared for. I work remotely as a postdoc for UAF and my schedule can be flexible to work with yours/your pets needs! I enjoy spending time outdoors, and I’m happy to provide walks, drop-in visits, and active outings tailored to your pet’s needs. I’m reliable, communicative, and will always send updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. I have two cats and will generally not be accepting any stay-over visits at my own house. They are really friendly and love humans but other pets would be stressful for everyone!

About: Hi! I’m Susie. I’ve always been an animal lover and know how much our pets mean to us. For years I’ve cared for my friends’ dogs whenever they traveled, and after realizing how much I enjoy it, I decided to join Rover. At home, I have a dachshund named Nugget and a cat named Cosmo, so caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life. I live in a single-family home with my son, and we have a fully fenced backyard with a medium-sized doggy door, giving dogs plenty of room to safely play and explore. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home while they’re with us. I’ll follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible and send regular photo updates so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home 4 days a week so I am available often. Thursday I go into the office 9-5, so animal would need to handle some alone time (crated/house trained) I follow instructions left by owner and if I need any further instructions I would contact owner. I am pretty laid back and animal would have full access to home and backyard.

Over the years I've had the opportunity to dog sit for friends, family, neighbors & coworkers, caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities. From energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a slower pace, I am comfortable adapting to each dog's unique needs and routine. I have experience following detailed care instructions, administering oral medications when needed, maintaining feeding schedules, providing daily exercise, and giving each dog the love, patience, and attention they deserve. I work from 9 am to 3 pm Monday - Friday. Saturday-Sunday I am off! Before and after work, I make sure dogs get plenty of attention, play time, and potty breaks! Your dogs safety is top priority. I have a secure fully fenced yard, giving dogs room to explore and play freely and safely and plenty of space for dogs to relax indoors. I have dog beds through out the house so your dog can relax where ever it feels most comfortable. My own dogs are extremely friendly, playful and very accustomed to being around other dogs. I carefully introduce pets and give your pet the space they need to warm up. Don't worry! You will never feel out of the loop, I provide photos and updates throughout the stay.
