About: I’ve worked with animals, mostly dogs and horses my whole life. My career as a Ship’s Captain makes it impossible for me to have my own pets, so I care for others’s pets, like they are my own. I am very responsible and resourceful. I will always keep you informed on how your dog is, I’ll send you photos, a LOT! I completely respect owners wishes and direction regarding dog care, diet and exercise. I’m a fit person, and enjoy exercise myself. I enjoy the company of a dog when exercising. Makes us both happy. When I care for a dog in your home, I understand the boundaries. My home is in a beautiful area, with plenty of room. I do have a fenced space. I spend a lot of time with who I’m boarding, since I am on leave when I do pet care. I am happy to take care of multiple pets from the same home. However, I do try to take care of only one family at a time. When I’m caring for your pet, I am on leave, and have very few commitments. I spend a lot of time outdoors, and adjust my routine to suit my clients needs. Being on leave makes it easy. I have a lot of room at my home, no pets of my own, and my neighbors don’t have any either. I have a fenced dog run, but I seldom need to use it, but I know I am glad to have it, just in case.

“Candice did an awesome job watching Trixie for us for 9 days. She took her on walks, played fetch with her and took her to the creek. She sent daily pictures and text updates. We had no issues or problems with Candice taking care of our dog. We are extremely pleased with her and the job she did dog sitting. We would highly recommend her and will use again if she is avaliable.”

About: I’ve been taking care of family members pets for 10 + years. I adore being able to surround myself with animals of all kinds! Let me take care of your furry family for peace of mind, while you’re away! I am currently working full time 8-5 in the medical field here in rapid city! I mainly have weekend availability and of course night time during the week. I have pets of my own at home and as gentle as they are I prefer to care for pets in their own environment. I feel it’s most comforting when a pet can be in their own space without other pets complicating the situation. I love to take a nice walk in nice weather but cuddles in the cold are also so nice! Either way I will care for your pets with the utmost love and care!

About: When me and your dog get together, and I’ll drop off your dog. Your dog will tell you how much they enjoyed the excitement and plans, but we did the amount of walks we do in the amount of time to play play fetch go to the dog park go on a run, the amount of snacks that we eat it’s like a dream come true just in dog form. I love my dog and being outside so I will love your dog just as much maybe more! Every day of the week Sunday through Sunday whenever I can play with your dog or changes going on a walk is the perfect time for me. I care for the dog like it’s my dog. Anytime of the daylight and sun is up is when we will be outside and enjoying the sunshine and breeze

Since i was about 8 I have taken care of neighbors and friends pets! I have also spent time studying animals and there psychology and hope to keep learning more!
