They clearly have a lot of experience with dogs and all their quirks :). They are pretty flexible and offer a pick-up and drop-off option which came in handy this trip. I will definitely use them again. Their HOA only allows 2 dogs, so your dog will be the only one staying there with them and their dog. They are a very nice couple with a great set-up for watching a dog.”

About: I have been taking care of pets for family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. I am reliable, consistent and build relationships with the pets to keep them comfortable while you are away. My full-time job has summers off, so I have more open availability. Barring the 4 or 5-hour gaps in my day with my part-time job, I can give your pet the care they need/require. I have two medium-sized dogs and a geriatric cat (he is 26!). About: I have had cats since I was a kid. We have a special and spiritual connection. I love meow-meows and they know it. My current angel, Ponyo, is 17 and has the viviacity of a 2 year old. She was recently diagnosed w/hyperthyroidism and, as such, she takes a pill at breakfst and din-dins. Lovingly administering her pill has become normal. As for past babies, I have given a diabetic cat (Betty) his shots, an asthmatic cat (Hermes) his puffer 2xper day, and even helped my geriatric best friend (Nigel) deal with her brain tumor enduced end-of-life seizures. At every stage of my life, either they have saved me or me them. Let me take care of your babies!

We booked her for three hour-long drop-in visits while we were away for a long train trip to Seward and back, and she was reliable, attentive, and clearly spent the time making sure Elliot had a great day too. She took him on nice long walks, played with him, took care of his meals and routine, and sent fantastic Rover cards with lots of photos and walk updates. We had limited cell service for much of the day, so being able to check in and see exactly what Elliot had been up to was incredibly reassuring. About: My husband and I lost our great Pyrenees last year :( We miss him. We would like to watch another dog because our shihtzu is getting older and does not like to hike anymore. She does enjoy her walks tho. We like all types of dogs as long as they are well behaved and get along with cats and other dogs. Our home is 2,800 sq ft and we have a 10,000 sq ft yard. We can only host 1 dog so your dog will be well taken care. We prefer only one at a time since we also have a cat but may make an exception if from the same family . I am currently working part time but work from home most of the time. My husband also works from home . We walk our dog 2 -3 times a day. We like to hike and during the summer and in winter we walk the trails that are right next to our home. I have a fenced yard , but can also crate your baby if you prefer. We have everything needed for a big or little dog.

One of my most meaningful experiences was caring for my late dog, Roo, who battled cancer for about a year before we lost her in September. About: Growing up on a farm instilled a love of animals in me from a young age. I am a true animal lover and prefer the company of animals to many humans ; ) I have experience with most pets from dogs and cats to birds, livestock and horses. I have rescued countless strays, trained many puppies and kittens and the running joke in the family is “if there’s a stray in a five mile radius they end up at Carly’s door”. I work from home so I’m never far whether your pet loves to sit nearby and remain close to me throughout the day or just needs a quiet and restful space, I have them covered. I provide dog beds and cat beds and do my utmost to make your furry friend feel settled in their home away from home. I will soon have a fenced in yard for my cat-friendly dog and four bedrooms for cats if they need a peaceful retreat. I provide fresh, filtered water daily along with meals and of course routine walks/potty breaks/litter box cleaning. If toys are allowed we have plenty to go around!

I maintain consistent routines, separate dogs when needed, and never leave unfamiliar dogs unattended together. I also follow owner instructions closely regarding feeding, medications, and crate use. Clear communication and proactive supervision are important to me.
About: I've had dogs since I was born on and off for the past twenty six years. I have fallen in love with all of fur babies. Im very attentive and mindful of dog behaviors. And we'll adapt to the situation when needed. I am on a sabbatical and am looking for some adventure. With a passion for animals this is my perfect avenue to find that adventure. I have no problem traveling between clients, and adjusting the preferences, depending on the fur baby. I am a loving and warm spirit and doesn't mind taking time to get to now the fur baby before anything proceeds.

“Zec took great care of our two dogs! He’s very communicative, initiated a meet and greet before the stay to make sure our dogs got along, and sent consistent updates. His dog is a gentle giant and was so patient with our one dog (who has crazy cattle dog energy and doesn’t get along with every dog). They came home tired, happy, and healthy. He even shared some of his homemade salmon dog treats with my pups. Would recommend if you need a reliable sitter.”
“Finn's stay with Julie was great. I got multiple daily updates which was awesome since Finn is a puppy and I was worried he might be really stressed. They clearly have a lot of experience with dogs and all their quirks :). They are pretty flexible and offer a pick-up and drop-off option which came in handy this trip. I will definitely use them again. Their HOA only allows 2 dogs, so your dog will be the only one staying there with them and their dog. They are a very nice couple with a great set-up for watching a dog.”
