About: I have taken care of many dogs for family and friends in the Austin area for overnight trips, emergency trips, and day to day care. I follow instructions well and love to spend time with all animals, especially dogs. I take care of my two cats at home daily and occasionally take care of other pets for friends and family. I have a part time job so my schedule is flexible. I check their essentials every day (water, food, etc.) and spend time with them to make sure they’re active and happy. Any other needs I happily take care of with instructions given to suit the needs of your pet and home!

I work from home and have a completely clear schedule in which I can care for your pet however, you desire my general schedule is usually to wake up take the pets for a walk and bathroom then breakfast time they will receive another walk between morning and lunch and then another at lunchtime at which point lunch can be served dependent on your pets eating schedule. They will receive another walk between lunch and dinner and then a walk at dinner at which time dinner can be served. They will receive another walk before I go to bed and anything that needs to be done in between all of this I am able to do and I believe that I can meet your expectations whatever the case

Okay, being serious now....if and when we ever need another Rover for our baby, you can rest assured we will be desperately trying get her again - she was wonderful with Cocoa and very with us. You could see it in the pictures. Cocoa was happy and loved while we were gone. We have been reluctant to take any trips because we aren't comfortable leaving our baby. But with Andrea, we both felt assured that she was in great hands. We will actually be much more likely to take trips if we can get Andrea to be our Rover in the future!”

Before our first walk, we’ll go over your pet’s routine, personality, and any safety expectations — including how they do around other dogs, whether they’re comfortable drinking water while out, and anything else I should know. We can stick to a familiar walking route, visit a dog park if you’re comfortable with that, or add games like fetch and playtime when your pup needs more energy burned than a walk alone. For boarding in my home: I have a fenced-in yard, access to a neighborhood dog park, two friendly cats, and a 15-lb fluffy white dog who absolutely loves other animals. I’ll always take your pet’s personality and comfort level into account when deciding how much interaction they have with my pets. For house sitting: I treat your home with the same respect I’d want someone to show mine — keeping things clean, respecting your space, and following your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I especially love house sitting because I can work on my online master’s program while keeping your pet company, taking plenty of breaks for walks, playtime, cuddles, and attention. About: I’ve raised a golden aussiedoodle puppy from 10 weeks old into adulthood. Familiar with clicker training and rewards based treat motivations on and off leash. I love to run and if your dog would like to run on our walks, I’m happy to get in a run together for extra exercise! I’m an early riser and can give walks/runs in the AM on the weekdays. Weekends I love to spend my time when I can with pets! I am very respectful of any rules in client’s homes and will leave any toys etc. where they belong. Communication is very important! I grew up accompanying my mother while she cleaned homes, where I was responsible for looking after pets during visits, including feeding, walking, cleaning their spaces, and making sure they were calm and comfortable while their owners were away. I also had a cat for 18 years, during which I was involved in her daily care, routines, and longterm wellbeing throughout her life. I care deeply about animals and tend to be very attentive to their needs and comfort. To give a small example, I often check ahead of time if a movie involves animal harm so I can prepare myself emotionally. These experiences have made me patient, observant, and consistent with animals. I’m comfortable following detailed routines and making sure pets feel safe, cared for, and well looked after in their owners’ absence I work as a private violin teacher, typically teaching lessons daily in the afternoons and evenings, usually between about 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with some variation depending on the day. My mornings and earlier afternoons are generally flexible, which allows me to schedule pet care, walks, and drop-ins consistently during those hours. I also have availability later at night and overnight depending on the booking, which makes house sitting and extended stays possible. I’m organized with my schedule and make sure to communicate clearly in advance so pet care responsibilities are reliable and consistent I prioritize safety, routine, and respect for each home I enter. I follow all care instructions closely, maintain a calm and structured environment for pets, and ensure their daily routines are kept consistent. I’m attentive to detail, especially during walks and feedings, and always make sure doors, leashes, and gates are secure. I treat each home with care and professionalism, keeping spaces clean and organized. I also provide clear communication and updates so owners feel confident and informed while they’re away.

We keep a set routine for meals, exercise, rest and crate time, which is what settles most dogs down fastest. I have a crate available if yours is crate trained or wants a quiet space of their own, and I sanitize it and wash all bedding between every stay. Potty breaks every couple of hours. I live in an apartment with no yard, so we walk instead, which means I am careful about leashes, harnesses and doors and I do not let dogs off leash anywhere that is not enclosed. Only 1 or 2 dogs are ever here at once, so there is no group play and no surprises with other people's dogs.
